Yay! Clean chimney and fireplace! It's probably been over 20 years since our chimney's been given a good 'ol sweep. As the rainy and cold season is upon us, we thought we'd give the fireplace a spin but know we desperately needed a clean. Ron was quick to respond, on time, extremely friendly and did a fantastic job! What more can you ask for? Oh, and he loved on my puppy, even while she was bothering him for attention while working :) I find workers who come through our house are usually stand off-ish and not very friendly. Ron was seriously the opposite and THAT is the person you want and trust to enter/work on your home! Great price for the quality of work and I know who to call any time we need our chimney swept. He even gave so much insight on maintaining it. Although we had a request for him to look at something else in our home (which was completely out of his field), he willingly looked and helped us as best he could! So sweet!! He also provides window/gutter cleaning services, which I'm sure are just as stellar as his chimney sweeping! I wouldn't hesitate one second, just book Ron! You'll thank me later. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to light myself a toasty fire in my super clean fireplace! Thank you Ron!! :) read more

I first contacted Ron back in 2018 for an estimate after my husband and I moved in to our little rental house. He got back to me very quickly but, at the time, the service wasn't any emergency or anything and I actually forgot about it. Since we rent, and fireplaces in LA are not super essential and usually more of a nice treat from time to time, it just slipped my mind. Flash forward to the year that we all are in a hurry to forget and I was browsing Yelp again thinking it would be nice to finally get the fireplace checked out. I came across his message and thought, why not? Let's just do it. Ron got back to me just as fast as the first time and was very easy to communicate with via Yelp. He arrived on time a week or so later, was super friendly, professional, and answered questions without any hesitation. After his inspection we now know it's safe to use our fireplace (the house was built in 1927 so we wanted to be sure it was all good!) Great guy, fair pricing, I'd recommend Ron to anyone; we will definitely be keeping in touch for any future inspections, cleaning, etc. Thanks, Ron!! read more

I've hired this company twice over the course of a few years - once for cleaning my fireplace, once for cleaning all my window inside and out in a decent sized 2 story house. Both times Ron Vesci showed up, and with amazing energy and cheer, did both jobs quickly and well, and for a fair price. He's versatile, thorough, and offers many services. Ron was amazing! Got back to me right away via Yelp and was available that same week to come out and clean our skylight! He did an amazing job inside and out and was the most reasonable quote we received. Quick and efficient! Will definitely reach out again when we need another clean! read more

Monday was my day to prep my new rental home and Ron assisted me enthusiastically! He was communicative regarding his arrival time, estimate and departure. Ron's disposition is incredibly professional and accommodating. He put his headphones on and proceeded to power wash/dry my house windows from the exterior and wash/dry the interior windows. Ron checked my flute of my chimney though that would've been an extra service had they not been clean. What a pleasure and reward for his services. read more

So glad I found this company! Ron is a pleasure to work with, very professional and knowledgeable! He cleaned our chimney thoroughly and our chimney looks great! Thank you Ron! read more

We hired Ron to sweep our chimney since it had been 7 years since the last cleaning. 1. Showed up on time 2. Presentable and friendly 3. Honest. He quoted me a price over the phone but when he assessed the work he lowered the price to reflect our particular job. 4. He showed pre and post video of the work 5. He inspected the chimney structure pointed out weaknesses and fixed them. 6. He was super sweet to our dog. #jealous Sadly we don't need a chimney sweep super often but we know who we will call when the time comes. He does other things too so check out his website. Thanks Ron! read more

Ron was absolutely great to work with. I had just moved to a new apartment in Santa Monica where landlords are notorious for under-maintaining their properties because people will still come in and pay the rent, regardless. I live on the second story of a small complex and I swear the windows hadn't been washed since they were put in. Ron came in with an honest quote on a Monday and was able to fit me in the following morning (super flexible). He came on time and was out in a couple of hours. He was super personable, positive and CLEAN. I've paid for a lot of things with this move and this is one of the things I can truly say was worth every penny. I look forward to setting up more of a regular schedule with him 2-3x a year to keep my windows look fresh as hell! read more

As you can tell from all of the favorable Yelp reviews for window washers in general, and Bright On in particular, having your windows washed by a professional is a transformative experience. Ron provided an excellent cleaning service but overall provided excellent service with his friendly demeanor. He removed the screens form my window to wash them which caused me to realize, why do I need screens so I stored those in the garage. He also explained that the screens collect dirt & dust that then gets spattered messily onto the glass of the windows during the rare rainfall in Southern California. Ron pointed out how the energy of the space changed and I'd have to agree with him. There's a little guilt in having watched Ron circle the exterior and interior of my house deftly removing screens, hosing windows that have not been cleaned in 18 months, and squeegeeing them clean while I sit and do nothing. I mean, my bungalow is only one story, so for the three hours he spent meticulously cleaning my windows I thought, shouldn't that have been me out there doing that and not just once as a special treatment for my home but like every month? If I had a second story and lacked a ladder than I'd have an excuse. However, I had to look at myself in the mirror and say you are a man who will pay to have your windows professionally cleaned instead of doing a normal household chore. Nevertheless, as I looked at Ron's range of squeegees and technique, hiring him to clean my windows seems like the sensible thing to do. It likely would have taken me 6 hours even if I had all of the same equipment. Having your windows professionally cleaned is a little like cataract surgery. Having your windows professionally cleaned would be a great surprise gift on mothers' day! read more

Great experience with Bright On. The windows are beautiful. Meeting Ron was amazing and we will use this company again.

Marci and Ron are terrific. Marci was quick to respond to my quote request and to set up a time and then Ron immediately followed up with questions. From our initial point of contact to job completion, Ron and his crew were great! Ron was timely and professional throughout the project and my wife and I enjoyed the positive energy they brought with them. They cleaned our entire house exterior, including roof as well as front and back patio. Our house looks brand new thanks to Ron! I can't recommend him and his colleagues enough. I have to let everyone know what a great experience I had today with Bright On. I asked Ron to come to my house to clean two of my three chimneys. He was exactly on time (even called to see if it was convenient for him to come early)-this never happens in LA! He arrived, extremely personable and eager to check out all 3 of my chimneys for the same flat rate. After inspecting all 3 -he told me that they all were already clean, safe to use and not in need of service. He certainly would have made a lot more money by cleaning them as I had hired him to do-but was extremely honest in explaining to me why they were in great shape and how the cleaning was unnecessary. And here is the kicker!-I told him that one of my fireplaces had smoked up the room once in the past several years-even though everything was in order. He suggested that we place four bricks under the log grate in the fireplace to lift it up a bit so smoke would go straight up instead of into the room, possibly on a windy day. With that he went on a walk with me through the neighborhood to find bricks at a nearby home remodel site -and then brought back the bricks and set it all up for me. All with smile on his face and a can-do spirit. Although I didn't end up getting my chimneys cleaned-I will have Ron back when I need to! I highly recommend him to all. He was very knowledgeable and a good guy. read more

He even gave us info about how to reduce soot. Our neighbors are now going to be using him too! read more
