I did ask for no onions, but they still came with onions. Thankfully, they were easy enough to pick off, and they were still delicious. The queso was creamy, cheesy, and the perfect side to go with the tacos. Overall, a great meal, and I'll definitely be back. Just hoping they get my order right next time!

For starters, there is a Starbucks and a Walgreens pharmacy attached, which seems pretty typical for a grocery store, but then you see they have a gelato shop, a pizzeria, a grill with a patio, a taqueria, and more. Their huge patio space makes it a place that people of Tyler love coming to and eating at. This is like a Whole Foods for Tyler. The options and selections were a lot more vast than I had ever seen. I'm seeing fruit and produce I've never seen before. They have so much wine and beer to choose from. Their bakery has so many insane options. FRESH even has a full playground next door and live music on their patio. It's honestly a really impressive shop. One of the only downsides of FRESH is that you're going to pay that price tag. Everything is always slightly more than elsewhere in town. Its quality is what makes it worth the visit. It feels like one of a kind as a grocery store, which is why it took 10-plus years to open a second location. It's not only a grocery store, it's part of the Tyler community. Their deli counter is a major highlight--the sandwiches are ridiculously good, prepared with my favorite ingredients that are always fresh and packed with flavor. Some shoppers pulled their masks down once inside, but that's their issue. The shelves were well stocked, and I was able to find everything I needed. Customer service: The checker was very friendly and helped me open a store savings account so that I could receive a $20 discount on sale items. Much appreciated! The bagger offered to help me to my car, something that I always decline. I'm an able 40yr old woman and would prefer to pass on the help so they could help someone in need. The bagger offered a second time and I declined again. I took a few steps and a gentleman, assuming the manager as he was in a tie, asked to let the bagger help me to my car and return the cart as that was part of their service. I then accepted the help and said that it is a great service to offer. The bagger was friendly and made light conversation on the way to my car and was very careful loading my groceries. Brookeshire's is great! I will always look to shop at one when I'm near one (I live in Austin and haven't seen one around).
