I did my research on where to send my beloved Cheeto to get trained. I checked several places within the Chicago-land area and Brooks Canine Center was hands down the most recommended. When I scheduled my consultation with Colton I was thoroughly impressed. He was not trying to sell me, he wasn't trying to convince me otherwise. He was very knowledgeable and knew what he was talking about, I knew I made the right decision by booking for Cheeto to stay with them for board and train for 2 weeks. Colton brought Cheeto back home after the two weeks and he had to pick my jaw up from the floor because I couldn't believe the significant change in Cheeto. He was a great dog to begin with, but, there were minor tweaks that I wasn't able to focus on and Colton really listened to me. All the issues I had brought up during our consultation he addresses and really worked on them. I can't wait for our follow up sessions. I also can't speak highly enough of the amazing staff. I decided to pull Cheeto from his current daycare because I knew how much better he would do with Brooks Canine Center and their staff. While it's a little more expensive, you can afford to pay for better quality care. I highly recommend Brooks Canine to anyone looking for either training, boarding or day care!

If I could give this place zero stars I would! I brought my 2 dogs there perfectly healthy and happy. After I wasted money on the Bootcamp/boarding I came to get my dogs and one of the dogs was extremely malnourished and very skinny and had half of his nose was scraped off. Colton had said it was because he was in a cage and barking. Why on earth would a dog be in that much stress to scrape off his nose??? Colton is a great talker and knows just the right things to say to make himself seem knowledgeable. This company has been passed down through his family and he has no real knowledge to correct a dogs behavior except instill fear into the dogs. He would come over for training sessions after the Bootcamp only to have our dogs cower and both were afraid to go by him. All he did was talk and talk for the half the session and maybe 10-15min of interaction with the dogs. He also just suggested a shock collar and our dogs were not even one years old at the time. He is also extremely condescending! I did not get to tour the facility and every dog owner should!!! Do not take your dog here at all!!

Doggone it. I like these dog-friendly trainers! I selected this training center since I wanted my Pitbull puppy to be trained outside in the fresh air with plenty of distractions - other dogs, noises, squirrels, etc. I am so happy I went forward with my Basic Training here. I was able to bring my family member with me so that we both could learn the proper techniques (as I soon came to find out, it just as much a training class for the human counterparts). They were thorough, realistic and gave personalized tips/tricks for each animal based on prior real-life experience. Can't wait to take her to the Advanced Training course!

Colton was great offering personalized training for us and our dog Moose. Moose, a very sweet rescue dog from Kentucky, had at least two failed placements before he came to us. He was unmanageable because he is very strong, "energetic" and stubborn. I had trained all of our rescue dogs before him and was sure I could handle Moose. Well, not so much, and after many months of very little progress we found ourselves wondering if we would be adding ourselves to Moose's list of failed placements-we just couldn't handle him. Brooks Canine came to the rescue - Colton evaluated Moose and was willing to take us on as a client. The results have been great - with Colton's assistance, and tons of patience, Moose is becoming controllable, responsive, and eager to please. Moose has even been to doggie daycare! We are so happy that Moose, and Colton, are permanent members of our family. Many thanks to Brooks Canine!!

I've been looking for a place to board and train my dog and they have been so alert to emails and planning. I feel confident with them!

My senior dog can't take epic grooming sessions, and her hair was choppy and uneven after her last groom. Her ears and tail had been weirdly shaved, and I wasn't sure we'd be able to make her look normal again during her lifetime. The staff at Rover's is friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. The groomer we saw today has been grooming for 18 years, and had my sweet pup groomed in 45 minutes--and it's the best cut she's had in years. She did what she could to round out her ears, and to help set her up with a cut she can grow back into and look like herself again. My dog is fluffy, soft, adorable, and HAPPY! As a side note, all of the groomers there today were being so warm and friendly with the dogs in their care. I even saw one groomer sitting on the floor keeping a dog company while it waited for its owner. We will be going to Rover's for our grooming from now on!!

It's a wonderful place for dogs! You can see that everyone who works there loves dogs and really cares about them. I have been taking Shyla here for day care for several years, and I board her there when necessary. I wouldn't trust Shyla to anyone else! The place is HUGE and very clean. There are several different areas of play, both inside and outside, and a few different types of sleeping areas for overnight guests. When you board your dog you get a report card, letting you know everything you'd want to know about your dog's stay! Plus they have webcams all over the place, but I don't use them anymore. I know Shyla is in loving care, safe and happy! Wiggly Tails is where you want your dog to be! (And this is about the 3rd review I've given them in the past four years! The wonderful people who work there have become our family! And it's Shyla's second home!)

I will not be going back to Wiggly Tails after a second, and this time horrific, biting incident resulting in severe injuries to my dog, the defenseless, kind and loyal Bailey. I apologize for sharing these horrific pictures, but I do not want any other unsuspecting owners to land themselves in the position that my dog and I are in. The photos are after my dog was cleaned up. It was much worse, looking infected. I'm heartbroken and mentally exhausted. I gave them a second chance the first time and I was assured it wouldn't happen again. The first time, I didn't post anything and I was asked to give them a second chance. I'm not sure why they neglected my dog to allow it to happen. There should have been some supervision to avoid this. The facility refuses to share surveillance tapes of the injuries. I gave them an opportunity for explanation and was told "We can't guarantee this won't happen again". Why not? Is Wiggly Tails staff extensively trained? Is the staff trained to handle emergencies? How do they organize dogs? by size or by play style? Are "dangerous" or aggressive dogs allowed in group play? Do they let the dogs do what they want until a fight breaks out? Is the facility more concerned with revenue than safety? Doggy daycare places will tell you that they watch the dogs and stop inappropriate behavior from happening but in most cases it's either a lie or they don't intervene until it's escalated too far. Wiggly Tails were negligent in their duty of care which led to my dog getting bitten and severely injured. There is no excuse for my poor little dog to suffer like this! My poor family has to deal with the trauma of an injured dog due to an irresponsible daycare business! Irresponsible decisions were made that lead to Bailey's injuries, and I would not want this to happen to any other pet or pet parent. Please, if you are considering a dog care facility, do not take your beloved pup to Wiggly Tails. I wanted to share my story in hopes that others who see this post will share it, and perhaps other pet parents will think twice about using Wiggly Tails.
