Despite its fantastic location Broadway Station Apartments are by far one of the noisiest places I have ever lived. Located on 38th avenue across the street from the Myrtle Beach fire house we are constantly badgered with street noise. The landscape and well kept common areas are a nice spot to relax, besides the CONSTANT sound of weed wackers, lawn mowers, leaf blowers and maintenance workers that generally start promptly around 9 am on MONDAY mornings. Since we have lived at Broadway Station they have replaced the roof, the parking lot black top, the deck, and landing areas, which is great, but has caused many disturbances to us in our cozy apartment by the beach. The HOA at Broadway Station is consistent in searching out things to fine you for, such as a pair of shoes left outside your own door, or a towel hanging over your own balcony, or even choosing not to have toxic "pest" control sprayed in your home. Security at Broadway Station is a wonderful addition and does make us feel safe, except for the security gate/key card entry which is broken for 8 months out of the year and only runs on the weekends or odd days, you never know at this place! On the bright side, the pool area is wonderful, with plenty of seating, grills and even a nice hot tub. The exercise facility is very small and can only fit 2-3 people in there at a time. The laundry is nice and conveniently located in the "pool house". Over all It is very nice to have a view of a beautiful pond instead of just a parking lot and we always catch a glimpse of the stunning South Carolina sunsets. Broadway Station is a nice place to live if you don't mind never having a moment of peace and quiet. read more
