    I'm giving Brilliant Earth in Seattle one star. I bought an engagement ring, and after a month or two, a side diamond fell out. We sent it for repair, after about a month of waiting they basically just popped it back in and it fell out again immediately when we got it. We asked to change the ring style, paying extra, and after all the trouble, they still charged us that difference (which was $100) no courtesy at all. Then we waited again and after 2 months we finally got the ring back, and got a "sorry" gift that was just insulting. I can't recommend them quality and service were both disappointing. Honestly it ruined the beginning of our engagement experience. The ring was in repair or with them longer then it was on my fiance finger. These people are pushing out defective products please dont get fooled by the marketing.

    First off: special shout out to Sam Altman of the University Village location in Seattle, WA. He took the time to educate me on what to look for in diamonds and settings, explained all the options, and even helped me pick a few different combinations of stone and settings. I loved the fact that I could see each individual diamond online at high magnification and 360 degree view. It really helped me pick the perfect stone. I also loved that I could see how various shapes would look on every single setting available. My only qualm is that FedEx is a terrible courier and delivered my package a week later than scheduled on 2nd Day shipping due to a myriad of problems. I wish Brilliant Earth would use a different courier.

    Tried to purchase engagement ring. Spent days going between customer reps and management to assist because of website issues. Locked in order, payed for diamond and waited 10 days to get an email saying the diamond that was chosen is no longer available. Then they tried to offer lower quality diamond at same cost......... I will not be going back to this website JUST because of the amount of issues I had. Quality is important. It's unfortunate because of the time I spent trying to find the perfect one.

    Visited Brilliant Earth Seattle on August 21, 2021 to have my engagement ring resized. Another couple was there picking up a ring. Place is nice and clean, small in space. The woman I dropped off my ring to stated my ring was a 4.25 based on her resizing tool. Informed her it should be a size 4.5 per invoice from Brilliant Earth. The woman there was able to locate the order my fiancé purchased with a phone number search using his phone number. Was informed 2-4 weeks for resizing. Informed her I would suggest Brilliant Earth call me instead of my fiancé as he lives in Texas and I live here in Washington. Provided her with my phone number, ID for verification of drop off and left. Later my fiancé informed me Brilliant Earth called and wanted $135 for resizing and they failed to grab payment. I am not sure why I did not receive that phone call. I then receive a separate call on August 23rd that 'my husband's' billing address for his credit card provided does not match the one on file. I am not sure why they called me this time. Today, I come home to a FedEx package sitting on my doorstep from Brilliant Earth with my ring inside. I received no phone call and am fortunate my package did not get swiped. I am not sure why they shipped this package when I had not authorized any shipping or provided them with an ok to ship to this address. I have a separate address for mailing due to high package theft in the area. Overall, I am disappointed with the lack of attention to details (calling my fiancé versus me, despite being provided with my phone number at the counter, shipping versus pick up, missing the payment needed, not verifying the address prior to shipping, lack of follow-up phone call, need of verifying billing address, etc.) I cannot recommend Brilliant Earth at this time.

    I had an awful experience and am pretty upset about it. Don't order online from them. They jam your…read moreentire order, no matter the value, into a single USPS package, which is only insured for up to $100, and with their brand plastered on the outside, making it a target for mail theft but impossible to be fully reimbursed for if/when the contents get stolen. After a number of emails back and forth, they were not able to send me the original mailing receipt which is required to file a claim with USPS, so it seems unlikely I'll get anything from the claim anyways. They even gave me a "tip" that I should look into getting a secure mailbox, as if that would prevent an empty box from being delivered in the first place. In the end, I spent $140 for a box with nothing more than tissue paper and promotional material. Oh, did I mention they generously offered to send me the products again if I pay 60% more than I already paid? Thanks, but definitely not going to throw more money in your direction only to lose it again. Update: Just to clarify, this is not a case of mailbox theft...I was physically delivered an empty box by the carrier. There is always risk involved with shipping, and as the shipper, it's your responsibility to ship in a way that reasonably reduces risk and puts shipping liability on the carrier. Since you put more than $100 of your product in a box that's only covered for up to $100, you put the risk on the customer. I can't possibly be refunded now. You also could have reduced risk within reason by not advertising on the outside of the box that there is jewelry inside.
