Brinkley's is awesome! I stayed at the courtyard for a couple of days after flying in from Martha's Vineyard. I was tired and hungry. The Friendly manager, Leon recommended that I have the burger at Brinkley's. It had to be one of the best burgers that I've ever ate. It came piping hot along with some delicious french fries and a pickle. I really enjoyed my meal. What made it even better was the service. Very attentive and super accommodating. I also enjoyed the quiet but friendly ambience. There were several large TVs around the bar area. The lighting was perfect for the evening mode and there was ample comfortable seating to enjoy. I would highly recommend stopping by Brinkleys if you're at the Courtyard or even in the local area. The burger is worth it! read more

While the food was edible, the people are con artists. I should have known something was up when they handed me and others their bills immediately upon receipt of our orders. They attributed a tip of over 50% erroneously. Thankfully, I was tipped off (no pun intended) when reviewing my bill at checkout of the hotel, and saw that the burger and beer at last night's dinner amounted to $50. When I brought it up, they said, that was a glitch with the new system. Yes, sure. And my tribute to them is to notify everyone else that they will be robbed. I would have made a bigger deal and demanded a full refund, had I not been so tired from the layover due to a canceled flight. Who would have thought I'd get the best lobster roll of my Maine / New Hampshire trip on the very last evening after checking into the Boston Logan Airport Marriott Courtyard before my early morning flight? Not wanting to walk to what looked like a bunch of mediocre choices, we decide to go to the hotel bistro. Having just had a lobster roll from one of the highly recommended joints in Ogunquit, I wasn't expecting much. Boy was I surprised! For the exact same price ($34), this roll was chock full of lobster. Even though it was mayo-based in an aioli, which I normally don't prefer to the butter-based rolls, it was light enough and came with a container of clarified butter on the side. The fries and pickle in place of the bag of chips was also a welcome addition. I believe it was the chef who personally delivered it to the table, and he should DEFINITELY be proud of his creation! As hotel restaurants go, this is very good! I had the Clam Chowder and Fish and Chips and both were surprisingly very tasty! The portion of Fish was huge and cooked perfectly. The chowder had noticeable pieces of clam and was authentic. So thankfully I did not need to leave the hotel to search out a restaurant after my flight in. read more

