Service was ok. Greeting sub par. Music was really bad and loud. Like if I made this playlist it would literally be, top 50 most annoying songs in the US. We couldn't talk inside cause it was sooo loud, so we moved outside. The table outside, one side felt like I was in a high chair. They put a pad on the cement enclosure of the patio, but it's so high my thighs touch the table. It made me extra tall at the table next to my already Short King. The burger was solid AF. The poutine fries were good, but only came with a drop of gravy. But the gravy I did have taste like KFC gravy. Which was kind of nostalgic. That actually pumped this up to a three. They don't have Mayo. I like Mayo on my burger. The food is not bad, but won't be coming back cause everything else was lacking. AND $100 for two drinks and two burgers. At this price point we expected better.

I can't to Broderick for HH with my family. We were greeted and seating immediately with menus and water. Our server came to our table to do last call. We order buffalo cauliflower, cosmos, and house margaritas, veggie rolls, bao mi taco and grilled fish tacos. On the regular menu we ordered, ducks burger, turkey burger and Johnny Cash burger, Pinot Noir and tequila shots and banana pudding. Our food was delicious and the service was good. Their restaurant isn't very big as I expected, but people were seated in a timely manner. I would come back again. :)

Came for HH 2:30-5:30. Prices in the menu below. Staff friendly. Ordered the house red wine $6. Merlot-decent pour. The banh mi tacos $8 and trio sliders $13 were pretty good. Average noise. A good place for HH in Walnut Creek.

The restaurant its self is so cool inside, it's always a great atmosphere, and the staff is nice, however the reason why I did not give it 5 stars was the service. When I had gone it wasn't busy but we had to flag down our server a few times to get some simples things like silverware and napkins. However the food was so good. The burger itself was so juicy and cooked just perfectly. They also have really good pickles if you care and the sweet potatoes fries were just right! They do also have adult milkshakes (alcohol) I don't have a picture of it but they are so good, definitely a must try!

Mmmm...if you want an excellent burger, this is the place. This is the second time that I've been here when I was in the area and this time I tried the Johnny Cash burger- beef patty (cooked medium to my liking), white cheddar, thick applewood bacon, pickled sweet peppers, and homemade bbq sauce, and fried onion crisps. This type of burger is my go-to and I wasn't disappointed. So good and I didn't even request most bbq sauce because it was flavorful enough and not dry (like others make it). My friend got the grilled fish tacos and enjoyed them. Looked delicious and he was satisfied. We were seated quickly at the bar to watch the playoffs and all the servers were checking on us pretty regularly. We were well taken care of. Excellent place to go all around and we will come back when we're back in the area.

It was the best burger I have tasted in a while! Really appreciate the staff really know about allergies. I asked for gluten free options and they were able to tell me the fryers were shared so it won't be good for Celiac ppl. I got Johnny Cash, substitute with gluten free bun ($1) and vegan cheese ($2). The burger was very tasty. I will definitely be back!

Went on Friday afternoon with BB and made it just in time for happy hour around 2:30. Started with an ice-cold Corona for $7, which always hits. I ordered my usual, the Johnny Cash burger -- cheddar, applewood smoked bacon, onion rings, and BBQ sauce. I asked for the BBQ and chili slaw on the side and the patty cooked well done. Tastes good every time. The fries were crispy, well seasoned, and exactly what they should be. BB ordered her usual as well, the Gold Rush burger, which comes topped with mac and cheese, cheddar, and bacon -- pretty sure the mac and cheese is the real reason she orders it. Service was good and efficient, even though it was crowded as usual. Food came out quickly. Parking can be hectic, so plan ahead. Overall, worth it. Will definitely be back.

My boyfriend talked me into coming here for lunch one day and told me about the banh mi fries. Told me to keep an open mind, it is not banh mi and just wow! It was delicious, definitely not banh mi but it has the flavor! Really surprised! Everything we ordered was delicious. Our waitress was in training and she was the sweetest! Will definitely come back to try more items on the menu and get the banh mi fries again :).

