This is a fantastic lounge located inside of the Barcelona airport! You need to go through security and there are signs that will direct you to an elevator on the left. This will take you to the entrance of the lounge. All of the employees are very friendly and the lounge itself was pretty clean. The bathrooms were clean and the concierge desk had plenty of kits available upon request: dental, sewing, shaving, etc. Very helpful instead of trying to dig through your carry on for necessities. The food buffet was very nice and had a good variety of pastries, salads, sandwiches, yogurts, fruit, pizzas, cold cuts, and Spanish dishes. They also had a bunch of flavored waters, fruit juices, cappuccino machine, bottled waters, beer, wine and more. A lot of the food was very good and this was the perfect recharge spot before getting on my flight. The lounge had lots of seating and great views of the duty free shopping area below us. read more

The food was tasty but the hot food isn't. It's lukewarm. This is despite the fact they don't put huge amounts out. The sweet treats (2 choices) taste good. The machine dispensed cappuccino is acrid and awful. The Coke Zero is from a pump contraption so tastes like bleach. The drinks glasses are warm, but no ice although the bar might have ice. If so they should put some at the soft drinks dispenser. Seating isn't comfortable with comfy places empty but marked reserved. I find it hard to believe one can reserve and not appear at all for over two hours. WiFi good. Staff within courteous and friendly unless you head for an empty reserved seat but they appear to know we aren't reserved guests - funny that. Male toilets in poor condition as not attended frequently enough. This lounge gets the job done... there's food and bottomless drinks of all kinds including wines, self-serve coffees, sodas, infused waters etc. That said, it has super nice, high class parts with very comfortable seats and some very meh seating. I have a huge problem with the staff seating lone diners on the hard, uncomfortable seating area whereas couples and families are sat in the more comfortable seats and cuter parts of the lounge even though we all pay the same for our memberships. A on the other hand, they also have a cinema where guests can sit to watch movies and I think that's pretty helpful for travelers with teens. The seating discrimination for solo travelers and somewhat bland breakfast options were not the best tbh but the overall vibe of the place, free drinks, and enthusiastic staff leave you feeling good. Also, I don't think it's fair to judge their food options overall if I haven't had lunch or dinner there so tbd. I would go back for drinks and vibes with a group. read more

This is a spacious lounge in Heathrow airport which we checked out waiting for a connection flight. The yogurt bowl station was my favorite with Greek yogurt and plenty of berries and topping options. Coffee machines were excellent and drinks came out nice and hot. Pastries such as pain Au chocolate and plain croissants were fresh. There was also standard British hot breakfast available. 3.5 stars and rounded down for a couple reasons. This is the first lounge I've ever been to where they seat you in specific seats instead of allowing for general seating. When they seat you, they call out to the staff that brings you to your seat --easily audible to half the lounge--your level of entry access (ie. whether you're accessing the lounge via a specific credit card, business class tickets, lounge pass, etc.) which to me is kind of awkward. Like maybe you don't want to share with half the lounge what credit card you use. (Or maybe you do...if that's how you roll...) And they could be a bit more discreet if they were going to seat you by hierarchy, which they did--if you were business class you got the larger leather sofas and lovseats, if not you were seated at various other seating. Second, for the moderate busy-ness they were experiencing for an early evening crowd, there was only one staff manning the entrance. I had the unfortunate circumstance of being behind a customer who was trying to get a third person in his party free entry while his credit card only covered two people. (he was adamant in adding both his wife and mom to his entry without paying and was arguing with the staff member about it) this was not the fault of the staff for sure, however it took about 15 minutes to resolve and the line was steadily growing longer behind them which I felt could've been avoided by opening a second line. The lounge itself is pretty well maintained, very clean, moderate food options, not as many drink options, though they do have a bar and bartender available. Context: I only came because I have priority pass This lounge is so nice compared to the Aspire lounge, come here first if there's room. It's spacious, there's nice views of the planes, open bar, and a small hot buffet. The day I came the food was curry with rice, string beans, mashed potatoes, brats, and gravy. The food was mediocre but I'd rather take this free food than paying $15 for mediocre airport food. Open bar was also really nice. I'll be back again next time I'm at Heathrow. read more

