Was ready to give this place one last shot until I saw they had a "C" rating on their front door for DHEC food rating. Disgusting.

Love the homey feel and very welcoming. Friendly staff however a tad under-kept! Absolutely splendid food and steaming hot when it arrived. Mainly a breakfast or brunch kind of place Also have a variety of coffees and soups and salads! Overall love the atmosphere and location!!! read more

I've never been to New York or had an "authentic" bagel, but I really like the bagels at BB. They have a large variety of bagels and flavored cream cheese, and even more combinations. I haven't had lunch there but the salads named after Broadway musicals look intriguing. I will be back to try those. read more

Good selection of fresh bagels, plus a huge variety of combos and toppings. Good place to regular brunch. Cafe tables for Sunday mornings in to sunshine. Take out meals or just coffee. read more

Looks like the bagel shops back home but is definitely not. The girls that took our order were very nice they didn't seem to know what that had. Next on to waiting what felt like days for them to make two simple bagel sandwiches. 30 to 40 minutes for a bagel that was ready made and all you had to do was heat it up and put the meats and cheese on is unexceptionable. While waiting for our sandwiches, I thought hey while I waiting together my food I'll get a coffee. The lady who took that order was very unpleasant as well as unprofessional when she yelled at her employees about missing a bagel. We had originally stopped in to get subway but saw this place.and thought hey why not, we would have been better getting subway. The food is not worth the wait as the chicken was bland and and definitely not worth the price and when you add it all up, it's just a bad place altogether. I would recommend Greenfield's or really any other place then this one. Dominos and subway are right next door and much better than this place. I will not be going back. read more

I like the staff: there is one girl that works there who has a beautiful Southern charm and she is always chipper and helpful. There is one guy that won't talk to me, but he seems like he's in the zone, ready for the next order at all times. And this lady, she is a bit older and full of spunk. The food is good, too! I mean, it takes forever for it to be ready, but that's fresh food, I guess. If anything to critique: please, update your posters and make an effort to make the place a bit more 'cozy'... read more

Great bagels but horrible service. Orders don't come out in the sequence received so it's possible that you'll lose your choice to someone behind you in line. Love the bagels but it's almost not worth the wait and chaos. read more

Horrible service, horrible selection, rude people, and the prices are outrageous. It's a dirty little place. I wouldn't go back if they paid me to. It was really awful. The food lacked flavor. They were out of almost everything the day I went. The guy making the food was nasty and rude. The restaurant is very dirty and needs a complete cleaning and overhaul. They threw my order on the counter, smashing and spilling everything and then never even called my name. Just let it sit until I figured it out. And I paid a small fortune for 2 sandwiches. Horrible place. Really can't even say enough bad things about it to get my point across. They could learn a lot from Greenfields!! read more

Arrived at 10:05 am, ordered a bacon egg & cheese bagel. Got my bagel at 10:43. Seems excessive to wait 40 min for a bagel.

What in the world happened to this place?? This past weekend, I decided to hit up Broadway bagels. I had not been in about a year. As I walked in, I was greeted by a very nice young lady who took my order. I ordered 1 of the chicken sandwiches, chips, and a soda. The total? $11.35... 11.35? for 1 sandwich? I thought, "wow..their prices sure have gone up. This must be 1 good sandwich". They had my sandwich prepared pretty fast. I'd say about 6 minutes. After they called my name, I ran up to the counter to grab my grub. When I got back to my booth, I noticed the cook put my sandwich on a "regular" bagel; Not the "everything" bagel I requested. I'm not really 1 to complain (even though I just paid 11 bucks for this), so I was like "whatever". As I picked the sandwich up, there was grease pouring off the chicken, which was also submerged in mayo. While trying to eat this sandwich I had to run to the bathroom twice to wash my hands, and grab a wet paper towel. It was just very disappointing. :-( You know, writing this review...I now remember the last few times I went to Broadway bagels. I used to always order the cinnamon sugar bagel, with strawberry cream cheese...toasted. There was a taller young man that worked there. He always had his mouth open, and I was a bit worried he might drool in my food while preparing it. Anyways, this guy kept forgetting to put my order in after I paid for it. I would just be sitting at a table for like 20 minutes..Then I would run back up to the counter and ask about my food. He would always be like "oh yea..I forgot...) This happened the last 2 times I ate at Broadway Bagels. The 1 redeeming factor of the Greer location, is probably when the little Greek owner girl comes in wearing her tight yoga pants. That is quite a sight. As for me, I think I will try to hit up the Spartanburg location (if it is still open). Disgusting is the best word to describe this place. The floor is dirty, the ceiling is dirty, the walls have soda and food stains, even the ice dispenser on the pop machine is dirty. I ordered a bagel with a side of potato salad. First they forgot the potato salad, then when I asked about it the girl took a plastic cup and scooped it out then took her bare hand and started patting it down with her bare hand she was just using to ring people out and touch cash! She tries handing it to me with her hands covered in mayo and was shocked when I asked if I could have some she didn't touch. A different employee was preparing food with a hacking cough. This place is not for the squeamish. I doubt they even wear gloves while preparing the sandwiches after witnessing that display. read more

They never have any grits even though they are on the menu. They say they are out even though the grits are instant grits, they just don't want to make them. How do you not have grits in a southern breakfast place? They run out of basics all the time. The owner does a poor job of managing the business, we liked it a whole lot better with the old owners, we don't go as often anymore. One bright spot, the new owner has repainted the place, changed the colors, it looks a lot better. Just waiting for someone else to take over the business. read more

My blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese tasted like onion/scallion -- must've been too close together in the bagel bins or the cream cheeses got mixed together as it was rancid, awful, nasty!!!!! read more
