Kudos to the brewmaster/beer namer for bringing me back to my youth and inspiring me to dig into my 1980s vinyl collection for my favorite Ultravox album Stopped in early Friday evening to grab a drink at the bar before our dinner reservation. Nice variety of beers, wines and cocktails. Inspired by others at the bar we got the pretzels and queso. The queso had a little kick to it, but absolutely not too spicy if you're not a big spicy fan. The wings looked and smelled amazing, so we'll need to come back for that. We were there until 6:30pm, and it wasn't too loud or overcrowded. Just one group played duckpin bowling, which looks kinda fun (as someone who grew up in the Northeast with candlepin bowling). Only our second time at the Bridgeway complex. DRINKS ONLY REVIEW: The bartender was incredibly sweet! We went in on a Saturday while the World Cup game was going on so it was a very lively atmosphere. I got a flight and I really liked the beers. It was fairly busy during this time and we enjoyed looking at the decor and watching the game. This area is really cool as there is a dining food hall next door and a few restaurants around as well. Vegan Burgers were ok, fries were delicious sort of like hand cut fresh style. Service was good. The ambiance is very casual. Seating is a bit awkward with side seating in the walk way as people are bumping into tables with normal foot traffic in their restaurant, needless to say the seating arrangements has much room for improvement. The Vegan Burgers are served bland in flavours. Seems heated or warmed but not seasoned as expected in a burger. The ambiance of the burger itself is quite boring and basic. This is a great local brewery with friendly, attentive staff. Generous about samples. I got the IPA flight but the Eureka! is the best in my opinion. My colleague got the chicken wings with dry lemon pepper seasoning--not the direction I would take, but very tasty. We played jenga but I would've loved to try duck bowling. Next time! read more

The whole complex is pretty amazing. Bridgeway was the only place I tried. The service was good. The food was OK. Had burgers and nachos. Just OK bar food. Beer wan pretty good. Sitting inside is a mess. If your not there for Duck Pin bowling I would go somewhere else. This place is way too small for duck pin lanes. It is very loud when people are bowling. Also 3% surcharge for using a credit card. Come on. You write off the card fees as an expense. Wont be back at least while this surcharge exists. Way to many other options at the castle. read more

I asked for extra crispy french fries. If I didn't know better I would think they might've microwaved those also. New to the area from San Francisco. Came to watch the 49er/Rams game. Asked the servers a few times to please put the game on the screen in front of us. Mind you none of the screens had the game on, just highlights of previous games. After about 10 minutes into the game it was finally added to the screen with no sound, just club music playing. Mind you this is a national televised game and the sound should have been on. The servers were rude when asked several times to please put the game on. Ordered the Friday fish and chips. The coleslaw was inedible as it was 50% mayo. The fries were good, but the fish was covered in huge amounts of fried grease and breading. We ate what we could but removed the breading. When the bartender asked if everything was okay, we showed him the issue. He just dumped it in the garbage and did not mention it to either the kitchen or the management. Nor did he ask if we wanted to try something else. I will never go back. Came here after the Father's Day car show. We sat in the booths and were told that it was for the bowling, but they let us sit and seemed bothered by us sitting there anyways. We were told that they had decent burgers by the host, just for a server to come and tell us they were out of wings, everything but salads, and the fryer was shut down already. The server asked what we'd want to drink, my dad said sweet tea and the server rudely said and pointed to the menu, "this is a brewery. We brew beer. Not tea." Thank you sir, I had no idea that this is a brewery. So we all got waters and then decided to leave. Between the lack of food, the rude comments/tone, and the lack of service we didn't want to support this business. Don't recommend this place at all. read more