When I came to get my "free champagne" it was not even Champagne, just a small glass of sparkling wine (which normally costs 12 pounds sterling). The pour was so small I barely had a smigen of a taste, and when I wanted to get another, the server had disappeared. Then I wondered over to the food area where there were about 12 pots of what looked like various stews - not looking very appetizing and some wedges of cheese cut up. Truly the buffet selections did not look inviting and or appetizing. Truly the lounge is a very poor imitation of a true Airline lounge of which I have visited quite a few. I would have only given one star; however, I did appreciate the singular bathroom facilities that were clean, private, and a nice change from the majority of mass airport facilities that are provided to the public. The view of the airport was nice, but the place was crowded with limited seating options. Overall, the value is poor in terms of what is given for the pre-paid fee. read more

This is a pretty good airport lounge all things considered. It's not the nicest out there, very limited food options, often a little overcrowded, and the ambiance isn't the best due to how noisy it often is, but it's not bad and the food they do have is fairly decent, or at least better than what you'll get on a plane. The seats are pretty comfortable, it's got reliable fast charging along with good WiFi. And it's certainly a lot better than sitting at a gate. There's another issue that, despite being a popular lounge at a massive hub airport the has travelers from all around the world, the only wall outlet charging available is either British outlets or USB. The host who greeted me at the reception was friendly. She was very patient when handling a customer who asked a lot of questions in front of me. I used my priority pass to enter, or else it costs 40 pounds to get in. When I ordered my complimentary meal, the servers were chatting. They did not stop their conversation immediately after they saw me waiting. One of them finally attended to me, but she then let a man cut in front of me. I ordered a chicken panang. It was ok as I cannot complaint about food at the airport lounge. The server at the bar asked me if I wanted any alcohol. She looked shocked when I said no. I then had to state that I do not drink alcohol. This was a good place to hangout when waiting for my flight. Comfortable environment. At Heathrow Airport, we tried their No. Lounge before heading back to NYC. It was quite big, modern, and with loads of seating. This is more than just a lounge, it comes with bedrooms and travel spa! We took advantage of their Cinema room. There were barely anyone in here, so most of the time, we got to have our own, private cinema. Sweet! The food spread was more of "snacks" than real food. Mainly fruits, breads, salads... They had some baked goods, they were not bad at all. We got ourselves some Rosé Champagne, and it was really nice! With our Priority Passes, we were allowed to have one complimentary dish off their food menu. I went with Macaroni & Cheese. You could get truffle oil on request, so I put in that request. It came out nice and creamy, but didn't get any aroma or flavor of truffle. Did they put tiny amount of it, or maybe they forgot??? It was not as delicious as I wanted it to be. My hubby made a better choice, and went with Butternut Squash Curry. It was much more flavorful than the mac & cheese. It had a nice little kick to it, which we enjoyed. Overall, it was a nice, relaxing lounge. The staffs frequently go around, picking up plates and glasses, keeping the area clean. It was a good little break before getting onto the plane. read more

I recently had a long layover in London and unfortunately, my lowly Gold Medallion status with Delta only qualified me for 3 hours in this lounge (me? bitter much?). The whole purpose of a lounge is to have some food and drinks and relax a bit in between flights. No. 1 delivered on the drinks, which were served up efficiently and with a smile. Cheers there. The food situation is ok. Some a small buffet-style variety that caters to vegetarians and travellers of different cultures. For me, that equals cheese, bread, and some cold cuts with some salad. Nothing to write home about. The biggest drawback is that this really is the "steerage lounge", in my opinion. It can get very crowded, and you may find yourself challenged to find a place to sit. My other issue is that the "spa" has still not reopened. I was coming off a long haul flight and had another long haul flight ahead of me, so I was really looking forward to hopping in the shower. So drinks? CHECK! Food? Meh, it worked in a pinch Relaxting? NOPE! Shower? NOPE! This is still better than spending 5 hours in the terminal spending too much for lackluster food, but I don't think I'd pay to use this lounge. read more

We had a few options for lounges at Heathrow. But all the reviews said this place was the best, (after security, at least). I tend to agree, this was one of the better lounges I've been to. When we arrived, we were handed a menu with a bunch of different options. And they make it for you and bring it out to you. A little disappointed that it's not a buffet or you could order as much as you want. But they gave us pretty good food. We tried the chorizo potato stew and the squash curry. The curry came with rice but the stew did not, though I wish it did. I preferred the stew though. This was top notch, restaurant quality food. They also had one table full of salad and soup and snacks, that was unlimited. And of course, there is a full bar and another area for soda or coffee. I would definitely come back to this lounge if I'm back in London again. read more

