Ted's just tastes like home! Was recently home for a visit and made sure Ted's was on the top of my…read morelist. I got to sneak in a visit twice. I sure do crave a good charcoal burger and am wondering why it hasn't taken off in SoCal yet, would be perfect for a quick, easy beach meal! I noticed a lot of new menu items, but this time stuck to my tried and true chicken sandwich and fries order while I am only in town for a short bit but next time I will venture out and try one of the new fries options. I also appreciate the points system, I was able to get $5 off my order this time. The chicken sandwich was fresh tasting and light, and the kids meal is awesome for my daughter, hot dog fries and a drink. I went in between typical busy hours and the wait was less than ten mins, but can see how it would get really busy, but good food is always worth the wait. Lot's of parking and seating inside and outside! Until next time Ted's, I miss you always.

When I'm in town, I try to swing by for one of their wonderful, make to order hot dogs. They'll cook it to your liking, e.g., I get mine pretty charred, keep the toppings simple + extra dill pickles (see pics). However, you can choose from a long list of options. I washed it down with their classic loganberry drink. Yes, they have malt vinegar for your fries too! Inside dining area is good sized and simple/utilitarian, with everything you need.

How good can a hot dog be? Well, pretty great as it turns out…read more Frank was one of the first food trucks to hit the streets in WNY and their longevity can be directly attributed to the quality of their product as well as their great menu options. They constantly change their menu, so there are always great surprises to be found. Some of the stand-outs are: The Hells Kitchen which has spicy mustard, kraut and NYC onion sauce. The Hogtied - bacon wrapped dog w/ BBQ sauce, shredded cheddar & a nest of crispy fried onions. Modern Chicago - tomato jam, mustard & house-pickled peppers. Aside from all of the condiments and toppings they use, what really stands out is the link itself. They told me that they work with a local farm to produce their pasture raised pork & beef links. There link is all meat - no fillers, artificial flavors or nitrates (to keep hot dogs a nice color, most producers use pink salt which contain carcinogenic nitrates - they use natural celery powder which is more expensive but well worth it). The result is a very juicy hot dog with a great SNAP to it and lots of flavor. It's pretty impressive that not only do they make their links and most of their toppings, but they even make their own hot-dog buns! I've been to a lot of food trucks and sadly, the majority of them are just buying frozen products and throwing them in the deep fryer for you. Meanwhile, these guys are cutting potatoes and twice-frying them for their hand-cut fries. For $4, you get a big, 1/2lb pile of restaurant-quality fries. Try them with one of their specialty fry-dips like malt vinegar & sea salt aioli. All-in-all, they are a bit more expensive than what you would get from other hot dog options in the area. But when you consider the amount of work and expense it must take them to make their own links & buns, pickle their own vegetables, make their own sauces, cut their own fries, I'd say it's worth the splurge. For less than $10, you can get one of their standard toppings dogs and a order of their hand-cut fries - not a bad lunch at all.

Absolutely delicious hot dogs with fun specialty dogs. It was hard to decide on what to order since…read morethe sandwiches also sounded amazing! I got the impractical dog and a classic dog. Both came out super fast and piping hot. Will definitely be going back to try more!
