TIme & Time again, they give the WRONG AUTO PART, it takes gas mileage to & from, many times to other locations, as frequented store does not have it in stock , or says computerwise it has, but in reality does not. so MANY times I have had to make MULTIPLE trips turning an hour job into many ! NOT TO MENTION THE LABOR COSTS to redo the part installation and removal. this happens FAR TOO OFTEN. sometimes the part is warped or damaged, or MISSING pieces (screws, bolts, etc.) They also carry almost no tools to install various parts. I ordered a radiator that was listed on their website as a direct replacement for my truck. I used their chat to order, and the rep confirmed that it would fit. Do you think it did? When I called to arrange for return, the first rep was sort of condescending, telling me that the part was only for 4WD. He told me that I could return it, but I would be responsible for shipping costs. I didn't give up. I spoke to four people that day, and finally got them to admit that yes, indeed, their website listed that radiator as for both 4WD and RWD. They were gracious in offering to pay the return shipping. I also ordered a different radiator and a fan shroud that were promised to fit, speaking directly to a "parts specialist". I explained that I'm in a hurry, and that I'd promised my wife who's on vacation that I would have all the work done and cleaned up by the time she gets back home. I was promised a 4-day delivery. She hates all the mess that auto repair inevitably shows up, and she keeps asking me to bite the bullet and just take the truck into the dealer for repair. Truth is, I like working on my own cars, and I save money, too. But that means I've got the have the right parts, right? Now I find out that while the radiator will get delivered on time, the fan shroud will take two extra days. You know that installing the radiator without the fan shroud is a stupid idea, and that doing so, I'd have to take off a bunch of hoses (and make a mess of the garage floor, again!) to get the fan shroud in later. I spoke to a supervisor, who was of course apologetic. I asked him if he'd seen all the 1s in Yelp for this business. He said that he was going to address them. Address this: Auto Parts Warehouse made two mistakes on my order, put me behind, and now I have to deal with making a mess in the garage that my wife would rather I have circumvented by taking both my vehicles to a dealership for repairs that I should be able to do on my own....if I could just get the parts I need on time! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! But in this case, you get much less. Ordered carpet for my classic '49 Plymouth on 5/25, arrived 7 days later. Shipping status info almost non-existent. Carpet is horrible. I was expecting a one piece carpet for the front and a one piece carpet for the rear, after all it's practically a flat floorboard, no recesses or intricate shapes, with the exception of the transmission hump. Lousy fit, lumpy in areas and made out of what looks to be remnants/patches. Wherever there's a seam (and there's several of them), there's a lump. Not happy at all. This place doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating, but I had to give it a 1 star in order to post my review. read more

I can't tell you how disappointed I am with there service I tried to buy a few parts from them which took two hours then it was suppose to be two day delivery. I get an e-mail not a phone call the next day saying they were out of stock when I could of gone some where else and got the project done. When I asked if they could get me the parts they said they could get another brand and it would cost more and if I wanted it over night. I had the most miserable experience I have ever had with a business at Auto Parts Warehouse. It took over 3 months to resolve a simple matter of a $150 refund that I was encouraged to pursue by an employee. They NEVER called back when they promised they would. I was put on HOLD for 15 MINUTES at a time. I spoke to at least 3 supervisors and eventually the manager of customer service, Winston Valdez, who denied the reimbursement for unnecessary labor costs I incurred as a result of receiving a wrong part for my car. Ordered a radiator fan for a 2010 Hyundai, Correct part was sent, although I was assuming the part would be shipping from California and get to me in 2-3 business day. Part actually was sent from Chesapeake, VA and took 6 business days to arrive. Vital parts I will not order again from APW just because of the drop shipping methods. Could have got it locally or off Ebay quicker. read more

So far so good...I ordered an OEM intake hose for my Kia. Arrived as promised, perfect condition. I will be doing business here again.

Ordered 4 items. First three items came quickly and were of acceptable quality. The largest item however, a hood, was an absolute nightmare. The delivery company XPO logisitcs failed to show to FIVE arranged drop off times. This resulted in a total of 16 hours waiting for the delivery. After 5 days I contacted autopartswarehouse.com to see if they could contact the shipping company to resolve it. They offered a courtesy $40 credit for the amount of time spent on the phone and waiting for the delivery. At the time this was appreciated, and felt like sincere concern.(I had also planned to use the $40 to order the remaining parts needed for my project). When the hood was finally delivered 6 days after the first arranged appointment, it was incredibly damaged. The freight company even noted the damage on their delivery slip. I immediately called and requested a refund and sent the delivery slip as well as photos (with the delivery driver still in the background). I also mistakenly assumed auto parts warehouse would arrange to pick up the unusable damaged part. Instead they have stated it is my responsibility to pay to dispose of it. Do yourself a favor and purchase from a reputable company that will not deliver damaged parts and then act as if the refund was a sufficient resolution for the disposal of such parts. read more