I'm grateful for my Chase Sapphire Reserve card as it gives me access to Priority Pass lounges across multiple airports, including this No. 1 lounge at Heathrow. The lounge itself is very modern and spacious. It boasts a large bar, lounge seating near the bar, and comfy chairs throughout the space. Your entrance includes complimentary adult beverages, as well as one entree per person. They also have a continental style buffet for you to choose from muffins, cheeses, fruits etc. I opted for a rosé bubbly and a smoked salmon salad. The salmon was fresh, and of course the bubbly was delightful. My boo got a fried fish wrap, which was also good! The lounge has a cinema, lots of outlets, and is overall a comfy place to rest before your flight. Just be sure to check the screen at the bar for your boarding updates so you don't get TOO comfortable and realize your flight is on final boarding. There's multiple rooms in this lounge including the library, a club room and more. Almost all seats are located right by an outlet. All chairs are comfy and you will feel right at home. They asked me to take the bar even though many other seating places were available. The staff takes you to a specific seat, which is not a terrible idea. I asked why and they said they keep other areas for those who have reservations. I was like okay, but I see several places open, and I can wait and take that as soon as it's ready. Half an hour passed, and I was the only one at the bar with other seats still free. There were others coming without reservations after me and were being seated elsewhere. I checked with them again, but they lied to my face that everyone is coming with a reservation. An hour passed and this continued. No one was sitting at the bar. Basically once you are in, why bother giving any additional service? They already received whatever money they could get. Absolutely horrific service. If you are looking for a relaxing break with silence or a bite to eat don't come here. Where do I even begin? I suppose I should start with the staff, or better yet, the lack of staff. With around four members for around 200 guests they are extremely overwhelmed, and I felt very sorry for them until I got to the front of the 15 minute queue at the bar and was met with aggressive tone and left with warm beer and a slammed glass of half filled champagne. There was no forks and the bartender was also the check inn clerk and washing the dishes! LOL. Again I feel very sorry for them I know this is out of their control but from a customer experience I would have rather sat at a fast food restaurant. We were also sat in the "cinema" room which was practically a separate room filled with extra tables and chair it was seriously sad. I feel bad for the designers and engineers and anyone who had a positive business model for this lounge :( read more

Having Priority Pass, I hesitated to pay the 6GBP booking fee that ensures entry: after all, the membership is meant to be inclusive. But having experienced the just-OK Aspire lounge in T5 on my flight in, I was looking for something better ... and this place was worth the fee. Entry included a small buffet and a small dish prepared from the menu. Coffee machine was good, and the included beer & liquor were all a step above the average Priority Pass standard. We had a long wait time prior to flight so we decided to check out No1 Lounge. There's a card for complimentary champagne after checking in. Inside the lounge, there were plenty of seating area, though at that time it was almost at capacity. The spa, VIP room and movies were not available. There's a small selection of food - rice, chicken, naan on one side and another set on the other. If you choose to skip it, you won't be missing out. There's also a handful of fruits, as well as soda and coffee. The bar was enticing but I stuck to a cup of tea. By the time we left, there's a sign outside that they are no longer accepting walk-ins, only members with pre booking. Overall it's just a better place to wait out your flight. Foodwise they seem to offer a variety of snacks and drinks, as well as bar service. They also offer several complimentary meal options which you must order at the bar. We found the Moroccan chicken really tasty. There is a small spa as well as showers inside, but these come at an additional cost. I arrived at Heathrow with a friend who had a earlier flight. So, I had a little time to kill before it was time for me to take off. After doing a little shopping, I found the No. 1 airline, which offered me complimentary entrance due to my status on Delta. It was mid-morning and the continental breakfast fare was displayed nicely on a serving counter. In addition to that, they also had a small menu from which you could order, with no additional fees. The menu was divided into "before 11 AM" and "after 11 AM". The morning offerings included a Belgian waffle, eggs, or a bacon roll. In the afternoon, they had vegetable ragu, chicken caesar pita, and cottage pie. I got the Belgian waffle, which was small and sweet. It was perfect for a quick bite to accompany fruit and yogurt. This was a nice place to relax for a little while before my flight. The employees were all quite friendly, the restroom facilities were very clean, and the wifi worked well. read more

I came to No. 1 Lounge for the shower. A shower only costs 10 pounds and allows for untimed use of a private shower room that locks and also has a toilet and bench inside. A towel and shampoo are provided for free. The lounge is located upstairs and it's easy to follow the signs to find it. This was a great break from the bustle of Heathrow and allowed for me to keep going for the long day ahead after a night flight. read more
