Large and spacious lounge with plenty of comfortable seating, albeit busy in the morning around 9:30am! We were only flying Club World TATL this time around, but had access to the Galleries First due to OWE status. Breakfast is a bit heavy with all the carbs and sausages, but what you'd expect to create your own English breakfast. I wish there were more healthier options like salads and grilled veggies. The fruit selection and juices were pretty good, grab a glass of the smoothie if you can! There's also coffee/espresso machines if you're looking for that morning caffeine hit before a flight. This is a pretty good place to be during a longer layover as there's showers and spacious bathrooms, however the noise level can be pretty high during peak times. The T3 Cathay First Lounge has an edge over this one due to the food, but alas the location is on a completely different terminal :( If you're flying BA First, head over to the Concorde Room instead for a more cozy and intimate space that's more quiet.

Ambience: 5* Food options: 5* Beverage options: 5* Comfort: 5* Stopped by here on a return trip home. The lounge was very comfortable, clean, and well stocked. Plenty of space lugs, seating, tables and relaxation areas. Will return

Weird horse lamp. Yes, it's lifesized.

This first class lounge is schizophrenic. There are some really good things, and some really bad things. First the good... this huge lounge has plenty of space to spread out, with several themed sections. There should be plenty of different decors so that anyone will find a comfy place to hang out. The staff is helpful of course, and they thought to add a specific customer service counter just for this lounge. There's quite a variety of refreshment available, but overall the food offerings are somewhat disappointing. Seriously, are you supposed to use canned mushrooms in a first class lounge? But there are some very odd decisions that were made when T5 was built and decorated. On the weird side are the life-size horse lamps that greet you at the entrance. I also don't like the check-in area... it makes me feel like going through an imaginary turnstyle. And exiting requires you to walk headlong into those trying to get in. I'm perplexed why they didn't build separate showers to be within the first lounge... instead it's shared space in the complex within the Elemis Spa. Beyond that, the description I came up with for the shower rooms are "Stormtrooper-esque"... I guess someone was living out their Death Star fantasies. The shower rooms are TINY, with tiny toilets and tiny sinks to go along with it. There's a suction drainage system, so the toilet sounds like a lav on the plane... classy! Finally, the finishing touch is the inkjet printed sign warning that anything left on the floor would get wet. BA had such an opportunity with T5, and I think they've utterly failed in their first lounge. This is a lounge I definitely would not go out of my way to go to.

Reason being relative to the amount of traffic this terminal gets, the lounge capacity is very limited. The waitlist can be up 45+ minutes and it's not guaranteed that everyone on the waitlist can enter before they need to board their flight. This time it appeared they were giving some priority to people who had to board sooner as long as I was willing to share a table with another customer. In this lounge the staff assign seats to each customer which isn't something you usually see, though made sense based on the small size. Since I had only about 15 minutes prior to boarding time I wasn't choosy about comfort, really just wanted to grab a quick breakfast prior to getting on the flight, so this was fine by me. There's a small bar with breakfast selection of the day being "English breakfast" items: scrambled eggs, baked beans, crispy bacon, sausage. They also had some fruit/veg juices, pancakes (via a nifty little pancake machine), a bar with limited alcoholic drinks, and regular coffee/tea options. Functional enough for a quick stop though less comfortable than some other international lounges in terms of space, but still better than many lounges in the US when comparing quality of food.

This lounge has the space as in a huge area, the relaxed vibe, the very comfortable chairs and sofas to make this the perfect stop and break when taking that 15-20 hour flight to Asia with the one stop in London. Well this stop is the best. The team here is outstanding. They have a greeter 30 feet outside the entrance. There have always been 3 staff members at the check in which is in seconds. Love the selection and top shelf beverage and wine variety. Really love the ice cream cart. Get a genuine and full English breakfast here. The handy QR codes make it so easy and convenient to order and instantly receive food, drinks and amenities right at one's seat. Enjoy the ultimate shopping experience as you jump on the " Reserve and Collect" computers to reserve and shop from any store or boutique at the airport. All this while checking out the sun teasing with a ten second appearance and the planes entering and exiting the gates a few hundred feet away The team here keeps the buffet stocked and picks up used plates in a jiffy. The sad part is leaving after settling into that beautiful LazyBoy armchair and hopping on the sometimes crowded elevator( excuse me lift) as the escalators going down are temporarily out. First Class all the way.

The lounge itself has plenty of seating all over the place. A full bar centrally located and a dining area with plenty of eating options. I was there during dinner hours, I didnt find the food to be anything special, but it was def better than whatever will be served on a plane. Be aware that this terminal is massive with its own train connecting 3 diff areas. So your flight might be up to 15-20 journey from the lounge if its in a far away gate. Would def recommend this lounge if you have access!

During certain windows, the lounge can get quite crowded. I was able to find a cosy nook during my visits. As with their other lounges, each table has a QR code menu to place orders and the items in the menu changes based on the time of the day you are in. During my morning visit, I ordered a mocha, eggs royale (smoked salmon benedict) and a green juice. During late afternoon, they offered high tea and I was pleasantly surprised by the huge basket with sandwiches, quiche, scones and pastries. Each of their food items and beverages were exceptionally good. I also used the showers which was well maintained. The bathrooms are also individually designed allowing privacy and space to freshen up, change etc.

It's a lounge for First British Airways customers located in Terminal 5 at London Heathrow. The most premium feature of our visit was being able to dine in the private pre-flight dining booths. This is basically a restaurant-type experience. The food (we ate breakfast) was good and the high partitions in the dining area gave a nice sense of privacy. The service was top-notch and this was the best part of visiting The Concorde Room. After eating, we camped out in the lounge for what was thought to be about an hour, but turned into 3 hours with multiple flight delays. Good news is that the lounge is nice and does offer some outdoor dining as well, so there was plenty of natural light, but the lounge could've benefited from more partitions and more privacy. The decor is fine, but lacked the elevation and sophistication of other first class lounge products. The part where The Concorde Room loses a star is in the bathrooms. They are rather small, gender-neutral restrooms with poor lighting and they really felt like something you would've seen in just a regular terminal. Nothing luxurious about the restrooms whatsoever. Overall, The Concorde Room definitely delivers in the dining realm, but loses its luxury focus in other aspects of its execution.

There was a smooth flow despite the airport having a lot of delayed and cancelled flights coming in post storm in the US.