First off -- great hotel experience -- friendly front desk, brought us up a crib to our room for our infant son, clean hotel & GREAT lobby restaurant! Brinkley's, their lobby restaurant, exceeded our expectations. Our server was very attentive. They are open till 11pm! We flew in late (arrived around 10pm) and were starving, so it was amazing to still be able to order food at that hour! My husband got a burger, I ordered the chilli. We also shared their clam chowder. Everything tasted phenomenal. So impressed. Drinks were great too! My husband had the Dark & Stormy and I had the Harpoon IPA. We also came back the next morning for breakfast. Very large portions and again kitchen did a great job. So delicious. I landed in the afternoon tired from travel. Stayed at Courtyard Marriot minutes from Logan. I was happy to not have to leave the hotel. This restaurant was onsite. The clam chowder was excellent. I had a cup thinking I would eat a burger too. Silly me! The chowder was thick and hearty. I could have stopped there but the burger looked too good. Patricia was great! This restaurant is located downstairs in the lobby area at the Courtyard Marriott Boston Logan Airport. It is a warm and cozy location, and staff are professional and personable. We stayed at the Courtyard, so it was very convenient to have this restaurant located at the hotel. I figured since the restaurant was located at the hotel that we could order room service, but unfortunately room service was not an option. We called the restaurant and ordered some food to go then picked it up. We ordered 3 lobster rolls and 3 New England Clam Chowders. We received a call that our order was ready within 15 - 20 minutes after ordering. We were happy that it didn't take too long because we were starving. The pick up process was simple. We went to the bar area at the restaurant and found that our order was already packaged and waiting. The attendant quickly rang up our takeout order and processed my payment. They were all friendly and professional. The New England Clam Chowder was thick and rich just as I like it. It could've used a little black pepper and maybe a pinch of salt but otherwise it was good. The lobster roll was fresh, and the lobster was cooked well. The lobster could have definitely used some more seasoning and perhaps some herbs; nevertheless, the texture of the lobster was perfect. Okay, here's the thing. I was getting on a plane for the first time since February 2020 and flying out of Boston Logan at 7:54am (air travel is actually hypothetical, that plane didn't actually get airborne until 9:45am...). I live in Vermont. Driving the 2.5 hrs to Logan isn't bad. Parking at Logan IS bad. But! We have The Dartmouth Coach. Which, for $39, will deliver me, and my luggage, directly to my departure terminal. My problem was I'd have to get on the 3:25am Dartmouth Coach to make my flight and THAT seemed really terrible. So I decided to check out my Marriott app to see about staying at a hotel near the airport the night before. Which is how I wound up using a Free Night Award to stay at The Courtyard by Marriott near Logan Airport. I cannot imagine why anyone would willingly stay at this hotel without a free night. I also got an upgrade to a suite. I'll say again, I have NO IDEA why anyone would pay for that suite... The hotel is OLD. And TIRED. But it's carrying on! Like the rest of us. The staff at the hotel was pretty great though. And I do enjoy periodically dipping my toe into the parallel universe of The World of Air Travel. It's weird. Before making my reservation at The Courtyard By Marriott I made sure there was a restaurant on site that was open late. Because I would be working my usual day (wake up 5:30am, take care of dogs/animals, cook/prep/schedule/stock/troubleshot at The Hartland Diner 6:30am-4pm, then get on the 5:05pm bus to Boston) and after my 2hrs 45min bus ride to Terminal A and 15 min ride in the hotel shuttle bus (the shocks for which went, entirely, about 10 years ago...WOW) and checking in (when I discovered that I'd made my reservation for the wrong night and the LOVELY front desk guy switched it for me), dropping my bags in the hotel room and stripping off the outer layer of fleecy jammy pants I wanted to get directly to the bar. Which I did. And, as I said, it's weird in there. In kind of a fun way though. This is NOT a young person's spot. When the bartender (a GROWN woman, like myself) told me I didn't have to wait to be seated and tapped the bar top like "sit right here honey" I practically hopped up onto that bar stool. I was LOVING the Grown Diner Waitress serving drinks vibes!! And I LOVE seeing we "seasoned" women on the service frontlines. I ordered a gin and tonic. It was terrible! Because the tonic was entirely flat. Which is the problem with 99.999% of gin and tonics. So I'm gonna chalk that one up to operator error. I ordered two apps: fried pickles - meh - someone left them in the fryer too long, but not terrible; Buffalo Cauliflower - a little weird, it had been steamed and then kind of "seared"?? And then covered in hot sauce and blue cheese dressing. If I hadn't been so stubborn and actually cut the cauliflower smaller it would have been easier to eat. I was expecting fried cauliflower. But I got actual cauliflower and just as well. Because! I then ordered the Beer Battered Fish Sandwich. Which comes with either regular fries or sweet potato. I got regular. I think this might be the best fried fish sandwich I've ever had. Fish was fried AMAZINGLY crispy and the batter was delicious! The bun had also been grilled to perfection. The sandwich is served with lettuce and tomato and I didn't add anything to it. No sauce. Nothing. So when I tell you this was a DELICIOUS, EXCEPTIONAL fish sandwich I'm talking about the actual, unadorned ingredients. And. The Fries. Some of the best fries I've ever had. SO GOOD. Thick cut, with skin, but also crispy. (I don't like soggy fries). And plenty of them. The only reason I didn't finish every little scrap of French Fry on my plate was because I was officially feeling uncomfortably full. Which, honestly, is usually my goal when I'm eating out. I want food so good I stuff myself. If you find yourself in the vicinity of Logan Airport, or at this Courtyard by Marriott, GET THE FISH SANDWICH. It is a whole, delicious meal! read more

