Purchased a very nice used Thunderbird, what a great ride, smooth, controls placed nicely, don't care for the short handlebars, anyway. I purchased the Hogslayer pipes/mufflers, and installed in about an hour on the floor, I don't have a lift and it is a perfect fit and the sound is magnifico. I've never dealt with an ecomm company that is more customer friendly or flexible than these guys. They answer random questions, go outside to take pictures of their own bikes for context, and will readily accept returns. Great group, great company. read more

I purchased bolt on mufflers for my Triumph from BC in the past year--though they didn't work out for me; I gotta say BC's customer service and prompt return & refund policy was excellent. I don't mind buying a product that doesn't work out, as long as long as the company backs it up, which BC did. So I would recommend them to all. Caution--they are a little pricey, but, with that said; their quality and craftsmanship are above par. So put that in the "you get what you pay for" category. Overall--a good company read more

If I could rate zero stars I would !!!! It started off with ordering my hogslayers pipes and the box was missing the clamps that are required to install them , took over two weeks to get them AND that's because I had dropped in the shop ,.. never a call back to voicemails or emails stating they were going to close for inventory ... finally put them on to find out the heat shields don't fit correctly as stated original shields would work ,. Reached out to them and was beyond patient due to it took over three months for them to get back to me ..... eventually I called back and was told by Sean that the big bosses said just return the pipes we are not going to issue any refund for you time lost and headache OR come up with a solution... I've never raised my voice or gave anybody attitude at any moment .... this is beyond horrible customer service when you are paying for a top quality product and supposed top quality company ..,I will make sure everybody knows how British's customs treats their customers which are paying top dollar for a product ,., I will refrain from saying what I really wanna say because I'm a true believer in karma !!! And you will get yours British customs .., here are pictures attached proving what they say is a matter of opinion on how these pipes are supposed to fit ,,. I have purchased parts for two bikes, my first bike was my 2012 Triumph Scrambler and my other bike 2013 Triumph Thunderbird Storm. The person that I worked with from start to finish was Matt. He was great and made many suggestions for me and I can't say enough about the personal attention he gave me. I never walked in the shop but I feel like I have. The shipping was great and on time each time. My Scrambler I spent $3,000 and my new bike the Thunderbird storm I have spent to date over $2,080. Don't waste your time buying anything from this company. I was told over email that the fender eliminator I ordered would fit my bike. I found out the hard way that it does not fit my bike. I tried to contact them via phone over a few days and was unsuccessful. I was finally able to get a response to one my emails that I sent. After a few emails back and fourth they stopped responding. I bought some simple seat screw extenders for my Triumph T100 and one broke off installing them leaving an annoying stump that was shite to remove and the other one broke on the way out and was the same issue. That's not even my complaint! Ordered front turn signals and installed them and they worked great until a torrential rain rendered the left one useless. So I contacted British Customs and they suggested that I swap connections with left and right and see if it still doesn't work. Did that. Didn't work. Then they said okay video the process. What? I did what they said now they want me to do it over only video it so they can refund me. S*#k this and F*#k that. I already took the light apart once I'm not doing it twice so that they can justify to someone whose an idiot that its' okay to replace one half of my $40USD turn signals. Probably a bulb. $3USD? My time is worth more than that. Everyone's time is worth more than that. After that exchange with someone possibly Kevin Pak and Sean Harris I'll never order anything from this place again. Been buying things from these guys for years. I've never had a single issue whatsoever with shipping, lack of communication, etc. In fact I would say that they have gone above and beyond each time. They have even called me to inquire about a specific part that I ordered to be sure that it was the one I needed because of a slight variance from a similar item. Class A+ customer service. Almost all of the parts that are on my 2012 T100 are from BC, and I've not had a single issue whatsoever. I'd recommend them to anyone and everyone. Their website (whether mobile or computer) is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Prices are reasonable, and their product assortment is always kept fresh. Keep up he good work guys. I like their selection. I made one order for 4 different parts, and was psyched to find everything in one place. They shipped the first part immediately. When it arrived, I realised the other 3 weren't included. AFter a few weeks (WEEKS), I began emailing them asking what was going on. to the first few emails, they responded with terse one liner answers that didn't address my problem (something to the effect of part x is in stock). My question was please give me an ETA...! Finally they gave me a 2 liner, saying they don't ship partial orders, and when the back ordered part arrives, then they'll ship the entire order. Interesting as they had already shipped me a partial order...! I'm now waiting for the back ordered part and the rest of my order. In between the time that I made the first order, and received the first part, I made a second order. This one arrived pretty quickly. But I just tried to install the part (Pazzo levers) and even though I ordered through the bike specific part of the website, they sent me the WRONG lever. It doesn't work with my bike. I have just sent them yet another email complaining. We'll see how they respond, but I'm getting the impression they really don't care about their customers, and the quality of their shipping and support department is very low. Bottomline: their selection is good, prices reasonable, and shipping/service poor. I'll post again if they change my impression in how they handle my latest email, but given their terrible response to my earlier questions re: an ETA, I am not optimistic. Drove 45 minutes in traffic (southbound 110fwy) to their store one day because they said you can purchase directly from them. Guy tells me their customer service guy was gone for the day. All I wanted were some plugs and air filters and I had cash! He refused to sell me the parts. He could have just taken the money and written the invoice to be inputed the next day. They have a decent selection and prices are in line with competitors. Shipping left a lot to be desired. I placed an order for a part at midday on a Friday and didn't find out until the next Friday that my order hadn't shipped and they needed me to re-verify payment information. I would have cancelled my order but they are the only distributor for the part I needed in the US. Ended up having to fork over money for next day shipping in order to get the part in a reasonable time frame. I will not be giving them my business again. read more

