Great open space concept, had a strawberry matcha it was delicious very sweet. The person who took my order was nice and suggested it because it was sunny outside.

Calm, spacious cafe with delicious pastries and decent coffee. A friend and I stopped in for some leisurely breakfast and laptop focus time on a sunny Sunday morning. There aren't many tables, so I could see it filling up quickly during peak hours, but it wasn't too full at the time. Wifi was easy to connect to, and the music was noticeable but not too loud. The barista was patient and friendly as I debated between two of the locally made pastries. They had a great selection, and it was difficult to choose! I opted for a latte and their last cardamom bun, warmed, and my friend opted for a cappuccino and an oat cookie (a nutty, chewy disk). My coffee was made to the perfect temperature -- hot, but fine to sip from. I also loved seeing the self-serve water station, local wines and locally roasted coffee beans for sale, and fully stocked self-serve utensil kiosk. Give this cafe a visit if you're in the area. It's worth getting a pastry or two....or three!

    8 oz oat milk latte
    Keri N.

Came here on a weekday morning around 8am. Such a relaxing environment and several customers working on their laptops. I got an 8oz oat milk latte and it was excellent. The alternative milk options were either oat or hemp milk. Baristas were friendly and service was speedy. Will definitely be back! They also had some grab and go food items like breakfast burritos and pastries.

Huge fan of this establishment. I wish the pastries lasted a bit longer in the day or they refreshed them in the afternoon. Their salted chocolate chip cookie is amazing. Warm it up and you will be happy. Share it with a friend as it is huge. Ample seating and some small outdoor tables/chairs too. Love it. They also host community cleanup events on long weekends. I wish their hours were later on weekends though. Maybe until 5 PM. The morning 7 AM opening is awesome.

Broadcast Coffee is a nice low lighting (natural lighting is preferred here maybe) cafe near First Hill area and its my favorite now. I'm love the low-light concept and I enjoyed their Winter seasonal Flapjack Latte which tasted so good, just like it was mentioned- comforting feeling in a cup. They have alcoholic drinks, Tea and lots of food options too.

The staff were really kind and helpful. The menu is a bit more limited though, especially if you're not a coffee or espresso drinker. I tried the Disco Pony and it was definitely interesting! If you like strong coffee flavors, this is for you. Not my cup of tea though if you'll excuse the pun. The ambiance was mostly fine although it can be hard to find a spot! Very popular for working. The music is a little louder and plugs are more concentrated in some areas so try to get there earlier to find your spot if needed.

Cozy Spot with Great Pastries (and Gluten-Free Options!) During our trip to Seattle, my friends and I stopped by Broadcast Coffee Roasters since it was just a few blocks from our Airbnb--a perfect morning walk. When we arrived, it wasn't very busy, which was nice considering there were six of us. I was thrilled to see they had gluten-free options and ordered the jam biscuit, which was absolutely delicious. I wish I had bought more to take with me! While the coffee was decent, it wasn't anything to rave about. However, the pastries were a hit with my friends--they all tried different ones and loved them. I do wish they offered more savory gluten-free pastry options, as that's something bigger coffee shops often overlook. Overall, it's a lovely spot to grab a treat and relax, especially if you're looking for gluten-free goodies in Seattle.

Broadcast coffee roast is very much an indie coffee shop. There's great music and baristas that really have that Indie look, but also are still very friendly. Coffee wise, they have a lot of options, that are very tasty. We had a drip coffee, two mochas, and the Borgia.

Broadcast coffee was a couple blocks away from my Air BnB for a weekend up in Seattle, so I decided to give it a try on a slower morning before heading into the city! Beginning with the ambiance, it's a great little spot near a very green park leading to a cozy atmosphere within and outside of the shop itself that is very welcoming to anyone coming in. The staff, as seen in past reviews, was excellent: they were extremely friendly, and going above and beyond with their recommendations and warm welcome to me as someone who is not native to Seattle. In regards to the coffee, it was alright! I will take into consideration that I have a fantastic coffee scene in Los Angeles and am extremely spoiled, but I did find their cappuccino overtly milky which did not allow me to really get a good taste of their espresso. With all that's considered, this is a nice coffee shop to go for studying, casually walking in, etc for basic cafe drinks and a couple specialty drinks made by the baristas!

    Sweater Weather Latte
    Justine D.

This was my go-to study/ get work done spot. There is great seating with outlets for computer work. I will say that the music choices (the whole theme of the coffee shop) is too avant-garde for me and I can only take oh so many bob dylan vocal sound-alikes before I stick my earbuds in. I love the fall lattes... especially the yam one that was their response to the pumpkin spice latte. I think it was called the sweater weather. Friendly service with a table or two of outdoor seating.

I loved this little Coffee Shop, it was just a two block walk away from an Airbnb that we stayed at in Seattle, and right across the street from a Park. It was a cute shop and at most there was always 2 workers working when I came in. They had a simple menu, as well as special drinks handcrafted by the baristas. They also sold some pastries and breakfast sandwiches. They had some cold brew as well and some other cold drinks and little knick knaks. Coffee was simple, they had Lattes, Americanos, Mocha, etc. Came her for a quick morning coffee after my morning jog and walks. I got their Latte, simple yet so delicious. Workers were super friendly and energetic. I really loved their cruffins. They sell out of their pastries quick. Their chocolate chip cookie was also delicious, very big and moist.

    Cold brew and London Fog
    Timmy P.

I live a block away so stopped by for a quick coffee run and I'm glad I did! They have coffee, espresso, teas and a nice selection of pastries. I think it's reasonably priced and the cafe itself is very roomy and spacious so I wouldn't mind grabbing a coffee here and doing some work. It is....a little dark in there (I wish they turned on the lights) and the Seattle cloudy weather that day made the cafe extra gloomy if you're into that vibe. The staff was also very friendly. The cold brew was a little too tart and watered down but the London Fog was tasty! They also serve seasonal drinks and latte art for customers who are dining in. Excited to swing by again and get some work done next time.

My husband loved the Borgia - it's a mocha with orange peel. I snuck in a taste and it was delicious! I had the flapjack latte - I'd recommend getting it less sweet since the maple really comes through the drink in terms of sweetness. The espresso in both drinks was robust and well pulled. We also shared the Gruyère and caramelized onion croissant and it was delectable! So flaky and buttery, really hit the spot.

We went around 11 in the morning, and it was PACKEDDDD. The inside was completely full, and there was even a line out the door, so I honestly didn't think our group of 4 would find seating. The line moved really fast tho, and we managed to grab one of the viet style low table and chair setups that you'd typically see on the street back home, I liked it a lot. The aioli was sooooo yum we scrape every bits of it lolllll. I'd honestly come back just for this dish alone. xoi chay $15- Really good breakfast option.
