Learned about Greenbergs from John T Edge on TrueSouth. It was an add, but he says he'd been…read moregetting these ever since he's a kid and it's a mainstay on his Thanksgiving table. I figured it had to be at least ok if he's giving that kind of testimonial, so we gave it a try this year. Wow, we LOVED it. Incredibly smoky flavor and smell, but not overwhelming. The smokiness stays with you, but in a good way...I keep smelling it on my fingers for hours no matter how much handwashing you do. It arrives as described in a bag and partially frozen and as they say, you don't need to do anything and just serve room temperature. We decided to gently warm the turkey in the oven with residual heat and it was perfect. But I've also eaten it cold on sandwiches which was equally great. I'm going to use the smokey carcass to make a nice turkey soup. Turkey is well seasoned, smokey goodness and it couldn't be simpler. There's also a surprising amount of meat on a relatively small bird, part of it is they don't sell it with the wings, so it's not counted in the weight. Loved it and the family is already debating if we need to cook a turkey ever again!