Come here if you're craving a hearty meal! The patriot burger is a MUST-TRY. Stay with me here: creamy peanut butter, spicy jam on a bacon burger with fried onion curls. The perfect mix of lightly sweet and savory with a crunch! We came here on a busy Sunday with the restaurant packed already, and we got seated right away inside, which I appreciated because it was a full 50 degrees cold out. Both the burgers and the restaurant feel upscale and creative. Leather booth seating and high bar stools are available. The menu has diverse options, so we opted to try the patriot burger with banh mi fries, the bbq Mac and cheese burger with garlic fries, and a creamsicle milkshake. Our waiter was impressively attentive with coming by often to check on us.

An average burger/sandwich place. I ordered the fish sandwich. It was $21, but the fish is very thin! The taste is ok, a lot of fries. And don't call normal fries "naked fries"! Call it what they are, FRIES!! Don't reinvent the wheel! And the fires are very dry. Anyway the sandwich is ok, just too small fish bread ratio. The service is nice, place is lively. Won't visit again though! Plenty of other better places nearby!

Stopped by Broderick in Walnut Creek and had a great experience. We sat at the bar and were quickly served a Mule Kick (perfect ginger bite) and an Irish coffee that was smooth and well-balanced. For lunch, I had the Old School Burger, was cooked perfectly and paired with their house-made pickles. My partner ordered the Turkey Bacon Burger, and the Applewood smoked bacon was tasty and crunchy. Even though the place was busy, the staff was attentive and clearly working hard, which showed in the quality of the food and drinks. Overall, an exceptional visit, definitely be back!

I've been coming here since 2022, and they still have the best lamb burger I've ever had! I usually stick to the same order, and it's always consistently delicious and flavorful. Service is fast and welcoming every time I walk through the door, which I really appreciate. They also have a bar area where you can sit, eat, grab a drink, and watch the game or just unwind after a long day.

Chilaquiles - not good
Chastity V.

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing on an off day, but brunch here missed the mark for me. Starting with service - while it was nice that we were seated within 10 minutes, no one came to take our order. After patiently waiting for 15 minutes, I had to flag down a server to take our order. We shared the bacon mac & cheese (3/5) as a starter which was poorly presented (looked very unappealing) and disappointing in taste. I got the chilaquiles (3/5) which were bland and not good. I regret my order and wish I had tried their burger. We were considering dessert when looking at the menu, but after the food was so disappointing, we got the check so we could get dessert elsewhere. I won't come back for brunch, but I might give their burger a chance in the future since people seem to like them.

Can we make a reservation!?

No. But usually won't need them, staff is great at turning tables. If you're in a time crunch, you order online for pickup on their website.

Do they still have the chopped cheese?

Yes we do.

I thought the duck burger wasnt served anymore . Is it on the menu all the time now?

Unless something recently changed, it’s always been available

Do you have gluten free bread and/or buns?

Yes

Is there an area to eat and bring your dog?

There is a outside area where you can eat

Can you eat off the regular menu during brunch hours?

Yes, absolutely !

Do you serve only the brunch menu during brunch weekend hours or is the other menu available also?

Brunch menu is available weekends only!

Do they have an option to make a reservation?

Yes, I called in for a reservation.

Do they have bottomless mimosas?

Unfortunately no. They have a good selection of drinks but no bottomless mimosas. My best friend and I love bottomless mimosas for brunch. Otherwise it's a great place to go.

Do they have a kids menu?

Yes they have a kids menu and it's very simplistic. I hope this helps. RR-:)

Do you have any vegan burgers?

Yes

How many TVs?

4 TVs total. 2 at the bar, one in the corner, and a smaller one near the entrance. If you are coming to watch a game, the bar would be the best place to sit because it's hard to watch those TVs if you are sitting anywhere else.

I see that they have gluten free buns. Are all of their fries gluten free also?

Double check with your server, but I think most - but not all - of the fries are gluten free. The Poutine Fries are definitely not gluten free because of the gravy, but most everything else should be safe.

Peanut allergy friendly?

Yes it is

Do they re-fill growlers?

No. Only breweries can fill growlers and they don't brew their own beer. Calicraft is currently the only place to get growlers filled in Walnut Creek.

