He was immediately taken to animal hospital and advised had to be put down for fractured back and kidney issues. When asked for an explanation Randa immediately sent a refund saying upon my request, which was just for explanation. When followed up was told I can't sue because I signed a waiver, that it was my fault for boarding an older dog and not boarded before. I never made any accusations or asked for anything but an explanation. I'm so devastated I left my pet/family member in their care.

ALSO I'm notified of this policy, 5 minutes BEFORE appointment time. If I were white would they have made an exception? I bet they would. The person at the front desk is flustered and near tears because I was rightfully upset about this. What a disappointment, inconvenience and terrible customer service. The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there. We went on a Thursday but were informed they gave different bunnies on different days so now we must come back to meet the other bunnies. I boarded my dog here for a long weekend, and unfortunately, he contracted a terrible case of kennel cough. That was bad enough, but the owner's (David Jenner's) response was the real issue--shockingly rude and dismissive. On top of that, the place has a terrible smell and just doesn't seem hygienic at all. I wouldn't risk coming back again.
