He does not see you as another number on a spreadsheet for a quota. You can tell, by interacting with him, he is passionate about helping people with the most important thing in their lives: their ability to clearly see the world around them. He is making the world a better place by making peoples lives better. He has made MY life far, far better. I was kept waiting for 45 minutes for pupil dilation and my appointment took at least one hour 15 minutes. I hope they improve the front desk and scheduling.

The doctor told me to make an appointment right when I got my contacts. The receptionist refused to do so. When I finally got an appointment I was told oh that's the best we can do. For way too long I cannot see. I had to buy a new phone. I couldn't drive at night I couldn't read things at the store. Everything was a struggle. Thank God one of the contacts broke-- thanks so much lens crafters---I now see perfectly. I complained to the receptionist several times and she would not make me an appointment prior to this. I love Dr. Mann-but she didn't take my insurance. The replacement that they got for the eye doctor for contacts was absolutely horrible compared to the one that they previously had. Not only where her prescription is wrong she was also very spicy. ( unfortunately, I don't know her name) hopefully she's no longer there along with a spicy receptionist. Also, I have experienced multiple medical errors from medical receptionist that are spicy. I really wish they would be trained to listen to the patient. The receptionist and schedulers were racist and very rude. They were full of attitudes and not helpful at all. There were always at least 3-4 staff sitting at the front desk/schedule desk but they never pick up the phone! Try calling them if you don't believe me. Last year, an elderly receptionist bluntly lied and told me Dr. Severin was not in the office and they assigned me another doctor without any notification/heads-up. While sitting in the waiting room I heard Dr. Severin's voice and asked the assistant about it. She told me yes, that was him. I was very upset to be told lies!! The assistant was very nice and apologized. I told her I needed to know the reason why I was told a lie. Very unprofessional! She said an office manager wasn't there and asked me if I wanted a follow-up. I said yes and NOBODY ever called back!! Obviously they didn't give a shit of my concern! My last visit this week, after finishing up seeing Dr. Severin one of the girls (short hair, young) rolled her eyes when I asked "when is the latest time to schedule a follow up appointment?" And while Dr. Drucker is outstanding, be advised that the office staff is not nearly as capable as the doctor himself - with Rosa as the lone exception. If you call, you'll get a disinterested monotone on the other end of the line, with no comprehension or desire to resolve your issue. Again, ask for Rosa, and this problem solves itself. I'm hoping he has no immediate plans for retirement - he's one of the good ones.
