We wanted a snow cone but our favorite snow cone place closed down. So we went here and I'm a bit disappointed. These cups were 8oz cups but for three of them SINGLE flavor WITHOUT anything extra it was 20$ the outdated prices on the board need to be updated because they were more then advertised. Not to mention it's extra for more than one syrup/flavor. Points cause they were open and the business looked clean but overpriced and the kids didn't like the flavor selection. I'm from New Orleans and we call Hawaiian Shaved Ice....Sno-balls. I haven't found any places in the West Valley that compare to the sno-balls in New Orleans, but Ohana comes closer than the ones I've tried. Although I tend to like more syrup than what is initially given, they never have an issue with adding a little more at no additional charge. I also like to add condensed milk *if you haven't tried this.....WHY HAVEN'T YOU?!*. I love the sweetness that the condensed milk adds. I don't put ice cream at the bottom just because it's not my thing. The inside is always clean and it's rarely ever busy. I recommend this location! read more

Legit shave ice, probably the most authentic in the area. At first, you might be thinking helado shop, with pictures of hotdogs and elotes in the window and familiar snack foods on display. But then, if you're paying attention, you'll notice the freezer case is full of Thrifty ice cream and next to that, a pair of ice shaving machines. (not to be confused with sno cone machines that make crushed ice) A real shave ice starts with a cup of light, fluffy ice flakes that get shaved from a block of ice. Next comes the flavored syrups, and here the owner-lady makes them herself from scratch. You have the option to start with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (Hawaiian style on the menu) under your shave ice for the full experience. What a lovely shaved ice spot! I randomly stumbled upon this shop. With these super hot summer days it was refreshing getting some shaved ice. It is a very nice and clean shop. The customer service was great! Very friendly and they offer suggestions. I had the shaved ice with tiger blood! I believe it's watermelon with coconut and something else. It was so good I could go for a second cup! They have lots of flavors and you can mix them up. They also have ice cream, Mexican candies and other snacks. The prices are very affordable. Worst customer service. Walked in and it was like an inconvenience. It was our first time here and no assistance was offered. Instead since we were looking at the menu she decided to help someone else. There are no public restrooms. According to an employee it's because it's meant to be an in and out kind of place. Then why have tables and chairs. The shaved ice was flavorless. The elote was super watery. And the service terrible. Definitely wooo never be back. read more

I'm not sure where the couple is that owns/owned this place but after being out of town for a few months we came back and were surprised to find a few changes. We were initially happy to see more snacks being offered and even food! I decided to try the sonoran dog (dont). I was also surprised how stong the smell of cleaner was. Not a smell that says "clean" but one that smelled of incredibly strong bathroom cleaner. They dont have public bathrooms so I'm at a loss on that one. The dog was meh. The flavor was mediocre and I had to ask them to remake it as the food they served me was not warm. They remade the dog and it was cold the second time as well. I told them to get their machine checked because obviously its not heating to an acceptable temperature, and not to bother making a third. I will add our family of 5 were the only ones there. Prior to this experience this place was a 5 star place. The husband/wife team took pride in their business. The 2 women working today didnt seem to care either way. I'm not sure how likely we are to come back, which is a shame. read more

I don't know how my experience was so different than the others.. I got shave ice with ice cream. The shave ice had very very little flavor at all. It was like eating ice with ice cream. How weird and unpleasant. The place also smelled like a restroom (the disinfectant). I mean not just a little. It made me not want to stay inside. It was like eating ice in a public restroom: The ice creams they had all looked pretty low in the tubs, and therefore appeared to be old. Not fresh. Ew. I've gotten shave ice in Hawaii. Visited this location and was very happy to find that the girl working the stand on 4/15 around 5:30PM was so sweet. She is very passionate about what she does and showed true caring for everyone that walked in! She even shared a bit of history of the location with us. I love this little place. It's family owned so I love to support that. The two women working thought my daughters were so cute and they were really nice to them. They have everything shave ice you ever want plus ice cream and toppings. Of course I got the regular rainbow shave ice but added vanilla ice cream on the bottom and it was amazing! They also have other Hispanics snacks and food. I like that they have a pretty good amount of room for table and chairs because my two girls like having an experience lol and eating at the place instead of taking it with us. It was really good. I've been here 3 times in the last couple of weeks and I love it. I'm not normally a huge fan of shave ice because it's too sweet for me but they have sugar free options that actually taste good with no after taste. They have sugar free Tigers Blood now too! The older couple who run the place are so friendly and welcoming, with big smiles on their faces. It's much cheaper than fro-yo, and just as satisfying. They have ice cream and Mexican candy too. My daughter and grandson love coming here too. read more

As their name implies, they sell a variety of caramel and chocolate products from caramel pecan turtles, chcocolate caramel squares, caramel sauces, and caramel chews. I tried out one of their bonbons and a bag of freeze dried caramel. Bonbons are very small confection with a thin chocolate shell with a sweet filling. This cost me $12.01 and although the bonbon was too expensive for my tastes ($3 for one), I can tell it was carefully handcrafted and it tasted pretty good.
