I have approached management in all the stores in Tucson and they all give a scripted answer that is about preventing shoplifting and our security. The two people in front of me each had just a few items plus a larger order in front of them. So I took my cart and went to self checkout unwillingly, but not wanting to stand and wait. I have no problem with self checkout when I only have a few things. I was unhappy today that I had to go to self checkout with my numerous items. The entire reason I changed to Publix was for the customer service which has now changed to customer no-service. The employee who was manning the self check out never spoke to me or thanked me or asked me to return. I may as well go back to Kroger and get no customer service, but cheaper prices.

When you've been to one Walmart Supercenter, you've pretty much been to them all. This is store #3389, one of three Walmarts in Snellville. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too bad. It was busy, but not slammed. I picked up a few grocery items and some toilet paper. The bananas were the cheapest I'd seen them: $0.39/lb. I think Walmart's produce quality is generally good. I got bananas, Halos (a 5-lb bag for $3.98), and organic spinach & spring mix (1 lb for $4.66). I like their boxed greens and have been regularly eating them for years. I also picked up a 7.12-oz bottle of McCormick ground cinnamon ($5.78) and a 9-pack of Charmin Ultra Soft ($10.47). Good prices. My receipt was thoroughly checked at the exit. If I was in the area and needed groceries, household goods, or other stuff, I'd return.

The past couple of times I've been here (probably 3 times within 2 weeks), their shelves look scarce, not sure if that's the combination of everyone getting groceries at the same time because of the ice storm and they not being able to get deliveries due to weather. Every trip to HMart, I stock up on meats (pork bellies, beef bulgogi slices, marinated chicken), veggies like radishes, bok choy, watercress, ginger, garlic, cucumber, tofu, and mushrooms. I also get the large tub of Kimchi, a large bag or 2 of rice cakes, and a whole bunch of the banchan. They have such a large array of them, it's always hard to decide which ones to get.
