Chicken Pad See Ew was one of the best I've had. Chicken was tender and sauce was perfect. Fresh ingredients and tasty flavor. I prefer to have Chinese broccoli instead of regular broccoli in my Thai food, but this did not change how much I loved this dish. We love the cucumber salad and the avocado spring rolls are always with fresh avocados that's a plus because a just ok avocado can take over in taste so they must have a avocado tree back there. We are always greeted by a middle aged Asian man and it's nice because he smiles more when he remembers the customers so we feel like very considered, Thank you. It can get crowded but it never feels like you don't have privacy at your table it's very quaint. I always order vegetable pineapple rice because I'm a vegetarian and they helped me to combine two dishes to make a vegetarian dish but they also have other vegetarian dishes I just love pineapple rice . My husband always gets orange chicken and it looks delicious you can't tell they lightly batter the chicken and it looks like your mom made the dish because it's made with love & smells amazing, if I ate chicken I would get this meal . He also gets the coconut shrimp and again they look lightly battered and you can smell the fresh coconut they use in the batter, I can't eat them but they smell amazing, if I weren't a vegetarian I would indulge. I ordered carry out--the beef dish and glass noodle with vegetables. They both tasted exactly the same. The glass noodles were a really small portion with not many noodles. The beef was pretty good but a small portion as well. They put a lot of the baby corn in as a filler which didn't taste very good and I threw them away. After finally trying this place for the first time (it's 2 blocks from my home), what struck me was how fresh the food and its ingredients are. I tried the sesame chicken; my wife settled for chicken fried rice. Although the sesame chicken wasn't quite as spicy as in other Chinese restaurants, the vegetables were crispy and fresh, and the chicken (fried in tempura) was tender and not overcooked. And the fried rice was pretty typical...not much different from other places we tried. The servers try their best to please and they succeed; service was top-rate. Seating is fairly limited but clean and they have a limited booze menu. Parking is available either at the back of the building or in the municipal parking lot next to the village hall. If you live in the Schiller Park/Franklin Park area, give Broccoli a try, you won't be disappointed. read more
