    Yummy lobby and choices!

In what looks like an area in the midst of gentrification, the bakery is located in a pocket of restaurants and shops. We were fortunate to find free street parking out front. A pay for parking lot is nearby. Late arrival around 1:30pm while enroute to Asheville. Fortunately, a variety of treats were still available. The aroma of fresh bread was amazing! Since this was the start of our trip, bread was not on our list. Wish they were open on Sunday when we are heading back to GA! Loaves and baguette options were calling my name. I love bakeries and particularly one with talented chefs who create kouigan amman . Very tasty despite the smallish size for $4. The cinnamon roll was also delicious and devoured. Personally, no need for the cream cheese frosting....perhaps the plain version was already sold out. Looking forward to visiting on our next trip, highly recommend!

Sandwich is similar to this picture made on long, thin, sliced, sourdough bread with quality ingredients.

A favorite here is a sandwich that looks similar to this picture: Fig & Brie sandwich on a long, thin, sliced sourdough roll ADD ham. This little shop also offers pastries, etc. Occasionally, I've seen discounted pricing on Saturday. Loaves Menu: Seasonal Selection Bacon, Scallion, Parmesan and Onion Rye are the current Saturday specialty loaves. Stop by for our weekly specialty loaves: Tuesday - Cinnamon Raisin Swirl/Ciabatta Wednesday - Multigrain Thursday - Seeded Rye/Ciabatta Friday - Challah Saturday - 100% Carolina Ground whole wheat

Totally impressed with the pastries we selected for dine in. Seating availabe along the wall and window. Tried the morning bun and guava and cheese pastry. Very good. Definitely butter rich. Park in shopping center across street if no street spots available.

The best smell on the planet is here! Fast friendly service! Delicious pastries. I could eat here everyday!

Cute lil bakery offering everything from a danish to cinnamon roll to breakfast sammy to homemade cheeses n butter! Oh and the have a full coffe n tea bar with in house made syrups including ear grey or juniper syrup! The latte I ordered was perfect creamy with little foam as requested and hot enough that I could zip on it for a bit to enjoy! It's located in an artsy area of west Greenville that seems to be going through a transition of some sort! The cherry cream danish was excellent- real cherries not that yucky compote stuff and real vanilla cream and just enough sweet to enjoy but not nauseating artificial sweet! When we return to Greenville we shall definitely stop again!

An incredible place to get sourdough! I managed to get my hands on a bunch of pastries and they were all incredible. Cannot wait to go back again on of these days. I'm taking country loaf and making grilled cheese sandwiches with it and I can't wait. Appreciate the help from the folks at Rise Bakery!

I have to say it's the complete opposite. It's well kept, clean, welcoming, and family friendly( during the daytime) The menu has ample options with a handful of very non traditional ramen options. There's something for everyone and it's almost hard to decide with out just ordering way too much. I ordered the ricotta with honey and pecans and grilled focaccia. I was tempted to change it to a burger but soooo glad I didn't. The dish was amazing. The perfect creaminess of the cheese and sweetness from the honey, slightly salted and the delicious grilled bread. Omg it was hard to stop eating it. I'd go here and just order this and be happy. Next was the hot chicken ramen. I'll be honest in more of a traditional ramen guy but they make these weird combinations woe. The chicken was crispy and the broth was flavorful. This balance of sweet savory broth that some how balances out just right. The noodles were overcooked for my liking but that's an extremely easy fix considering everything else was good. I'd love to go back when passing through again and try some of the other menu items. They seem to take pride in the food they send out and I can we why people love this place.

The staff is so friendly and made me feel like I already belonged. Fun music too and lots of seating available. For sandwiches, I got Mike's Classic and my partner got The Godfather. When we went to pick up our order from the counter, they threw in some extras since it was our first time. Such an unexpected surprise! The potato salad - wow. I'm not even a big potato salad girlie but the dijon mustard in there was *chefs kiss*. I will definitely be getting that again. The macaroni salad was also good. But these guys do make a BIG swing and a BIG hit. First off, customer service. Justin waited on me and asked right away if I was a first-timer, which I was, and at the end of a quest to arrive here. And so he gave me the layout in the menu, the NJ flown in Liscio's bread, and the Cooper American cheese and shaved sliced beef. It's the real deal and it does travel well, at least for 3-4 miles back home. It's a 10 inch sub, there are many options. I went classic. But check the pics of menu items (the Mort looks great, Mortadella coma?!) But the classic will fill. And it is tasty. Simple, authentic, tasty. That's why we are here. And the friendly customer guidance, beyond any expectations, when anyone is at the counter, they are recognized if regulars, acknowledged if first timers and the center of the universe for the counter man, (in this case, Justin). And, a couple of Dum-Dum lollipop treats for the wife who abstained for today. The sandwich was a hit. It's a bit expensive, but I understand we just beat a line out the door crowd at 11:15, so plan accordingly. I'll be back. Must try other items too. Beer and soda available. Worth the trip if authenticity is your bag, baby, if not, there's always Jersey Mikes, but support local, man! Get with the Harry's groovy and tasty vibe.

Tables are filled quickly but serviced fast. Food comes out hot and fresh. Dining area is a bit loud during lunch. We ordered the cheddar hushpuppies( soft and melts in the mouth) and nola grilled gulf oysters (savory;garlic butter, herbs, parmgiano-regiano, pecorino romano, crusty bread) for our appetizers. We loved the nola grilled oysters it is so fresh and delicous. We decided to try a platter of different kinds of oysters. My favorite is the sweet jesus( Maryland oysters ;sweet and clean, less salty). Also tryed a dozen of the happy hour barcat oysters from Chesapeake Bay Virginia ( meaty texture;salty to sweet finish). The most fresh tasting oysters I've tasted in the east coast. They shuck the oysters for you too. For our main plate we both had the charleston shrimp burger(housemade shrimp pattie, lettuce, tomato, charred lemon caper tartar sauce, brioche bun). The shrimp burger is amazing!!!!The best seafood burger I've ever tasted on the east coast. I would recommend 10/10. The photo can be deceiving, quality of the shrimp pattie is unmatched on the east coast. Overall, this restaurant is excellent for fresh seafood. There is more seafood menu items other then oysters and shrimp, looking forward for our next visit!!!!

I booked a table on the patio as I read that the restaurant was super pet friendly. And it was perfect! We went around 4:30 on a Saturday, and it was pretty dead. There were a few people sitting outside, and we were actually the only people inside when we first got there. The service was a little slow to start, and the woman who initially took our drink order was honestly a little rude. My friend asked her for a recommendation, and she just wasn't very helpful about it. No big deal, though, because our actual server for the rest of the meal was SO sweet and amazing. We had absolutely no complaints with her! But then the food came, and we were pleasantly surprised. The absolute showstopper was the truffle fries. All of us could not stop talking about how good they were. They were insanely crispy, the garlic aioli they came with was DELICIOUS, and they were so fresh when they came out. I would genuinely come back just for these. I also really enjoyed the chef's board. It gave us a lot of different things to pick and choose from, and the three of us were able to share the plates and the salad. We all left feeling full but not stuffed.
