The hostess didn't understand how to seat customers in an empty room, she told me it would be a 2 hour wait?? Yes, there was lots of people waiting but the dining room was almost empty. She was too young very unprofessional. I watched her from our two top trying to seat a 10 people at a six top. I went to a table near the bar and seated myself on a two top and the bartender was glad to see me! The food was horrible. My husband order hash and had to ask for poached eggs instead of scrambled eggs. Who has ever had heard of scrambled eggs on hash?? But the small amount of hash was hard to find under a huge amount of scalloped potatoes and lots of bacon? I think they need to rename this dish. I wouldn't even start on my entire as I took one bite and didn't even eat another. The ambiance was cheaply decorated with Ross wall hangings, old dated table and chairs so I would say there was no ambiance. It was like a Dennys but with a cuter name, but names don't make a place. Walked in at about 11:15am and waited about 5 minutes. Nice place and huge! Had to check out the new spot in one of my favorite small town. Greeted wirh a smile and the iwnwr Roy came out to welcome us and to Thank us for coming, that's what i like, and my fsther was surprised to get a free waffel card! I love seeing my father smile. My 86 year old dad orderd the machaca with corn tortillas and i git the chicken and waffel benedicts This place is busy busy!!! Strongly recommend getting on their waitlist as soon as you are heading that way as it was over 45 mins for a table of 4 at around noon on a Sunday (although they had a great waiting area outside). We were passing through Yuma on our way to San Diego. We saw this place on Yelp and it was close to our hotel so we decided to give it a shot. We got there early on a Sunday morning (around 8:15) and were seated immediately. Our server, Benjamin, greeted us with a smile and took our drink order. We both ordered coffee. A runner brought our coffee and waters. Benjamin returned and took our food order. We split the Fiesta Burrito and a bowl of fresh fruit. They brought the burrito already split. Awesome!! It was full of fresh ingredients and just the right amount of spicy. The fruit was ripe and fresh also. We had a wonderful and fresh breakfast and Benjamin was awesome. By the time we left there were lots of people waiting. It's definitely a hot spot. As far as the coffee goes, it wasn't our favorite. Horrible service, my family and I when to have breakfast. They served us yesterday left over rice and old avocados paste. The avocados color was black. The eggs were cold and the salad was old. The server never offer us any support or let us talk to the manager about our food. She told us next time to let her know sooner. We just want to pay and leave. The Belgian Waffle I ordered was light and fluffy on the inside with just the right amount of crispiness on the outside, and the flavor reminded me of scratch buttermilk pancakes. Price $11. I thought the coffee was a little bitter for my palate, but Max liked his. My second cup was the same as the first, so I'm assuming it was freshly brewed. I added another cream and it was fine. Indeed, over the leisurely course of our meal, we each drank several cups. Two mugs of endless coffee was $7. The menu offerings looked good. To be sure, I will return for another helping of Belgian Waffle, and also to sample the Monte Cristo and the various Eggs Benedict selections. Ahmazing doesn't begin to cut it. It deserves its title of Beat Breakfast and Lunch spot. Hands down the King of the desert and probably dessert too. I had their iced dirty chai latte. Fresh spices perfect mix of caffeine and deliciousness. I was able to order a duo Benedict 1chicken and waffles and 1 Sopa Benedict since I could not decide between the two. My honey had the Triple French Toast with three different roasts and he could not pick a favorite either. Excellent service and friendly staff. The BEST!!! We will be back.
