Awesome Experience!! Had my lunch delivered by a robot Today. Our pizza came hot and on time. The robot self driving vehicle pulled up and parked outside my office. We entered a code to unlock the compartment and took out our pizza (which was super delicious but i forgot to take a pic because we were so focused on the Robot) Will definitely order again. Thank you Brooklyn Pizza for making my office's day as everyone got a nice break from their day to come out and experience something new!! read more

Most authentic NY style pizza in SE Detroit MI. I lived in NYC for over 12 years. Believe. This is IT

Great pizza although I do prefer getting a slice from the already made ones so they can reheat it in the oven and have it come out nice and crispy as to ordering it fresh it is to hot and soft read more

Yikes. I'm going to try and be as honest as I can. I went on the night of the tree lighting so it was packed. I had pizza from here once before and I remember it being pretty good. They forgot a couple small things on my order (garlic knots, worth 3 bucks so not worth going back) My biggest problem was the Pizza, because it was one of the saddest pies I've eaten in a long time. It was strange because it was both undercooked and burnt at the same time. Crust (not under, but the ring around the outside was jet black and inedible). I like some char but this hit the garbage as soon as we were done with each piece. There was such flop, it was like the inside of a soft pretzel. Doughy, and just raw. I felt like I took 50 bucks and lit it on fire, this was REALLY sad. read more

Garbage honestly, can make two large pizzas with all the toppings in the world no problem but when it comes to my pizza with THREE toppings it's f**king difficult. I would not recommend this place to anybody and the bill was expensive as hell for what I even got. Not worth it at all, I wouldn't even come here for a drink of water. Get some better cooks and customer service. Thanks for not curing any type of hunger !! read more

I came in just to try a slice of their thin crust cheese and some garlic knots. The pizza itself wasn't bad, but I do wish it were a bit cheaper by the slice the way pizza is in NY. The pizza was a 7/10, they pop it in the fire for you which allows the cheese to melt again and for the crust to have a slight crispness. Not the best pizza I've had, but definitely wouldn't mind getting again. The garlic knots were a lot more enjoyable for me, a solid 8/10. I can only imagine how much more amazing they would be if they were filled with mozzarella. read more

I went with my girlfriend one evening to Brooklyn Pizza in Birmingham looking to order pizza by the slice, but only the cheese, pepperoni, and margherita were available. We ended up splitting a half Hell Boy and half pepperoni (which came out on this fabulous z-shaped split pan). I loved the Hell Boy. Would recommend, but it took awhile to come out. read more

My family and I dropped in spontaneously after going to the Birmingham Fair. We were hot, tired and needed something else to eat other than funnel cakes and fried Oreos. This place was on the way back to our car, so we gave it a shot and I'm so glad we did! The pizza is hot and fresh (we had the margherita) and the large Greek salad we shared was perfectly crisp and dressed. Everything was delicious! My husband and I both had the Watermelon Mint Mule and it was so refreshing after a long day in the sun. Definitely recommend as your go-to summer cocktail. The music was a little loud but the atmosphere is welcoming. Couldn't find a high chair, so we opted for a booster seat for our 1 year old and that didn't fare well. Just something to keep in mind if you have littles. We had gelato on our way out and it was SO GOOD - try the lemon cookie! read more

I have stopped here many times when in Birmingham and I love it every time. The pizza is good, the bar connected to it is amazing. Service is fast, nice and efficient. The only reason I knock it down one star is I wish there was more outdoor seating. But you can always take it to go and go sit at the park just a few blocks away. read more

Overall, Brooklyn Pizza has great pizza. The only reason I'm not rating it 5 stars is because the chicken wings are less than desirable. They are very fatty and subpar. Try them, you will see. They are the worst I have ever eaten. If you want a great pizza, however, you can't go wrong. There's a reason they have been at that location for so long.. read more

Great little pizza spot in Birmingham! Very large NY Style slices of pizza. They were very busy but you could choose a slice of pizza already made, or order yourself a whole pizza. The already made options were mushroom, pepperoni and cheese. We ordered the full size Buffalo Chicken and it was very good! Full of flavor with some kick from the Buffalo Sauce. We also shared slices of the Mushroom and my Son picked the Cheese Pizza slice. They do have a nice size full bar, where we ordered wine & beer from and then sat outside. Great Pizzeria! Staff were friendly and accommodating too. read more

Do yourself a favor and get the pepperoni Nothing to edit Nothing to add It was great Huge slice Thin pizza Everything that Brooklyn offers but in Birmingham Oh and the Saturday night staff was great our pizza was ready in approx 15 mins and was hot read more

This place is so disappointing now. It was so much better years ago. They hardly have any slices available. Prices are ridiculous. I ordered in store 30 min ago and it still needs an additional 10 min for two pizzas, a small and large?? People who came in after me are walking out with pizzas. Workers are rude. Don't wear gloves. Tables are gross, as others have mentioned. Not sanitary at all. Also, refused to make the small pizza (for my grandma) a little bit thicker when they literally open the dough by hand. Yes, you can do it. You just don't want to bother telling the pizza guy to. Lazy and rude. Pizza was also better years ago. Not worth it. read more

