I just had the most amazing learning and buying experience and wanted to THANK both Mark and Evan for taking the time to educate me. I am always in a hurry when shopping, and today was no exception. My foot doctor had given me specific instructions to buy shoes with maximum support. Within minutes these guys had me fitted and heading out the door with a size 11, BEAST mode running/ walking shoe, and an 11.5 ADRENALINE ASR 13 hiking shoe..... Evan pointed out that the ASR 13's tend to require the extra 1/2 size. Having been on these feet now, for 64 Thanksgivings, acknowledging above and beyond Customer Service feels WIN-WINish. This location is the head store at the Brooks HQ. This store has a nice variety of items and very helpful staff. Shoes are organized in a logical manner and the ambiance is bright and spacious within the store. I recommend coming here to see any new products and browse through any local events (races/walks). read more

Save yourself some time and money and rudeness. Go to Fleet Feet. They will actually watch you run, measure your feet/arches, and be friendly and helpful. This Brooks store is appalling, overpriced, and filled with people that don't really know how to fit running shoes. It's sad I have to go to one of the stores the company distributes to to get a pair of Brooks running shoes. You would think the Trailhead store would be a good role model for other running stores in Seattle. My advice to Brooks: Stay in the running shoe making business, but stay out of the retail business. Regardless of how convenient this store is for you, avoid it! Trek down to Capitol Hill. Go to Fleet Feet. You'll run happier there. read more

I've recently gotten into running outside more and wanted some new running pants for my morning runs in the dark. Was super impressed--as a non-'hardcore' runner, I always get a little nervous going to these places if I'm just running 5ks. Luckily, the staff was super nice and approachable, and didn't make me feel like a lazy human. The store is super beautiful inside, and after a week with my new pants I am loving them-way more visible running before sunrise, and super comfortable. Great experience, knowledgeable staff. These guys know their stuff. They took their time and looked at my gait on and off the treadmill. They also gave me plenty of time to try out different models to see which worked best for me. I love my new shoes! My feet have never felt better. read more

A lovely and well designed store featuring a wealth of footwear and athletic wear options. Their running shoes are very comfortable, even for someone with slightly wide feet. Staff are friendly and knowledgable without being pushy about the sale. I wish Brooks offered more color options for women's casual shoes (too heavy on the pastels), or that their men's shoes (in cooler color combos) came in sizes small enough for women, but I know that's not this store's fault! read more

Brooks has a brand new headquarters and a great shop on the bottom floor. The full array of shoes and a great selection of attire are on display. They have treadmills for trying shoes and doing hair analysis and even have towels and water if you work up a sweat. I liked the blackboard with upcoming runs and people's favorite routes nearby which added a sense of community. Prices are not too high on the athletic gear scale. I am a huge fan of the shoes too. read more

As an avid Brooks fan, I was so excited to visit the Seattle store. I have been running in Brooks shoes for years. I have purchased the Rock and Roll marathon shoes, 4th of July shoes, Christmas. My husband and I arrived to find the one salesman in a personal conversation. We were waiting and waiting and finally the salesperson asked if he could help us. My husband asked for a shoe size, I was not asked. There were two other workers in the store, working on some kind of wall board. They didn't speak to us either. We waited and waited for the salesperson to return. We didn't know why he was taking so long, we were hoping he was alright and not chatting on his own cellphone or maybe in the restroom? The two other workers didn't seem to think anything was amiss. The salesperson return and gave the box of shoes to my husband. I held up a shoe and told him what size I needed. He left not attending to my husband. He returned (this time not so long) and shook his head saying he didn't have them in my size. Maybe he could of suggested another shoe style or ask what I was looking for? He then told me saying "you could probably order them online?". Really? I made a special trip just to visit this store. A ferry ride over, and an Uber just to go to this store. I was so looking forward to this visit. My husband paid for his shoes, and we left. Also, at this time early morning right upon the stores opening, we were the only two customers in the store. I noticed a treadmill in a corner of the store, would have been nice to have been told what it was there for? I guess to try out your shoes? This was not what I expected from this store or from Brooks. I will always be loyal to wearing my Brooks shoes and look forward to all of the "theme shoes and new styles" they offer but was so unhappy with the store and the employee. I could have probably gone to any discounted shoe store and got better service. I just thought since the company is so much into customer service-love the fact I can return them after 90 days, it would be an much better experience. Sadly I won't be returning. read more

Waited 15 minutes for service when a salesperson freed up he helped a man that had just walked in, the other sales people don't seem to be able to help or acknowledge more than one person at a time. Bought the shoes on line for 20% less. read more

Let me preface this by saying so far I love Brooks company products. My running shoes are great and have revolutionized my running. But this stores service is TERRIBLE. I came in this week looking for help with items since I'm doing my first race soon. The staff there ( one girl in particular wearing glasses ) were so unhelpful it was painful. I asked basic questions that she couldn't answer, and when I asked for helping finding sizes she just stood there and I had to do it all myself, reading the tags and sitting through mounds of clothes while she just looked and occasionally pointed in a general direction. I was having a hard time finding my size and when I came back out of the dressing room to ask for help she just stood across the store and looked at me to the point of I had to ask her to come over to me instead of ignoring me to talk to her friends. Even then she couldn't answer any basic questions ( sizing or recommendations of fit) to the point that I left. I work in customer service and this is NOT how you treat customers. Very disappointed. read more

Don't expect shoes sales that you see advertised online in the store, they only have "the latest" styles.

Nice and extremely helpful staff. I was looking for something with more support for my new hobby, running. I wasn't sure which model would work best for me but knew I needed something better than what I was currently running with. The staff member asked for my size and came out with a few pairs to try on. As I tried them all on, he told me to actually go for a quick jog in them to really feel them out! I was shocked by the customer support! They really wanted to make sure I was happy and comfortable with my new shoes! A few months into running with my Launch 4s and I started running long distances, something I never thought I'd ever do! I wish I had just ordered online. Sigh. One salesperson was pretty helpful, but she ordered the wrong shoe which I had to wait a week for in first place. The other lady that was working when I picked them up was a meanie. The color choices are not great. This will probably be my last pair of Brooks. read more

The guy who helped me was attentive and seem to know his stuff. The shoes you sold me are great. Haven't worn Brooks in years but the new footbeds are kind of amazing. They seem to keep your intrinsic for muscles working well but support the ankle at the same time. Kudos to Brooks on this one. read more
