My family and I rented a house from Williamson Realty Vacations for the week of 7/1 through 7/8. We have used Williamson for the last 3 years and found them to be very efficient and helpful. We have stayed in Island Condo - 001 - 75 W1 - Bradshaw 75 West First St three or four other times in last 12 years. It's our go-to preferred place to stay in OIB. It must have changed ownership and rental company management several times. The updates done recently are really nice; it's much more modern and clean-feeling now. Unit is very small. Perfect for retired couple like us. Would be cramped with any more than 2 people. It's right on beach with modern deck and shared gazebo. Unit was very clean. Modern kitchen. Pots and pans. Dishwasher. Microwave. A coffeemaker/ Keurig combo you can use either. HVAC worked great! Of course no washer/dryer there is just not enough room. And bathroom is small, too. But no issues with unit at all and we're picky! We would have appreciated an option to include sheets and towels. Bringing our own is a hassle. In years past they were included. But biggest issue is not including any paper products as in paper towels or toilet paper. That's ridiculous. For less than $15 you can stock unit with 12 rolls of quality TP and 3 rolls of quality paper towels. if we don't bring any, and arrive late in evening and don't have time to goto store first or don't bring them with us, we don't have any TP or paper products that night. Heck for $15 you can include a pack of napkins, too. We're spending $1,500+ on a 7 day rental - including TP, paper towels, and napkins isn't too much to ask. read more

Stayed at the Windjammer in unit 2-D the last week of July 2022 for a family reunion. Unit 1-D below was rented by family members from Williamson as well. Immediately upon arriving we both had to call the office and request a cleaning crew to return...floors not swept/vacuumed or mopped, visible sand and crumbs on furniture, and the kitchen/bathrooms needed further cleaning. Also had to request new pillows for all beds, as they were yellow, stained and very very old and flat. Both units 1-D and 2-D are in desperate need of a deep cleaning, washing of bed bankets/quilts and pillow shams (no idea when that was last done), the furniture upholstery needs vacuumed, steam cleaned and probably stain repellant, and the table/chairs/bar stools along with kitchen cabinets need to be cleaned and "stickiness" removed. Compared to the other 2 units our family had rented at Windjammer for the same week (from a different company) 1-D and 2-D pale in comparison. However, the Williamson office staff were extremely polite, courteous and very helpful!! They called to make sure the keyless entry worked ok for us, and did immediately sent a cleaning crew and delivered new pillows when we called to report the problems with our units. The check-in and check-out process was very easy and the email/text communication was very helpful. read more

This is really 3 1/2 stars and the only reason it's not more is because of the roaches and fire ants in the condo. I know the bugs come out in September but all the more reason to be on top of it. All 3 families staying do not have those in their homes The condo was lovely and we have a wonderful time! I WOULD suggest better photos of the condo and especially the pool. Great location on Ocean front and walking distance to restaurants and bars was super! View is spectacular. Unit was comfortable. Odd to only have a small TV in the living room and no other room given the rate we paid compared to other location rentals and noticed mainly due to the weather. Deck not at all attractive given the number of bugs covering the screens and furniture, not on the beach or at the pool. Pool area is nice and private from the beach. Worse thing is the ridiculous 9:00 AM checkout. read more

Williamson absolutely saved our vacation. After an unfortunate turn of events at a nearby beach, with a terrible rental company, we called Williamson rather desperate. They found a place for us within the hour, gave us a lovely welcome packet, and could not have been nicer. Robin and Summer were both SO helpful! My family haven't been able to take a vacation in 16 years and when it was time to finally take one we went with Williams reality the house we picked out was nice on the Outside the pool was ok bedside the fact we cleaned it ourselves. The downstairs bed had bed bugs in it. When they came to the house we were told that it would take up to 7 hours to get the house cleaned and that was only if they could find someone to come out because it was Saturday. My family really couldn't rest because of the bed bugs. I feel like for 3000 they could have showed that they were concerned as well. read more