As a Boss and CEO I simply cannot recommend this establishment. I came in with a group of fellow bosses and ceo's and we were berated for partaking in communal laughter by a man in a camo hat. we were told to be quiet and that this establishment was not a "chuck e cheese"... well obviously they have better pizza. this was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. i'm not sure if this man has never experienced joy but this is not how you cope. I truly feel bad for this man. A quick "hey can you quiet down" would've been adequate instead of the humiliating comment given to us. This is a sign of a bitter insecure man. God bless! read more

Overall okay, not great. The crust on their pizza has a nice char to it but the dough isn't flavorful like the sourdough type dough that better pizza places use. Not sure what they are doing here but the pizza is very bland and unexciting. Way too many pizza places out there so I won't bother with this one again if I'm in the area. read more

I was in Birmingham and in the mood for pizza and have had several people suggest this place so I decided to check it out for lunch. I ordered it online which was super easy and everything was very customizable. I love when places allow you to customize your food online! It was estimated my order would be ready by 11:30 and when I got there it was ready 5 minutes early so I was happy about that! Their slices are NY style. I was super happy with my cheese slice of pizza. Everything from the cook of the pizza, to the way the ingredients were distributed and the taste were excellent!! I was highly impressed with not only the service but the covid precautions being taken as well as the excellent tasting pizza!! I will definitely be a returning customer!! Delicious pizza and great service! The ambiance is also very nice with seats by the window facing Woodward Ave :)

The pizza here is excellent and service was professional & straightforward. They handle a huge turnover with very long lines, especially on the weekends and nights ... But the management really has to get with the program and get rid of all the Styrofoam cups that they use at their water cooler. Most every dining establishment now in Birmingham uses recyclable paper products or compostable plastic for their takeout containers which is a great example to follow for this affluent community. The styrofoam was piling up after most customers we saw only take a sip or two & then threw their cup awayand that is so environmentally irresponsible!!! read more

Just ordered a 10 pizza. special request for olive oil base. I try pizza's everywhere I go and especially wood fired. this one was THE BEST pizza I have ever had. Phenomenal. I've been coming to this place for 15 years and it never disappoints! Great selection of pizza and ice cream.

The pizzas were pretty good, but I can't give more than four stars because of the price. Two large pizzas cost $43 with tip. One pizza had pepperoni, ham & red peppers and the other had black olives on the whole thing and pepperoni on one half. They brought the pizzas out to my car when I parked in the alley, which was nice and the employees were friendly and helpful. But, there are so many great pizza places in the Detroit-Metro area, which means it's impossible to eat pizza without comparing it to other places. We usually go to Crispelli's, but we recently got annoyed with how incredibly greasy their pizzas have been during our last three visits. So, we decided to try Brooklyn Pizza. Brooklyn delivered in regards to the grease level-almost no grease, which was awesome. The crust was thin, which we loved, but it was not crispy. It was odd that one of our pizzas had a blackened crust on the bottom, but it still had no crisp. The sauce had a nice tomato flavor with a hint of herbs, so it was tasty. The cheese was of great quality, but we wanted it to have a little brown on it. The toppings tasted fresh-great quality on the pepperoni and ham and the red pepper had a nice sweetness. The black olives were also delicious. It was a good experience, but I don't think the value was there. read more

Ordered for the first time a large Brooklyn pizza and large greek salad, they told me 45 minutes and i was there in 40. The last time we went into this spot was before the pandemic started and they forgot half the other, even with us sitting there. Tonight, on my birthday, we decided to give them another chance. Big mistake! It's been almost hour and a half since we order and we just got a call saying they don't have the garlic knots we ordered. I feel bad for the delivery kid, as he has to deal with angry customers and apologize for things that are not even his fault. Pizza was ok, definitely not with the 90 min wait and hassle. read more

Just always consistent pizza, and the small bar area and couple TVs is a great addition to hang.

I used to come here a lot when they did their $1 Mondays back in the day ($1 pizza slices), but they discontinued that so I haven't been here in a few years. I got a mailer from them a few months ago with a scratch and win thing, and I won a large cheese pizza, so I went here yesterday to get that. The pizza was pretty good, there's not a lot of places that do thin crust (NY style) in this area. The restaurant itself is small but they have indoor and outdoor seating. I can't speak as to the prices but I remember they were usually pretty high, they have a Troy location too and I'm not sure if those would be lower or not. But the pizza itself is good. read more

Loved the pizza at this place. Great ingredients which makes a great pie. Thin crust, sweet sauce, wonderful cheese and choice pepperoni.

We raised our kids on Brooklyn Pizza! It was literally the first solid that they ate as we cut the crust off and let them gnaw on it while teething. Visiting today after moving to Virginia 7 years ago to find that it remains the best pizza and ice cream I've ever had. The "Big Chill" ice cream (former owner, Mike, was friends with Lawrence Kasdan and got permission to use the name) is made on the premises and puts all other homemade ice cream to shame. My son talks of nothing else but having their Blue Moon ice cream during the long drive in from DC. To top it all off, Sam greets me like an old friend as we walk in the door. Personality and quality make this a required stop every trip back home. read more

We were walking around Birmingham on a beautiful Saturday and stopped in for quick bite. It was very busy!! We got a few slices and sat outside. We had the pepperoni and buffalo chicken pizza.
