Here's why you should NOT use Union Audiology…read more I went for a hearing test in the summer. The equipment they used was straight out of the 1970s. Seriously so old and crappy. Doctor told me I had 30% hearing loss and need hearing aids. Okay. They billed my insurance for the full cost. Mind you, I never got hearing aids or was even fitted. But they billed my insurance for over $6000. They got the money and never once called me or returned any of my calls. Then they billed my insurance for another $6000. Why? This time it was rejected. Meanwhile, I still haven't heard from them even though they have my insurance money. They NEVER returned any of my calls so I could not get fitted for my hearing aids that they were already paid for. After 4 months of leaving tons of unreturned messages, they finally answered the phone. I asked what's happening and why they are keeping my money and not giving me my hearing aids or even calling me back? Their receptionist tells me I'm being rude and I need to apologize to her. WHAT?!?! I ask why they haven't returned any of my calls even though they've been paid thousands by my insurance company. She claims she returned all of my calls and left messages (a total lie). When I press her for the number she's been calling, she gives me a wrong phone number (off by one digit from mine) that she's been supposedly leaving messages for me. Total BS. ALSO...my correct phone number is RIGHT ON my intake form and was left on all of my messages. They are totally scamming and keeping my insurance money. I alerted my insurance company who also tried to get them to return the thousands of dollars they took from them. Guess what, the insurance adjuster says they won't return his calls either. A major fraud case is now being opened by my insurance company. In the mean time, I still don't have hearing aids. I cannot get them anywhere else because Union Audiology billed my insurance, took all of the money and now won't return it. I may lose out on my deductible benefits for the year and I cannot hear very well. Do not trust this company. My insurance company is preparing to file a fraud claim against them while I'm still disabled with no way to get hearing aids...that Union Audiology was paid thousands of dollars for and won't return. Do not use this company. You've been warned.

I need anybody who reads this to know from the second we walked into the office, it felt like family. Everybody was so nice and so welcoming. When the Dr. walked into the room, she was so warm, kind, caring, and my daughter and I loved her immediately. Dr. CECILIO was so patient and thorough with my daughter and eased our minds and made us feel so welcome and cared about. I feel that it is very rare nowadays to go to a doctor's office and get the type of love that we felt. The doctor explained everything so well and spent quality time with us, and made my daughter feel so much better. I truly recommend this Dr. to everybody. I have met many doctors in my life and she truly has one of the best bedside manners I have ever experienced. I am an MD and this is the mark of a physician who practices true patient advocacy. I am not a listed patient of the clinic and called the office because I was trying to get an emergency appointment because I had sudden loss of hearing in my right ear. Even though I am not a paying patient, my message was passed on to Dr. Cecilio who had the staff immediately call me to send me to the right clinic that handles emergency hearing loss. That clinic scheduled me for visit within 1 hour and they discovered that the hearing my right ear is very seriously diminished with a combination of both conductive and middle ear pathology. I am an MD and know how busy the practice must be. I incredibly grateful to Dr. Cecilio for taking the time to review the case details I left her in a message and direct me immediately to the care that I needed. She was payed nothing for this action and shows herself to be a true advocate. As an MD who does not even know her, I look at the reviews and disagree with them. She has to charge for her visits and it is a brave MD who tells people that they don't need surgery right away if other medications can be tried first. Also, not all surgeries are successful with any doctor, especially ones who will be brave enough to take on harder cases. The way you treat a patient that is not even payable is the true mark of her professionalism and ability to identify clinical urgency, which is the true showing of her character. I am only 39 and I almost lost all the hearing in my right ear. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Vera Cecilio and wish her kind appreciative patients for the dedication that she shows.