Moved out here recently and just happened to stumble upon the name and immediately had to get my hands in this burger. It did not disappoint! It's so hard to find a tasty veggie burger that's not dried out with a nasty after taste. This my friends, is an absolute MUST!! The quinoa and brown rice are cooked to perfection and for the most part, the patty keeps it shape. Plus the outside is just slightly crispy, giving the patty a good crunch! This paired with their side salad was enough to satisfy my decades long craving!! As always, this place has plenty of seating inside and out. I usually order the cod sandwich, and they assured me that it's not cooked in tallow, actually they said it's cooked in olive oil which I'm not sure is correct, but at any rate I didn't taste any beef fat and it was delicious. Also, I have enjoyed their shakes made with cashew milk in the past, but now they use something different, and they still taste pretty good. What the employees on duty told me conflicts with the website, but they said this location uses Oatley oat milk, and they actually showed me the carton to prove it. Now for the service, the man taking my order seemed new as he didn't know much, but was able to answer my questions by asking the manager on duty, which I appreciated. Also he got my shake order wrong but apologized multiple times and got me the correct one. Since I couldn't order fries or onion rings I wanted a side salad, but unfortunately they were out of it! So a questionable experience overall, and I may choose to dine somewhere different next time as there are many restaurants in this strip-mall location, plus Whole Foods across the street. As far as ambiance, they have ample indoor seating and a nice outdoor patio with music, which is partly sunshine, partly shade, and of course popular with dogs and their owners.

Cons - No employee approached a male dog owner over his pit bull excessively howling / yelping over another dog. A couple yelps, fine. It kept going, it was loud, the silver-haired Boomer was taking his sweet time to ( not ) control his dog with respect to other people in the patio area. So, dogs are preferred over people, no one on staff to politely ask the man to control the dog immediately? One more thing: the barking was such a nuisance that I and another customer were looking back at the owner to see if he was taking care of it, the customer quipped about the dog going to be attacking him, if anything, I joked that I'd be fine, he then suddenly held up the numbered signage for his order ( w/ metal stand ) saying he was going to hit me with it. ( No light-hearted tone, moreso irritated and aggressive. ) And this is how suddenly bad things happen, how a customer spews out a verbal threat ( technically criminal assault ), linked to an out-of-control situation with a pet owner and his dog and a restaurant that won't do anything about it. Simple Solution: Train employees ( or remind them ) to assertively and cordially request owners to keep their dogs peaceful and quiet. Otherwise, it's sweeping a problem under the rug. Not smart nor respectful of other customers. Being Fair: If you like the energy of a loud restaurant, whether it's music and/or dogs barking, then you should be fine, drinks and all. If you love dogs, yet want them responsibly controlled in an environment where you seek to maintain an actual meaningful conversation, this establishment is a roll of the dice.

The noise was a bit loud that I felt I had to almost yell to have a conversation with my husband. But the vibe was great. I enjoyed looking around at the decor. We ordered: - TRUFFLE FRIES for appetizers - I loved everything about it. haha. Tastey! - linguine & clams - I ordered this. It was good. However, I felt it was way oily. What I don't understand is why I'm charged an additional $2.50 for the lettuce wrap when I'm not even getting the bun. If you're taking something away, what's the justification for adding an extra charge? I could understand a modest upcharge, but $2.50 for a few leaves of lettuce is hard to justify. I can buy an entire head of lettuce for about that price. What bothered me even more was that no one mentioned the charge when I placed my order. It wasn't until I picked up my food and saw the receipt that I realized I had been charged extra. Customers deserve to know about additional charges before they order, not after the fact. When I politely asked why there was a $2.50 charge, the employee simply looked at me and said, "I don't know." There was no explanation, no offer to ask someone else, and no attempt to address a perfectly reasonable question. That level of customer service was just as disappointing as the surprise charge. The burger was excellent, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. At this point, I don't plan on coming back. Or maybe I'll just bring my own lettuce next time. Better yet, just give me the burger without the bun, and I'll wrap the damn thing myself when I get home.
