Every time we've called him, he's been reliable, honest, and has done great work. What I appreciate most is that he actually cares about helping people. A good example is when I bought a dash cam and realized I had no idea how to install it. Instead of telling me it wasn't something he did, he took the time to figure it out and installed it for me. It came out great, and I really appreciated that he was willing to go the extra mile. Because I've had such good experiences with him, I've recommended him to several businesses and contractors I work with. They ended up hiring him to maintain their truck fleets because they were impressed with his work, professionalism, and reliability. He's always been straightforward with pricing, explains what's actually wrong with the vehicle, and never makes me feel like he's trying to sell me repairs I don't need. It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust, especially one who comes to you, but Fern is definitely one of them. If you're looking for a mobile mechanic who's knowledgeable, dependable, and genuinely cares about his customers, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fern. He's earned my trust and my family's trust, and he'll continue to be the first person I call whenever we need work done on our vehicles.

Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to meet the owner Josh, however, I'm told he is just as hospitable as his employees which I'm certain is accurate as professionalism usually flows down from the top. The first visit was after my AOS malfunctioned and a coolant-line T-adapter broke, causing all of the coolant to leak out of the system. Thankfully, I caught it in time before it led to anything more serious, like a blown head gasket. Young diagnosed the problem quickly and repaired everything safely. He was extremely knowledgeable and, more importantly, honest in his assessment. I could have upgraded to a new AOS, but he was upfront in telling me it wasn't necessary at the time. It's hard to find an honest shop, especially in automotive work, but Autotuned has consistently earned my trust. There's no unnecessary upselling, no gimmicks, and no pressure. Just straightforward recommendations and quality service. My second visit was for AC service, an oil change, and fluid top-offs. Once again, the work was honest, clear, and professionally done with no BS. Every service I've received has been fairly priced, and I'm genuinely grateful to have Young as my local mechanic. Highly recommend Autotuned to anyone looking for knowledgeable, trustworthy service for their car.

BEWARE: DISHONEST; WILL DESTROY YOUR WIRING TO TEMPORARILY "FIX" YOUR AC…read more I came in April 2023 looking for a trustworthy shop to fix my AC. It would go out intermittently and not blow cold air. The owner told me that it was a "simple relay issue" and presented my car back to me with it blowing ice cold air. He told me to keep the AC always on for the first couple of weeks just to help the airflow. Since that time, I continued to have issues where the AC would still go out and stop working. I also inherited more issues: cold vapor of air flowing through the vents even when AC is not turned on. White flakes sometimes came through, as if it was snowing in my car. Unfortunately, I did not have money to keep taking it back to get fixed, so I deal with it. Fast forward to 2026, I take my car to Seiko's auto shop in Monrovia to finally address the AC issue before another summer season hits. To my surprise, they let me know that the previous shop I took my car to (SWIFTGIRL AC AUTO) has completely jerryrigged the wiring. They had my AC compressor set to always be turned on even when it's not actually on (now the owner's "airflow" instruction makes sense!... load of BS!!) The temperature of the AC was reading as 15 degrees when normally should be at 40 degrees. This explains the cold vapor of air and snowflakes. It was so cold that it made an ice block in my car and prevented airflow from coming through. I had to pay thousands to get this problem diagnosed, re-do ALL the wiring that Swiftgirl messed up, and then pay more to finally get to the bottom of the original cause of the AC problem. DO NOT trust this shop!!!! If you don't know much about cars, they will not be the ones to do honest work! THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. They will purposely mess up your car and give you a temporary fix to make it seem like it's working just to take your money. Shame on this business and everyone associated with it. Anyone who has recently gotten their AC fixed by Swiftgirl, I HIGHLY recommend to take it somewhere else and double check your wiring before you end up with a bigger problem like I did.