Vegetarian choices are limited to salad options and no nonalcoholic beer choices. I understand they are new and are still figuring out their food, drinks, and a POS system so they don't have to get the customers card back after starting a tab on it. The Pub was disappointing. Food was OK but totally no service whatso ever. No one ever acknowledged us as customers. There were no customers except for one man at bar drinking a beer and appeared to be part of staff of some sort. Our food was served on plastic with plastic utensils. This a fine place to get a beer at the "castle" as we call it. Bridgeway I think others call it. Very cool architecture surrounding the restaurant. Quick access to the swamp rabbit trail over the beautiful newly opened interstate foot bridge! I don't know why they didn't do more of this architecture and theme inside this restaurant. Would have been epic! It's a sports bar brewery with tall ceilings. Good for what it is. Lots of TVs. Would dftly recommend everyone give it a try as they're finding their feet and need the at-bats. You can sit outside at picnic tables with beers which is probably the main draw in the warm season. They have a very cool spot under the brick pergola to sit and relax without loud music. There is a huge TV in the distance on the plaza wall in which to collectively watch Clemson. Go Tigers! They have duck bowling indoors which is a pretty cool little attraction to add some entertainment to the classic bar with TVs. But you can't sit by it and expect to talk to each other. It's very loud as you crash through for a strike. There is cornhole outside which is great fun for everyone. Maybe add another one if you're able! Some feedback for the GM/owners. Turn down the music. This is not a dance club. We can't hear ourselves talking inside. And it was not late in the day but even that. People want to talk if they're not dancing. Revisit the menu and its preparation. Remove the chips asap. They are not good. They're bad. I wouldn't order them if you're reading this. Fries were fine. Offer another option than a fried side. It's 2024. Even at a sports bar. You had side salad but it's an upcharge on already highly priced sandwiches. It feels like snack bar food at mid casual prices. That being said the burger is fine. You'll enjoy it. Just might be marked up 33%. Hosts and Servers need some coaching. But they were all very nice and mean well. Plates, silverware, napkins, waters, consistent rounds. It's opening day and a little crazy. Have some patience while they work out the kinks. My favorite person was KB. She is amazing behind the bar and you could tell, she runs the show. The food was terrific! We had the burgers because it was really busy and we thought it was easy. I did not love the nachos. I would add some kind of salsa and get rid of the lime goo. Emmanuel was great at clearing the dishes away. They were understaffed since 3 people called out. They definitely need some noise canceling wall attire but it's a terrific bar, and I would go see KB in a heartbeat! My suggestion to the staff, who are front of the house, please seat people, even if the kitchen is backed up. People can understand that a Kitchen is backed up, but they don't understand empty tables. All in all wonderful time was had by my husband and I so I will go back. See you soon! read more

If you live close to this location, definitely give them a try! The complex is really cool, I'd love to go back in the warmer weather, maybe there will be some outside seating? They are new, learning the ropes. We didn't have to wait to be seated at the bar. Bartender was very cordial, offered us a sample of the porter which we both really liked. Had the seasonal and Eureka, the hazy ipa, both very solid. Ordered caprese salad and the chicken tenders because they were out of the cheesesteak egg rolls. The tenders came with 3 awesome dipping sauces! All 3 very good. We found them to be a bit dark, overcooked slightly, but we ate em up. We appreciate the seasoning added after cooking too. The caprese was pretty standard but a classic. Again the finishing salt was nice. Other reviewers mentioned the noise, they have these neat bowling machines inside the main space. Although it was nice to see those folks enjoy themselves, the noise was a bit much for us. We are older n like a more chill bar atmosphere, just our personal taste. We get that some people would love having the bowling as an option while they sip their brews though. So give them a try and see what you think! My wife and I went, because it was new and we wanted to give it a shot. Well the waitress came and took our drink order. I wanted tea, well she said she said we are a brewery, we don't sell tea here. I laughed, and then ordered a lemonade. After we got our drinks. The waitress walks off, she doesn't even ask if we are ready to order. She passed by us 5 or 6 times. Well my wife and I got up and walked out. I have experience in the food industry. Within 10 minutes, the customers should have their drinks and their food order in. She failed poorly. read more

