However, I…read morerecently reached out to Pop's Electric for a quote to install four ceiling fans and install another electrical line. I asked if he was interested in the work? I was texted back by his Office and said yes! He requested a picture of the fans and a picture of the electrical panel. So, I provided everything he required for a quote and was told that Bob the Owner would provide a quote. A few days later, I reached out by text to the Office as I have been communicating with Pop's Electric and heard nothing in six days. Absolutely nothing! I posted this on Google as well (and went much more in detail), but would like to share my personal…read moreexperience of a renovation from Mendr. Starting on day 1, a subcontracted demo crew arrived along with Marcus from your team. They accidentally nicked a knob and tube wire along with 2 pipes. We did not know at the time, and noone from your team told us even though I have video proof they knew earlier that morning. We later found out when OUR plumber came to check on the pipes and noticed the mistakes and pointed it out to all workers present at that time. Knowing these pipes were nicked, they closed the floor anyway with the active leak inside. Following installation of the toilet and shower head, when I went to use the toilet, water came spewing through my ceiling downstairs- The team refused to acknowledge responsibility, initially stating it was the radiator regardless of my insisting. Upon locating the leak was actually in a drain pipe, they then said it was the subcontractors fault for nicking the pipe, completely ignoring the fact that if it wasn't enclosed under flooring, this would not have been an issue. Along with this issue, I had multiple concerns with professionalism and communication throughout. I was never told who would be coming on what day, and I encountered about 6 different workers in the time Mendr worked on my house. I was told Marcus would be my project lead, and he was only present the first 2 days. When we would relay a message to one worker, they would not relay it to the others, which lead to huge gaps in communication. We would ask for things to be done a certain way, and the team would ignore and do it the way "they always do it", even when resulting in poor installation of the sister beams, flooring, and cutting into my stack pipe for the exhaust fan. Your team did not put any tarps down unless we asked them to and even then, did not fix them when they would rip. There were multiple discussions regarding safety issues I caught on camera as well that your team still tries to pawn onto the subcontractors I didn't even know were coming. The absolute worst part about this team regardless of all the issues I encountered in my home is that your team still refuses to be held accountable, and does not seem sympathetic in the least for any of the damage caused in my home. I have photo and video proof as well as multiple other professionals who stated the work your team provided may as well be illegal with the lack of safety concern and poorly following ANY coding guidelines. Even with all of this, Kyle, you still try to deny claims and report the subcontractors did it- completely ignoring ANY of your teams responsibility in this matter. Do better, Do not rip people off if you can not handle the project. We deserve our down payment back, none of the work you performed was actually usable! You are only as professional as ALL of your employees and it has been made clear you do not send the same employees for all of your jobs.

We are so please to have found Rittenhouse Handyman. A little backstory: we have a condo in Philly,…read more our son used to live there and now it's a rental. We needed work in a ceiling that had been cut out to do a/c work. The contractor left it as is. Our tenant and us, just let it go, to be fair, but now since he's moving, we had to have the work done. I had emailed and called the handyman that the property manager uses for the entire building. I thought he knew the place and since it was familiar to him, a no brainer to use him. After waiting and leaving several messages, absolutely no response whatsoever. I found Rittenhouse Handyman on Yelp. It was very easy to schedule and appointment. No hassle at all. I sent them a picture of the problem and they sent me a fair estimate. What's really amazing is that they were responsive, easy to schedule an appointment with, and they showed up and did the work as promised. They did the work and they kept their word. Folks, we know how hard it is to find good people that keep their word and stick to it. I'm amazed how easy it was to schedule an appointment. We have two other rentals in the boonies in the Sierra Foothills in California and getting people to call you back and actually show up to do the work is hell. It's literally hit or miss and we have dealt with a lot of bait and switch folks, too. They quote you one price and lo and behold, there's more stuff that needs to be done. Rittenhouse is upfront, fair pricing and it was so easy to pay, too. Thank you Rittenhouse Handyman and special thanks to Melissa for helping us set it up. They hire out help from guys who are not licensed and will come to your home and quite possibly cause you more havoc than good. Ask them up front for licensing, insurance and if they are registered as electricians, plumbers, etc. The man who says that he is in charge is operating under the identity of another man listed as the business owner. They have different phone numbers and if you catch him off guard he will tell you his real name is either Lewis when his name is William :/ This young man sent out guys to my property that had no idea what they were doing. They tampered with both my electrical and plumbing and I had to have the work assessed by a professional and take pictures and make records of everything for legal reasons. It is very possible that many of these yelp reviews are from family and friends or paid third party. Be very careful who you let in your home. ALWAYS ask for their detailed paperwork and match it up with their driver's license if you have to. Whatever it takes because there is A LOT of fraud out here nowadays. I wouldn't use them for plumbing the following reasons: 1…read more Their estimate was as high as an estimate from a registered plumber for my project. 2. They said I was responsible for supplying all the materials. I had no idea what materials were needed for replacement of all the plumbing to be replaced. I needed recommendations before ordering replacement items, which I received when the plumbers gave me estimates at no cost. 5. They aren't plumbers to know best practices & city codes. 6. I have no idea of the skill set or necessary experience as to who they assign to my project. 7. The last handyman I used for a small fix used the thinnest cheapest copper to change a shut off.