What a disappointment! I placed an order for some trucks parts with these folks early in the morning on February 27th 2017 and later that same day; I called to see if there was an update on this order (I know, call me impatient) because I had not received an email yet letting me know what the status of the order was. Come to find out, they could not locate my order but they did show a posted payment to them for the total amount and I was told that it must be a glitch in the system and that it would be escalated to the applications support team. Early morning on March 2nd, I followed up to see what the status was and the person I spoke to 'Jenny' in customer service in the Philippines call center but she was not very helpful and had me send her proof of payment which I had from PayPal and she told me that someone would get back to me by the end of the day from the applications support team. Later that afternoon, I still had not heard back from her so I sent over an email letting her know that I still had not herd back from the applications support team; no response from her. The following afternoon March 3rd another person from the PI call center by the name of Antonio emailed me: "I apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused you. At the moment our applications support team is still verifying your order and you will receive an update about this issue within the next 1 to 2 business days. We appreciate your patience regarding this issue. If you have any other questions or concerns, please let me know, I'm always here to help." I should have heard back from someone by the 7th (2nd business day) and definitely by the 8th (3rd business day)....but nothing; no phone call, no email. I sent an email on the morning of the 9th (4th business day) letting Antonio know that I had not heard back from anyone and to just let me know what the status was but I still hadn't heard from anybody. This afternoon the 10th (5th business day), I called the contact center to express my concerns about my order and the lack of communication but all they kept saying was "we understand your frustration..." I really don't think they did and told the agent to please stop saying that. But as of today, I still don't know what the status of my "lost" order is because it was sent back to the applications support team again for review. Why not just get a refund you ask....well, I explored that route too but apparently they can not refund an order if they can't find it but yet (likely story); they see that a posted payment is in their system and they have told me this.... I just placed an order and now i remember the horrible experience i had a decade ago. I order brand new struts. I installed them on my car. In less than two weeks the struts acted as if all the fluid had leaked out. I now have to call the bank to stop payment on the two items that i order. Then Tuesday I call and they say they will refund me money cause its not available. But they were never going to contact me to let me know. I ordered a cruise control switch set for my 2002 ford ranger.The switches came to me a few days later, O.K. fine.I then spent the next 4 hours installing and uninstalling them because they were defective.This is supposed to be about a half hour job! I finally put the old switches back in which worked fine they were just unsightly.I then ordered another set of original equipment switches from Motor Craft, they were only $10..00 more than the ones from Auto Parts Warehouse! Now I started to try to figure out how to return the defective ones. The paper work they sent me was more than a little confusing and incomplete, then I went to Yelp and read the reviews from other people and their nightmarish experiences with Auto Parts Warehouse. I don't even think I will try to return them and pay more for the shipping and waste hours more of my time.I am going to throw them in the garbage and chalk it up to lesson learned.Next time I'll read the Yelp reviews first and save myself all this trouble and wasted time.It does not sound like this company sells good parts or has good customer service. read more

I ordered a set of Spark Plug Wires from this website around two weeks ago. When my package arrived a few days ago, there was instead one spark plug, and not the wire set I'd ordered and paid for. I contacted this company by phone and explained the situation, and was assured that my correct spark plug wires would be sent out. There was not even a mention of sending back the one spark plug. The next day, I received an email from this company Customer "Service" department letting me know that my paid-for part would not be shipped to me until I returned their mistake part. This was on a Friday that was busy for me, and there was no chance I was getting it out that day, or likely even until Monday or Tuesday, when I would have the chance to run this errand to fix their mistake. I wrote back to Antonio in Customer "Service" and let him know that I would ship the spark plug back as soon as I could, but that I do not appreciate them holding the item that I NEED and had PAID FOR simply because they had made a mistake that I now needed to correct. Nearly any business that wants a repeat customer would have shipped the correct part out asap, with fast shipping, and apologized, rather than continue holding the item I paid for away from me, again due to their mistake. A different Customer "Service" rep, Ulrich, emailed me back and said "I'm sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you. I see that we emailed you a FedEx Shipping Label you can use to have the incorrect part sent back for free. Please get back to us after you ship the part so that we could ship out the correct one as well." Completely ignoring the hassle and ridiculousness of continuing to hold my Paid-for part. I then called their phone system and spoke with a nice and friendly customer service agent, who just sounded like his hands were tied. He tried to ask the warehouse guy, James, to have the product shipped and explained the situation, and James again refused, demanding that their mistake be shipped back to them first, a $10 spark plug they likely are paying $7 to have shipped back. So, A $3 recovery of value, minus a repeat customer, and minus the time spent by their staff working this out. Really smart move, Auto Parts Warehouse. They also claimed that I had been "given two options" and I had selected this option of how to proceed with fixing this. I had never been presented any options, I was simply told by phone that they would fix this and send out the correct item. Horrible accountability. I am attempting to cancel the order and extricate myself from this mess. Everything has been ridiculous thus far and they are simply unwilling to see the absurdity of their policy. RIP OFF... - Claim to have the parts in stock then call me 3days later call to say they don't have it in stock. - Charge my account for BOTH water-pump and thermostat, ship the thermostat anyway after rep agreed to cancel the order. - The money I need to shop elsewhere is now locked up with this NIGHTMARE company, that tells me the money will be refunded for the thermostat once the receive the returned thermostat AND the money for the water-pump which I never received will be back in my account in 3day. - Already lost 3day not I am probably looking at another week and ALL 10 company representatives/so-called Managers I spoke to ALL in the Philippines did not care, they barley speak English and then hangup the phone with a "Sorry Sir there is no one else here that can help you" My request was that we 3-way call my bank and try to get the funds for the water-pump back in my account or next day air an equivalent water-pump or one of less value. I had been buying parts here for a long time. Everything has been fine for a very long time with replacement mirrors, etc for my Honda. When I had a remote door lock actuator go out on my VW Rabbit, I ordered a new one specific to that make, model, and year. However, when I replaced it, it did not work and the drivers side door would no longer open at all and you have to open the door to get at the part! The guy that eventually fixed it told me it was the wrong part. VW charges about $500 for the job and $240 for the part. I got it for under $100 but ended up paying over $1000. While I have ordered from APW for years, I can't ever go back to them for parts unless its for non critical stuff. I rated APW 2 stars but this rates 0 stars. read more
