Last year, an elderly receptionist bluntly lied and told me Dr. Severin was not in the office and they assigned me another doctor without any notification/heads-up. While sitting in the waiting room I heard Dr. Severin's voice and asked the assistant about it. She told me yes, that was him. I was very upset to be told lies!! The assistant was very nice and apologized. I told her I needed to know the reason why I was told a lie. Very unprofessional! She said an office manager wasn't there and asked me if I wanted a follow-up. I said yes and NOBODY ever called back!! Obviously they didn't give a shit of my concern! My last visit this week, after finishing up seeing Dr. Severin one of the girls (short hair, young) rolled her eyes when I asked "when is the latest time to schedule a follow up appointment?" She looked so annoyed and unbothered with my very simple question. That kind of attitude was not tolerable! I didn't see her treated Caucasian patients like that. Well, now that Dr. Severin is retiring then this office has no value for me to continue my eye care. I will find another glaucoma specialist who has decent, helpful and friendly staff. Lucia was helpful in getting the Rx faxed over to my pharmacy in a timely manner. Sometimes eye meds aren't covered by insurance or that particular pharmacy. So I needed to check another pharmacy who had a manufacturer's coupon. Took them in to these ladies to see what could be done to fix them. My glasses were ordered within the past year and are fully covered to be replaced FOR FREE! They ordered my glasses will call me when hey arrive. Okay, so that's great news, but here's where the customer service comes in. They wanted to keep my glasses so they can efficiently replace the lenses when the frames come in. Well that means I'd have to drive home with blurry vision. No bueno. So, what did they do?
