Wow - Mike is first rate. Had a 45 year old, non-replaceable lamp (per my wife) that had worn out…read more Mike made magic happen. He is a MENSCH. totally rewired the lamp along with inserting a new interior component. I was amazed. One would never know that the lamp is brand new - that was the issue and it matches the other 2 lamps . Mike is a rare find - He is honest, has immense integrity and keeps communication on what is happening. Not like many trades that take the money and run. I endorse Mike as the best in PBC. If you have any electrical need or replacement of a component, he is the man to see !!!

Stopped lighting the room yesterday so I changed bulbs, twice, not the problem. Tried to take apart so I could do the job. more than I could handle. Internet search found P B Lighting, called . Yes, bring it in. Met at the door by the owner, come in "ah the lamp, in the back" He has a complete work area including hoist for chandlers. Re wired the socket, cleaned off the tape I put on, reconnected the light and holding stem and and all with out the bad words, that I had used. Clean Neat, Professional, and inexpensive.. Use him for any lighting fixed or mobile. C. Heller Royal Palm Beach

Laura Levitsky met us soon after we walked into the wonderland of lighting. I mean it. I shopped…read moreonline with my husband so by the time we walked into the store, we recognized the styles we saw on luxury design sites, etc. We were delighted by the choices so it was great to have Laura give us a tour. She left us to shop on our own when she saw we were dragging one another from fixture to fixture! We turned the corner and as soon as we saw it we knew it was THE one. The store was closing so we returned the next day, still in love with the light, and ordered it. Laura explained the details about the Austrian crystal and quality of the Tomia 'Ellie' fixture. We were so excited that we floated out of the store and returned 3 days later to pick it up. The guy at the warehouse behind the building was super nice and helped load the enormous box into the backseat. The day after we got the fixture, Marvin from My Electrical Genie installed it and we all stood back in amazement. The fixture is even more beautiful than when surrounded by all the other fixtures in the store. It is exactly what we wanted - contemporary, crystal, linear with curves and bright. Done. One store and one knowledgeable, smart and friendly salesperson equals a new fixture that lights us up!

Beautiful Things Lighting had the most aesthetically pleasing and quality items without 'breaking the bank' or being too modern. Kathy Caldwell, our liaison at the store, was wonderful. As we discussed various items, she was able to quickly hone in on what we were looking for. Even the final price that we were able to pay was on target and in budget. I recommend at least seeing what they have and speaking with a consultant.

The people working there were friendly and attentive, and even gifted us with some free plants on our way out. The plants were moderately priced and the garden accessories were also fairly priced. I love this place.

Poor costumer service and sick plants have changed my mind about Giverny Gardens…read more I moved here about 2 years ago and have used this nursery for all my soil and potting needs. I don't often buy full-grown plants, but decided to treat myself to a cute English ivy. I brought it home, kept it isolated while it adapted to my place, and within two days the plant was teeming with spider mites. I threw it out and figured it happens sometimes, but went back to Giverny about a month later to buy the same plant along with some other goods. Again, I kept it quarantined from my other plants and, again, spider mites erupted within days. Before tossing the plant, I called Giverny to explain this English ivy issue and asked if I could get a refund or store credit. The woman on the phone was curt and rude, telling me that my home was the source of the problem and she would not issue a refund or credit of any kind. I reemphasized to her that both times I brought home a plant from her store, I kept it isolated from my indoor plants. Heck, the last time I dealt with this infection was years before I moved to Florida! But she said it wasn't possible it was Giverny's fault, blamed my home AGAIN, and that she wouldn't remedy anything. It's just dumb considering I've spent probably $500+ at this store over 2 years and she went on the offensive over a $10 plant. It's a headache dealing with spider mites, and it was ridiculous she wouldn't oblige me for a disease her store sent home with my plant. Nurseries get infections--I've been gardening for 11+ years and seen some gnarly places. As beautiful as the plants at Giverny look, I doubt I'm the first person to buy an infected plant from them. Hopefully the woman I spoke with reads this settles down and learns how to communicate with wronged customers--especially loyal ones. I've been shopping at Amelia's Smartyplants since and highly recommend.