Brinkleys is located inside the Marriott Courtyard near Logan Airport. I rarely eat in hotel restaurants as I like to explore the local area when traveling. However, I made an exception in this case, and I'm glad I did. Due to Covid, the bar is open with only take away food orders. The menu is limited, but certainly adequate. I ordered the Harvest Salad and the Bostonian Burger for a total of $28 ($10 salad + $18 burger with fries). I know, the prices deserve their own tea party. The Harvest Salad was amazing. It came in a large biodegradable box and, believe it or not, very well presented. The sides of the box were lined with strips of cucumber. The salad was large and contained lots of fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, squash, cucumbers along with lots of mixed greens and lettuce. The dressing came in a separate container. The croutons were a mixture of different types of bread. They appeared to be produced in house. The Bostonian is an upscale hamburger with cheese, bacon, and greens and tomato. It is supposed to have barbecue sauce, but that was left out. The patty appeared to be roughly 1/3 pound. Many restaurants found that if they list a burger as 1/3 pound, many customers think it is actually less than 1/4 pound. That is understandable because you are larger in 4th grade than you are in 3rd grade. Anyway, the burger was outstanding and actually tasted like steak. The fries were slightly smaller than steak fries and were fresh as well. If you are staying at the Marriott, or are close by, you might want to give it a try. read more

I can't comment on the food/drinks here because I never got a menu. I asked a waitress for one and was deferred to the bartender. I waited an unreasonable amount of time for a menu, so I left early. The other 1 star reviews which have been posted over the decades make a lot of sense. You are better off skipping this joint and going into town if you want to grab a bite and get a drink. read more

We arrived at around 1030pm on a Saturday to check in to the Marriott hotel, where the restaurant is. We were tired & starving & hoping for a quick & decent bite. Turns out, our server Patricia was super friendly, & the food here very good. The bar was pretty busy, & people were getting takeout too. Patricia thoughtfully seated us at a larger booth so we had room to pull up our luggage. When we told her we were starving & asked if we could order as she seated us, she was ready to go! Literally 5 minutes later, we had a big bowl of hot creamy delicious chowder to share in front of us, with 2 spoons & 2 packets of oyster crackers. Barely 10 minutes after that, & we each had a big, stuffed with lightly mayo'd lobster, lobster roll with sides of melted butter, hot, crispy sweet potato fries & ketchup in front of us. I was really taken by surprise by this little lobby restaurant! I came in dejected because the seafood spot I had researched in the area for a great lobster roll ended up being cash only. And I had weathered Boston rush hour traffic in the tunnel. So really primed to hate everything. And it was so the opposite. The women behind the bar are warm and inviting and entertaining. I gave this place 1 star only because you have to give at least 1! There was no beer on tap and the only half decent beer was Harpoon IPA, bottled 05/01/23 so well over 6 months old! I ordered the pasta pappardelle with Maine lobster, the tinned tomatoes were OK, probably because they had just come out the tin! The lobster with an up charge of $18 was tough, chewy and almost flavourless and clearly had been frozen, probably packaged longer than the beer! So with $18 for the base pappardelle, the $18 lobster up charge, well over priced, and the out of date barely passable beer it $47 of fairly crap dinner!!! Booked a pre-vacation room with park and fly and decided to eat at the onsite restaurant. Food and service was betdter than expected. I ordered the fish sandwich, husband had the All American Burger. Both arrived quickly and were served very hot. Fish sandwich was one of the best I've had and the fries were so hot I had to wait a few minutes to dig in. My husband enjoyed his meal as well. Bartenders were busy but friendly. Out of towners will enjoy their Boston accents. :) We will be back for "sad drinks" and a late dinner upon our return from vacation. Reviewing the restaurant, not the hotel. Interesting, as most Courtyards these days are the redesigned kind of boring theme, order from the minimal menu at the counter, then go have a seat and wait. So unusual to have an actual restaurant. It is dated, for sure, but a nice casual place to watch Monday Night Football and have something to eat while passing through Boston. Burgers, flatbread pizza, ribs, chowder, and my choice, the baked scrod, very very good! So, not a destination spot for a date night, but pretty good for hotel fare! Acrid was excellent! read more

