I resisted hearing aids for many years but Arian was patient and understanding, and showed me how much my life experience would be enhanced with better hearing. I have difficult-to-fit ear canals (narrow and twisted) so getting ear buds to fit into my ears was a challenge, but Arian was able to fit my ears perfectly. I still have difficulty inserting the aids in my ear canals but it is getting easier. I would totally urge anyone with any kind of hearing issue to visit Arian at Tarzana Hearing Center and be patient - hearing aids will take some getting used to but it will definitely be worth it! And Tarzana Hearing Center is responsive to clients' needs; they will find a way to provide whatever hearing aid service you need! This review is from Sandie E.

Arian and Sean made my mom's hearing aid test, purchase and fitting as easy as it could be -- and I don't think "hearing aid for mom" and "easy" ever go together! Mom is a great musician with a very discerning ear. We could not have done it without someone who knows their stuff or be delicate about it. They walked us through the whole ordeal professionally and KINDLY, making us feel immediately at home. They took great care in every adjustment and concern....and threw in few good stories from Arian to take the sting out of the process. What a little clarity can do for a relationship! Everyone benefits. So stop yelling at your loved one :-), go get them checked and enjoy better hearing today!

Having experienced two months of delays and misinformation from both Hearing Care Solutions and Dr. Piner's office, I was able to get my hearing tested and after my ear-nose-throat doc also got results of an MRI, booked my appointment to get my hearing aids (and making use of my $1,000 benefit for them). However since I am moving out of state, to preserve my benefit I now had to move quickly and had already lost time because of Piner and Hearing Aid Solutions. So what went wrong in all this? Plenty. Even if I got my hearing aids from Piner, because of my move, I would end up losing a full year of "free" servicing and check ups (many hundreds of dollars I would now have to pay out of pocket at my new location). Also, because time had run out (no fault of mine: delays were all on their side), I would lose the opportunity with my new hearing aids to go back to Piner's office for free adjustments - and under the free trial period, swap out my hearing aids for another type/brand if I didn't like the ones I chose initially. But ok, I would have to live with that. But here comes the kicker - a clear breach of my patients' rights, a clear failure to honor the terms of my benefit plan and a breach of contract: because I was moving and already had made clear through Hearing Care Solutions the order for my hearing aids would need to be rushed, Dr. Piner's office decided to "fire" me as a patient: I got a call that my appointment was canceled and I would have to get my hearing aids elsewhere. Of course, I do not have time to make that work before my move (a new hearing test, then the long wait time between a different provider/vendor placing the order for the hearing aids and having them shipped to that vendor, and then finally getting them to me. By that time, I would be out of state - under a different health care plan. Beware: take your business elsewhere. The clear disregard for a patient tells you what to expect if you order hearing aids from the Hearing and Balance Center. Remember what Maya Angelou said: when someone tells you who they are (through their actions) - believe them.