After having bought many parts and having them shipped, I decided to go pick my latest order up in person for a change. It was a great experience, the staff were patient and interested in answering all my questions and showing me bikes that had many of the parts I was interested in seeing. It was great to be able to sit on a bike and test out the seat. They also recommended a brilliant Italian place nearby and even drove behind me to make sure I didn't miss it. I feel very taken care of and appreciate the level of customer service! I do recommend following their request and calling ahead to set up an appointment for in-store pick ups. read more

This company has been hit or miss for me. This last time dealing with this company was the straw that broke the camels back. I was inquiring about a specific item. Tried contacting them 5 times, 3 emails 2 by phone. Could not get through on the phone and they never replied to my emails. A certain product i was inquiring about, even before Black Friday, I needed specs for. When BF did come around soon after, I felt i should jump on the deal before it was over on good faith that the description of the product was accurate. Well, when i received the product it was disappointing. So I tried to contact the company again with no response. I'm done with this company. read more

After considerable online research for accessories, I ordered a light bar and kit for a Triumph Speedmaster on Sat last week. I was concerned about the shipping process due to prior reviews so I called them on Monday. found the associate exceptionally professional, courteous, Knowledgeable, and presented a "can I help you attitude" - exactly what I needed to feel confident in my purchase. Additionally, he checked their inventory so they could provide accuarate expectations for receipt of the product. I received the package today, which due to the holiday, was outstanding. The product arrived in an undamaged box and is now awaiting its recipient to open it in time for the holiday. I understand that everyone has different experiences and that's what makes Yelp what it is. I can only relay my personal experience with British Customs. I ordered online about $300 worth of parts for my Triumph Speedmaster. I dealt with a guy called Matt who was nothing short of freaking awesome. I called in to ask some questions about fitting of a headlight I'd ordered, Matt went to the stock room and gave me detailed descriptions of all the parts I was interested in, not once complaining at my multiple questions. He was courteous, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed. BCs product looks to be of the highest quality, hell, Matt even called me to tell me that a new product that I'd ordered didn't meet their quality standards and offered me a discount if I still wanted the part. I like these guys a lot and will continue to customize my bike with their product. I don't have an on the ground experience at the premises but the website does state that personal visits are by appointment only. Highly recommended, and Matts a rock star my books. read more