Brickley's pub has a large seating area, about 5-6 beers on tab and bottled options. The kitchen closes at 11 p.m. Make sure to order before. They're okay with you order some beer a little after. The chicken tenders on the bar menu are about $8 and the pieces are pretty decent size I needed some help. Late night close to 11 p.m. There's not a lot of traffic so service is decent as well. If you one during summer and like craft beer or the Samuel Adams summer ale because they offer it draft here. Other than that, the pub is pretty clean and has two flat screen TVs, you can catch your sports if needed. Next day: I came down for breakfast. This place offers a la carte menu with Omelettes and beverages. Charged separately. They also offer a special pricing buffet. Either continental (10.95) or full buffet (11.95). I highly recommend the buffet because you et to choose from a wide variety of options. For example, fluffy scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, sausage, house potatoes, cinnamon swirl toast, bagels, fruit, toast, cereal and oatmeal and it comes with drinks includes (coffee or juice). read more

Service is a bit slow, but for a hotel restaurant, it's pretty good. Had the farmhouse omelette for breakfast and the impossible burger for dinner and both were very good. The menus are very limited, but the portions are large and the food is pretty good. My only issue is the service: had to wait a long time to be seated and then had to wait awhile for service once seated. only two waitresses for the entire restaurant, however they're extremely friendly and as attentive as they can be. Also, on the website they say they offer lunch, but they're closed from 12-4pm. Only open from 6am-11am and 5pm-10pm for breakfast and dinner. read more

Most Courtyards have the typical bistro but this is different as they have a full bar and restaurant. Menu seems to be limited to burgers, sandwiches and appetizers but anything that I have had has been fresh and service friendly. Went to the restaurant the first night of my stay, just had a drink. One of the people I was with ended up with a skunky beer. Waitress was very nice but disappeared and we had to wait for over a half hour to pay. Went to breakfast buffet the next morning. The food was gross. They had waffles, not sure how you can mess up waffle batter but this waffle was not good. The waffle was nearly impossible to cut through and flavor was awful. The maple syrup kept solidifying. The waitstaff again disappeared and never came back to check in. Everyone was nice but there was hardly anyone in there and both times waitstaff went missing. We had chicken wings the first night and they were very tasty! Buffet is not worth $17 at all, it's not even worth $5. Pretty bad. read more

I stop by regularly staying on business at the Court Yard next door. The ambience and decor is always good. There are plenty of TV to catch up on games or news. The seating area and bathrooms are kept very clean. The beer selection while not extensive, it is serve very cold and the few choices are very good. The clam chowder is to die for. Very tasty, creamy and with plenty of clams. This place could be better, but they seem to always be short on staff, therefore service tends to be a bit slow. They always have some drama going on. The lady that works at the bar is so overwhelm that she comes across as very rude, and of course I don't mean this with any, absolutely any disrespect, but a bar especially so short staff with a huge ops tempo is a job for a younger person. Again, the bartender is not bad, she is actually quite fast, but at times she comes across as rude and that is certainty a turn off noticeable on people's reaction and face. I sometimes hear the Supervisor/Manager complaining also when things get busy or not going well and that is certainly not acceptable in any business. They need to game up on the customer service area just a bit and things will turn around. I'll be back as this is my company's designated hotel. read more

Had dinner here one night while staying in the hotel. Our waitress was nice and very attentive. My daughter ordered the lobster roll and it was probably one of the BEST lobster rolls we've ever had! Who knew a restaurant inside a hotel would have such a yummy lobster roll?! Huge chunks of lobster, which were extremely tender and tasted so fresh. I had the fish sandwich, which was also delicious, but after having a bite of my daughter's lobster roll, I wished I had ordered that instead! My sister had the hummus with fresh pita bread and WOW it was fabulous!! We left the restaurant feeling very full and satisfied.