Started great, finished very poorly. The food was excellent and our server, Eric, was friendly, knowledgeable and got everything we needed quickly. There were nine of us and everyone in our group felt the same. As we were leaving, my wife and I decided to stick around for an espresso martini and the bartender made a great one. Then our 5 star experience quickly changed to barely one star. A woman who was clearly over-served latched on to my wife and I, and just would not leave us alone, no matter the hints we were dropping. She bragged several times that she was the owner and we were shocked to see such behavior from an owner. As her blathering dragged on, we became aware that this was not an uncommon occurrence. It also became obvious that the staff was embarrassed by it all, especially the younger ones. So, we abandoned our idea of having a second, possibly third round due to an insensitive comment she made to my wife. As we paid our tab, she offered to buy us another, but we really just wanted to get away from her. All we wanted to do was enjoy a few after dinner drinks before going home and the experience was ruined by the owner drunkenly invading our space and stealing some of our rare quality time together. The service could have been better, the food was too expensive for the poor quality. I had a Smashburger which was adequate but nothing to rave about, the french fries were cold. My wife's order of the crab cakes was sent back, they were cold and were the worst-tasting crab cakes I have ever encountered. My son had wings, 6 wings, for $15 which is outrageous and in addition they were cold and he found them not to be good. The music and restaurant were way too loud. Some material should be put on the walls to dampen the sound. All in all, it was an unsatisfying meal and a poor service experience. My family will not be returning to this establishment. read more

Not sure I understand a lot of the negative reviews. I discovered this place during football season last year and can say it's one of the better places to watch a game in the area . The staff is accommodating , and will make sure the game is on that you want to watch . Great selection of beers and food and the Turkey Burnt End Cheesesteak is a must along with the wings. read more

I understand that this place is new, but come on 15 minutes for someone to come take our order. We sat across from the bar. 2 bartenders and both just aimlessly walking around. One kept refilling waters! This place is really loud with the bowling area. 25 minutes later we finally received the flight of beer. The flight did have 5 ounce glasses. We ordered the winter warmer, blue eyes blonde, duck bill English porter and wheat Quaker ale. The porter and the wheat are by far their best beers. They have liquor but no cocktail menu. The weird thing we noticed was a lot of people left full beers on the bar. We ordered some chicken strips and 5 minutes later they came. They were good. So apparently the kitchen is on point but the bartenders are kinda clueless. Hopefully they iron out some stuff. On an up note our waiter Josh was very attentive. read more

Living within walking distance to Bridgeway Station we were excited about a brewery opening there. I really want them to succeed. I've visited 3 times now. The service is atrocious. It's a bar - all I'm expecting is to be brought a drink and food in a reasonable about of time. That's it. I truly don't understand why it takes so long to get a drink. On our last visit my wife and I asked to be seated outside. The hostess gave us menus and then we waited for 15 minutes for a server to come take our drink order. Except we didn't have a beer menu, so wait another 5 minutes for the server to bring one. It took 10 minutes for 2 beers. Almost 30 minutes from sitting down to having a beer. At a brewery. 35 minutes after ordering, we get our food. A chicken sandwich and burger. Waited another 8 minutes for the server to bring napkins and ketchup. I ordered a chicken sandwich with cheddar cheese and added bacon. It came with pepper jack cheese and no bacon. It's now been almost an hour since we sat down at the table. At this point I was hoping a manager could maybe help me out. I asked the hostess if I could speak with the manager. Hostess looks around and said the manager must not be here right now. I haven't experienced service this bad and slow at any other restaurant in town. Not once. Much less 3 times in a row. Something is fundamentally broken with the management of the brewery. I know it is a fairly new establishment, but the staff here are not well-trained or very helpful. Tried to make a reservation for a group outing and it took a manager to be able to do that, and then called to get help with something yesterday and was told to wait after they helped a customer in person, which I told them was fine. I was left on the phone for 15 minutes until I finally hung up. Not only was I forgotten about, but I could hear the workers all chatting amongst themselves the whole time while ignoring the phone. When I tried calling back, the phone line was unreachable and it probably was for the remainder of the night (they also have no voicemail set up). read more
