For me, I generally only stop at joints like these to fill up my tank. I don't buy candy, lottery tickets, or other items of waste, unless it's beer, or wine. With this said, Hillbilly Hangout is a great store to stop in for a quick sixer, or bottle of vino. Seriously, who the hell would ever imagine that a gas station, in Flint, Texas, of all places, would have such an impressive selection of beer, and wine. It almost doubles as a second store. They took it back and heated it but not to the level it should be. I think They get in a hurry as they really do have a lot of folks. Today I ordered it as usual. Quartet sandwich. When I got it there was very little meat. If you know this sandwich, it's filled with meat. See pics below of menu pic, actual pic of sandwich I got. I got the manager (young guy) and showed him. He said looks like they didn't get some of the meat on it. I replied looks like they didn't get most of the meat. He said he would get me some more. At nearly $12 for the managers special now, you kind of want the meat on the sandwich. At least it was hot. Just need to get back to making sure everything is as it should be when delivered. My daughter loved the cookies and chocolate cake, no surprise there and their cobbler reminded me of my grandma's...