After being locked up at home for 6 months due to COVID I needed this trip to the beach. Renting the place on-line was great. Arrived at the Place on the Beach II to discover the AC was not working. A repairman showed up, evidently Williamson was made aware of the issue, by previous renter, and sent the repairman. He said he could not replace the filter because the washer and dryer were in the way and he left. After the condo got to 80 degrees I called Williamson emergency number and the gentleman showed up and replaced the filter. When I woke in the morning it was back up to 77 degrees. So I called again. While we were out someone came and did the repairs to the AC and when they left, left the door unlocked. The next morning the plumber showed up to fix the washer leak. I asked if they could wait till we got out (15 minutes) and of course they just kept working. And they showed up without masks. REALLY!!!! I know the place is older but it really could use a real cleaning. Not just the bare minimum. The outside of the fridge looked like the grease was just smeared around, hair (not mine) hanging on the shower walls, dust hanging off the air ducts. Looked like blood on the pillow covers (glad I came with my own). Will never go back to Place on the Beach II. read more

When one house needed updating, Williamson encouraged me to send them an email to forward to the homeowners--and updates were made! While we rarely have any problems while we are there, problems are quickly resolved when we do report them. read more

I booked a property in Ocean Isle Beach through Williamson Realty and my interactions with Williamson Realty were excellent. I was able to book my property online with ease. When I had to shift my reservation by one day, they were able to do so without any pushback. I also asked for a late checkout since no one was checking in during our check out day and they were able to give us one extra hour. The blender in my property wasn't working and they replaced it immediately. There was an issue with the dishwasher that they weren't able to resolve during my stay. And the property where I stayed (Anna's Eventually) was not an acceptable rental property in my opinion. read more

Rented a 5 bedroom house through them. We rented it 2 years ago with no problems. This year, house was clean and mostly in good shape. Air Conditioning was woefully inadequate. Downstairs unit struggled to lower the temp by 10 degrees: not good when it's 97 outside. Upstairs unit did OK at night- getting down to 70, 78 during the day. We called and complained and they sent techs to charge the coolant. Didn't help. We called again and were told the downstairs unit was too old to do any better and gave us some fans. We ended up buying a $400 portable AC unit to help the downstairs. A bit much when you pay $3000 a week for the rental. read more

I stayed at Starboard by The Sea (second row) and honestly nothing really to complain about. We stayed a week in August at 267 West 2nd; the condo was well stocked with items that vacationers would usually forget and access to the beach and pool was easy and no hassle to get to. When arriving to pick up the key, the staff was very friendly and let my family check in early, most places in my experience will make you wait like Tropical Seas Hotel in Myrtle, not a lovely place. The condo was clean, orderly, and prepared when arriving; it has a very homie feel to it and is very quiet at night with absolutely no noise complaints throughout the week. The Williamson Reality experience was flawless: had the key ready when arrived early, did not bother us at all throughout the week, and even was waiting outside when I dropped off the key off. My only complaint was when pulling out the guest sleeper sofa; under it was dirty but nothing a broom and dust pan couldn't fix. The ocean front pool was awesome and it was rarely crowded and very well kept up. You can sit on rocking chairs just outside the pool area and look at the beach and ocean (very relaxing). The beach itself it pristine nothing at all to complain about; probably one of the cleanest, least crowded beaches Ii have been to on the Atlantic coast. I will definitely give Williamson Reality my business again when visiting OIB. read more

We have stayed at Williamson realty properties several times. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This year we rented at Oceanside West 1 B1. We were a little disappointed in the unit. The den area was too small , there was not an ice maker and the colors in the rooms really took some getting used to. The dryer had a funny smell to it as well. Probably the worst thing was the lack of parking. Every time we left we had to fight for parking and people were parking too close together and it was hard to back out of. We were used to staying somewhere with assigned spaces. We had a great week but we would stay in another place when we rent again. These are all things that we could have found out earlier so I don't blame the realty -we will rent from Williamson again just not that particular unit. The pool was also very small and there were no lounge chairs around it. We hope and plan to rent from better places in the future. read more
