    Wings, nachos, and pretzel bites

Wanted to watch UFC with a couple of buddies, so we checked out Broken Barrel Bar. The food was pretty good for bar food. We got the wings, fries, nachos, and pretzel nuggets. The wings weren't anything special in my opinion, but I did really enjoy the pretzel bites. They had a lot of cheese and came with two dipping sauces. The nachos and fries were really flavorful as well! The prices are a little expensive for what you get in terms of portions, but they all tasted pretty delicious. The service was great! Our server was very nice, and she always made sure to check in on us every few minutes. We did the bottomless mimosas for $25 per person, so she was always coming by to help refill out drinks. The ambiance gives like a college town bar vibe, and it was pretty packed on the day we went. There's a ton of seating, but I just wish we had a bigger table. We got seated at a really small one for 3 people, but I'm glad they seated us right away.

Ooooo baby! Broken Barrel is a great place to hang for sports games. They were even kind enough to put on the can't-catch-a-break Husker football team on their TVs. Wings came out hot and fast. Buffalo sauce was a bit vinegary for my personal taste. The wings were actually a 2/5 for me but I believe a place is more than one entree. Cheese curds were good :) Our server Donna was great and made sure we never went wanting! The drinks were flowing.

What a great neighborhood bar! They have an amazing happy hour from 4-6 and then also have daily deals almost every night! My friends and I went for Tuesday night trivia and arrived early to take advantage of the happy hour deals. We got the hummus plate, cauliflower bites, and nachos! I wasn't expecting much for the food, but honestly it was surprisingly very tasty! You could tell the hummus was house-made and they had a great assortment of veggies on the side. On Tuesday nights (trivia) they also have a $5 margarita deal. Definitely a marg mix, but still a great deal! Our server was very attentive for happy hour, but after it got busy for trivia it took awhile to put an order in. Nonetheless, everything came out delish, and will definitely be returning (especially for trivia redemption)!

Wings Rating: 3.7/5. Delicious smoked wings. They have a great variety of flavor options. I like that you can mix and match flavors for every 4 wings.

Amazing place with lots of TVs, plenty of light and welcoming atmosphere. Brunch deal is also something you cannot miss - bottomless mimosas is a way to go. And there's no doubt the wings are award winning- with plethora of delicious sauces to choose from. Service is impeccable and the drinks, well, Pom Pom spritz has my heart forever.

The hummus plate was good - the hummus was a little standard (still tasty) but the ricotta on top helped set it apart. The garlic buffalo wings were delicious. The biggest issue is we were there to watch the game and we were seated upstairs. we had to ask several servers to turn on the sound upstairs (they kept telling us it was on and it clearly wasn't) and it got so dang hot up there we were fanning ourselves with the menus. Food was good but man I wish we'd have been downstairs, would have been a much more pleasant evening.

Great local spot. Food is solid. And all is well - as long as you sit by the bar. If you ask for a table - expect service to be horrible. Every time you have to ask someone to take your order, and they never check in on you once food arrives. Every single time. I love the place but would stick to the bar.

a chill casual sports bar, good wing selection but nothing to write home about. Waitress brought us a dirty glass for beer and had to be reminded multiple times for dipping sauce

So good! Ordered a bunch of apps (cheese curds, sweet tots, 2 pretzels, truffle fries and a variety of brunch entrees (breakfast burrito, smoked salmon plate and he salad). I didn't love the salmon on the smoked salmon plate as it was way too dry but everything else was good! It was march madness so packed but the service was decent. Do get on the waitlist beforehand!

Amazing food and plenty of TVs which makes this a great game day spot. Service was a tad slow but it was very very busy when I went so take that with a grain of salt. The outdoor space is great for the summer and please try their wings (10/10)

Best local bar in Chicago. Has a back patio and great food. Everything is house made and reasonable pricing. My favorite is their Mac and cheese with crispy chicken/buffalo cauliflower

The espresso martini was good, they have cocktail and both non-local and local beer options. The food looked really good but we didn't get any when we went. There are TVs all over. The patio is a great place to sit in the nice weather, and a grassy area to hang out, have kids play, or bring your dog(s). The bathroom was super cool, the back wall was a whole row of windows looking over the street and all the bars. Had a fun Nashville vibe!

We came in around 1:15am, thinking this would be a cool bar to end the night. The first bartender informed us that last call was approaching. We only wanted one round, so we immediately closed out after ordering. That bartender was very attentive and pleasant during the entire transaction. At 1:50am, the other bartender (who wasn't even serving us/hadn't spoke to us) came over and said we needed to start chugging. Her words: "I'm not going to tell you to get the f* out, but you need to chug". She kept telling us we needed to chug, and I kindly told her I wasn't chugging anything because we already paid and I can literally just leave. She brought up the bar closing soon (we already heard the very loud announcement for last call). She proceeded to blame it on having a bad day. Mind you, someone next to me literally just came in, and was being served. She tried to back out of it and kept repeating we'll know when it's time to go. I'm not sure what kind of establishment this is, but she didn't say anything to anyone else but us, the only two Black women at the bar at the time. I don't understand why she felt like it was okay to direct her "bad day" at us, sitting there calmly with two half drunken beers, while there were plenty of other people still up and active at the bar. The behavior displayed, completely unacceptable.
