Lounge was clean and service was friendly. Comfortable seating and only reason for not giving five stars is the food choices were limited. Drinks were excellent and there were many snacks to choose from. Nice clean lounge when flying American Airlines or British Airways

There are two areas in the lounge the admirals club and the international first class lounge. I never noticed the International 1st class lounge because I was always shown to the Admiral's clubs but this time. Maybe I got an upgrade. Food and drinks seem to be similar in both areas as well as the place to plug in your laptop or your phone. Free Wi-Fi throughout et cetera. Often overlooked are the free showers. I took several photos of the shower rooms take advantage and feel better before your next flight.

The food has gotten a lot, *lot* better over the last year or so - upgraded bubbly (Moet imperial and moet rose!) and actually acceptable buffet options. The wifi is, as always, wicked fast, but the view has completely gone to s**t - there is a T3 extension in front of the windows Bottom line - if you're EXP, head to the cathay lounge for the food and the view, unless you need the wifi...

"Brexit" has prompted me to review BA's partners at LHR. Hoping we can stick around yea? ;) Honestly, the only reason why I came to AA's flagship lounge was to see how my beloved airline back home fared on the international scene. Needless to say, it ended up being a good lounge, albeit basic compared to the obvious heavy hitters of BA lounges found in Heathrow. Being an international lounge, I was pleased that there was at least complimentary bites and free flowing drinks available to guests. There were even fresh fruit smoothies- something I hadn't seen elsewhere around LHR. Lunch hours had chicken curry (yum) and some plain pasta with your choice of sauce. I'd skip this option if I were you. Being one of the lesser known lounges, there was an abundance of space during my visit. If you're looking to escape Galleries' crowds, then AA is a decent option to turn to.

Menu to order!!

Great lounge for food and rest. Now very crowded and they have a la carte menu for ordering individual items in addition to various ready-to-eat buffet station. Breakfast offers healty yogurt, fruit and cereals as well as eggs, sausages, muffins and etc. I thought it was much better than BA lounge. It's relatively small compared to BA lounge but not many people. I might take AA just to use this lounge over BA.

Available laptops, Internet comfy working chairs.

American Airline admiral lounge at Heathrow airport (terminal 3) is below the expected standard of such major airline name at a such a major hub. It is relaxing with free wifi, shower areas. Etc But the food selection is very similar to what you would expect at a school cafeteria.

Breakfast area.

During certain windows, the lounge can get quite crowded. I was able to find a cosy nook during my visits. As with their other lounges, each table has a QR code menu to place orders and the items in the menu changes based on the time of the day you are in. During my morning visit, I ordered a mocha, eggs royale (smoked salmon benedict) and a green juice. During late afternoon, they offered high tea and I was pleasantly surprised by the huge basket with sandwiches, quiche, scones and pastries. Each of their food items and beverages were exceptionally good. I also used the showers which was well maintained. The bathrooms are also individually designed allowing privacy and space to freshen up, change etc.

Reason being relative to the amount of traffic this terminal gets, the lounge capacity is very limited. The waitlist can be up 45+ minutes and it's not guaranteed that everyone on the waitlist can enter before they need to board their flight. This time it appeared they were giving some priority to people who had to board sooner as long as I was willing to share a table with another customer. In this lounge the staff assign seats to each customer which isn't something you usually see, though made sense based on the small size. Since I had only about 15 minutes prior to boarding time I wasn't choosy about comfort, really just wanted to grab a quick breakfast prior to getting on the flight, so this was fine by me. There's a small bar with breakfast selection of the day being "English breakfast" items: scrambled eggs, baked beans, crispy bacon, sausage. They also had some fruit/veg juices, pancakes (via a nifty little pancake machine), a bar with limited alcoholic drinks, and regular coffee/tea options. Functional enough for a quick stop though less comfortable than some other international lounges in terms of space, but still better than many lounges in the US when comparing quality of food.

After our negative experience with British Airways customer service, my friend and I spent a couple…read morehours shopping in the terminal then headed to No. 1 Lounge since it was the one closest to where we happened to be in the terminal. The line was out the door with a 30 minute wait (and frankly not my favorite lounge, see my separate review of that one), and thankfully they told us to head to My Lounge which had more availability. They are both run by the same company, with My Lounge being recently remodeled and reopened (previously Club Aspire) in the past few months. Walking into the lounge it's decorated with a cozy vibe, think textured brick walls, warm jewel tone tweed textures on the furniture with medium wood accents in the floor and bookshelves, reminiscent of a modern family room. Seating inside looks roughly enough for about 100 people, at mostly lounge chairs and couches. There's decent spacing so that it doesn't feel too crowded. Check-in counter is immediately inside the entrance, at around 10:30am it wasn't too crowded, we were able to enter right away. Later on when we left around 1pm there was a short wait of about 10-15 minutes. Directly to the right of the check-in, there's a small, more private lounge room with seating for about 8-10 which is where we parked ourselves. Walking left past the check-in counter the space opens up to a bar serving liquor and cocktails, and a food bar along the wall. They had breakfast food set out, including yogurt, smoothies, granola and cereal, cut fruit, bread and mini pastries, and warm food including all the elements of a traditional English breakfast including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, toast, roasted tomatoes, roasted potatoes. There was also a pancake station which I've seen at a couple other Europe lounges, and you can basically pour your own batter and it goes through a mini oven and pops out cooked on the other side. Around noon they also set out lunch food though we didn't end up eating much of that. Free WiFi is available and strong. There are screens scattered around the lounge with airline info though similar to other lounges no announcements are made, so you have to keep track of your own boarding time. Bathrooms are in decent shape. Normal hours are 5:00am to 10:00pm. Not a bad place to spend a few hours, would def stop by again if I lay over at Heathrow Terminal 3! The lounge is stunning. It's huge, bright, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer some great tarmac views. The decor was solid - I think I read the words "premium corporate" somewhere lol.. Vintage photography, some cool tree decor, blues, golds, etc... Overall a sophisticated and welcoming vibe. The service was definitely proactive and polished. From the warm greeting at reception to the attentive staff who are constantly clearing plate and restocking the buffet, I felt well looked after. A special shoutout to the shower suite attendants. The facilities were immaculate. I had been up all night trying to time my inner-clock & avoid jet lag, so the warm shower was perfect before my flight. The food was solid, but not terribly exciting. Given the reputation of this lounge, I was expecting a bit more variety, but was met with a standard English breakfast. There wasn't much in the way of elevated options, though it was tasty nonetheless. And the bar was beautiful, though nobody was really partaking given it was 6:30 in the morning. All in all, solid experience. I'm looking forward to returning and enjoying the lunch/dinner options plus the beautiful bar.
