    The food.......

No restroom in the lounge. Food is not good (speaking as an American, compared to the distribution of other lounges in the US and abroad).

    Breakfast bar!

THE WORST LOUNGE EVER! NO AVAILABLE SEATS AND SHITTY FOOD! There were very limited lounge on the London terminal and l access to this lounge was free with Priority pass. There was long queue to get in. When we finally got in, there was no table to sit. The lounge was very very small with limited seating and it was over full. People were wandering waiting for seat. We saw a table being emptied at the very end and just as we were about to sit, we were told by the employee that those tables are reserved way in ADVANCE and are CHARGABLE! Wow! Not only they have limited seating but the majority of seating is chargeable and not available! After waiting for 30 mins we finally found some seat. It was lunch time but food options were super limited in general and nothing vegetarian. I wouldn't considering wasting time at this Lounge! No relaxation and no food! I mean those are the TWO main reasons why lounge exists and this lounge DOESN'T offer any of those!

Decent Heathrow AirPort Priority Lounge with not enough space for everyone and very little variety of foods and drinks! Still, compared to LAX Tom Bradley Airport which doesn't have any lounges, this lounge is far better than nonexistent one in Ghetto AirPort! Compared to Malpensa AirPort in Milan, this isn't too bad.

Upon approaching the welcome desk to the lounge, it seemed discouraging due to the line, however, it was a godsend to spot the banner to the right which allowed you to scan a QR code and enter the queue virtually. We thought it was a hopeless pursuit, but not 5 minutes later -- and after having walked away considerably -- I received a text that they were ready to receive us. The line from before appeared to be travelers checking in after receiving their text messages. That being said, the check-in process is a little slow and could use some improvement. Regardless, once we eventually made it to the front, check-in was a breeze with my Priority Pass. The lounge is situated near floor-to-archway glass windows therefore in the morning, seating might not be ideal. This was the case with our arrangement as the boy was in direct sunlight, haha. The lounge is quite packed with seats but were comfy enough and with outlets that were in working condition. There is a full bar with complimentary pints on tap. Food was self serve and was OK with lots of selection. Although simple, it was a nice touch. I was saddened the mini pancake maker was glitchy, but the fast free wifi and serviceable staff members making their rounds regularly made for a lovely enough experience.

Love to stay here. I really like the bar and the food which is always filled fresh. I think the lounges gets more crowded than the past and they've stopped the free entering. So I had to wait about 40 minutes for a table. You better should book in advance and make a reservation. Will cost around 5 but it's worth it. Biggest minus: there are no restrooms

    The view from our booth.

This lounge has the space as in a huge area, the relaxed vibe, the very comfortable chairs and sofas to make this the perfect stop and break when taking that 15-20 hour flight to Asia with the one stop in London. Well this stop is the best. The team here is outstanding. They have a greeter 30 feet outside the entrance. There have always been 3 staff members at the check in which is in seconds. Love the selection and top shelf beverage and wine variety. Really love the ice cream cart. Get a genuine and full English breakfast here. The handy QR codes make it so easy and convenient to order and instantly receive food, drinks and amenities right at one's seat. Enjoy the ultimate shopping experience as you jump on the " Reserve and Collect" computers to reserve and shop from any store or boutique at the airport. All this while checking out the sun teasing with a ten second appearance and the planes entering and exiting the gates a few hundred feet away The team here keeps the buffet stocked and picks up used plates in a jiffy. The sad part is leaving after settling into that beautiful LazyBoy armchair and hopping on the sometimes crowded elevator( excuse me lift) as the escalators going down are temporarily out. First Class all the way.

We didn't have a whole lot of time between connections to order from the QR menu which could have made this review higher. First of all, it's a modern looking lounge with great accommodations. I love that they have a row of private & clean restrooms that have their own sink and scented diffusers. They are very spacious with no unpleasant smells that I could detect despite it being a public restroom. It appeared to be very well-maintained. The coffee & tea bar was a huge highlight. It had French croissant pastries and Union Hand-Roasted Coffee. It was the best part of the lounge in my opinion. The views of the runway were also wonderful. We saw some very large jumbo planes taking off and landing from our comfy seats. It was a relaxing lounge. We were there at breakfast time. The breakfast bar had a good variety. It could have been better had the English muffins been toasted. I'm not sure why British Airways doesn't have toasters in their lounges. What's the point of having butter nearby? I tried to make a bacon roll out of it, and it just didn't work for me. My husband asked if there was any way to toast it, and they said no. So, they won't toast it for you. I did see other rolls there that may have been a better choice but I'd already placed the muffin on my plate. Other than that, it was an okay buffet for a British breakfast. I didn't see the ice cream cart that everyone talks about. That may be because it was too early for that. There's a good selection of alcohol as well. I have a feeling that ordering from the made-to-order menu is the way to go here, and especially if they have that Loch Fyne salmon that I had on the way back from Edinburgh. It was still a nice upgrade from the typical British Airways Lounge. Hopefully I can update this review again when we return.

It's a lounge for First British Airways customers located in Terminal 5 at London Heathrow. The most premium feature of our visit was being able to dine in the private pre-flight dining booths. This is basically a restaurant-type experience. The food (we ate breakfast) was good and the high partitions in the dining area gave a nice sense of privacy. The service was top-notch and this was the best part of visiting The Concorde Room. After eating, we camped out in the lounge for what was thought to be about an hour, but turned into 3 hours with multiple flight delays. Good news is that the lounge is nice and does offer some outdoor dining as well, so there was plenty of natural light, but the lounge could've benefited from more partitions and more privacy. The decor is fine, but lacked the elevation and sophistication of other first class lounge products. The part where The Concorde Room loses a star is in the bathrooms. They are rather small, gender-neutral restrooms with poor lighting and they really felt like something you would've seen in just a regular terminal. Nothing luxurious about the restrooms whatsoever. Overall, The Concorde Room definitely delivers in the dining realm, but loses its luxury focus in other aspects of its execution.

Going through security here can be…read morea hit or miss experience, but I totally appreciate the thoroughness and care taken to keep us all safe. The long walk to the bus transfer between terminals is really what brings the rating down. It's always very crowded due to the fact that it's the primary terminal for British Airways. I corrected a mistake in my previous review of Terminal 3. The Fortnum & Mason shop is actually in Terminal 5. It's so easy to confuse the two after a long flight. Anyway, this particular location even has a bar in front of it where you can sip on champagne and nibble on canapés (if that's your thing). I just love to browse through the tea & biscuit section of the shop to see what's new. Sure, there are other great shops as well as food options on this side of the airport. I just love F&M tea! The British Airways Gallerie Club and First Lounges are above it. There's also an exclusive lounge called The Concorde Room that I'd love to try one day. So, I've read that British Airways will be starting a new direct route from Tampa to Heathrow (replacing Gatwick) towards the end of this year. I hope that this means it will arrive at BA's Terminal 5 hub. If so, then I'll be super grateful for the convenience of a smooth connection. If not, then I'll just be happy to have more connection possibilities to other countries. Either way, I'm thinking this is great for OneWorld travelers booking through American Airlines out of TPA. I'll update this review the next time we fly into this airport. Here's hoping for good vibes and good connections when passing through London.

My flight was leaving from one of the satellite Gates in terminal five, and the Heathrow staff very kindly suggested I head that way with plenty of time. As someone who lived in the UK for a couple of years, I always love transiting through Heathrow so I can stop at boots to pick up a couple of my favorite drugstore items. There's tons of shopping in terminal five as well as several dining options.
