Wonderful combo, I cannot recommend these businesses enough. Starting with the staff, they were all super friendly. I saw nothing but smiles the entire time, and they were getting through that line with some serious speed! The atmosphere was lively, they had some cute merch, and the outdoors was a nice place to sit and enjoy. I got my go to drink, an oat milk lavender latte. Everything tasted like quality, but the most impressive part was that they got the perfect amount of lavender flavor in it. Enough to be able to taste it, but not overwhelming or underwhelming either. That coffee was great. I also got a breakfast croissant here too, and that was not great at all. The other pastries all are much better from what I saw/ our group had. So while the croissant might not have been the best, every single one of our drinks was a hit. We all agreed that any time any of us visit Tahoe, Clyde's is a must stop.

I finally decided to stop in with my 5 y/o son. The outside decor and ambiance were adorable and the merchandise had fun designs. Unfortunately, the interaction with the owner completely changed the experience. He seemed irritated from the moment I ordered a hot chocolate for my son, correcting me in a rude and dismissive tone that it was "hot cocoa" and annoyedly asking how many I wanted. I said one and then asked if they had a menu so I could see what type of coffee they offered. That simple question also seemed to frustrate him and he dismissively responded, "It's just coffee," while shaking his head. His overall tone came across as arrogant, annoyed, and dismissive over normal questions, which made the interaction uncomfortable. I was shocked by the attitude, especially from a business owner. Maybe he was having a bad day, and I do see many positive reviews, but I also noticed other reviews mentioning similar experiences with the owner. It's disappointing because we were really looking forward to trying this place. I ended up saying never mind and leaving. My son didn't understand why we walked out without getting what we came for and I explained that I didn't want to support a business where customers are treated rudely. I truly hope the owner is doing okay and is able to treat customers more respectfully in the future because it seems like there's a great product behind the business. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to try it.

Currently they have send me a double order and are prepared today to sent me yet another order. They do not answer their emails or their phone. No idea what is going on but endless supplies of 5 pound bags of coffee every few weeks is not what I want. I will cancel my subscription, membership and never order again. (I'd burn their shirt as well but it's a pretty nice t-shirt). My advice is to never order anything from them. Perhaps they will get customer service straightened out but as of the last two months it is a nightmare. New- I sent 19 emails with the exact same information-a notice showing a new shipment of coffee mirroring the order I received two weeks ago and asking them to cancel- and this Yelp review. They contacted me via email assuring me the order was cancelled, when my next delivery was due, and thanking me for my years of service. My guess is a negative Yelp review impacts them. I like their coffee. I like the fact some of the money goes to eye cancer research. But beware, you are on your own to handle subscriptions and shipments. And because they answered my emails after multiple weeks of wrestling with this I doubled their star review- from one to a two.,,,,,,,,, For reasons known only to me I am changing my review from 2 star to 5 star. These are nice people in the midst of a very stressful time.

Dina is a fun hostess. We were inspired by their story, their craft, how they cultivated their coffee from Panama. Learning about the process from the soil to bean to cup, made the coffee that much more satisfying. I tried the almond joy latte (and i can see how it taste like the candy bar in a cup!). Their menu also features flavors with cardamom, matcha, butterfly pea flower, ube, smoky salt, light to dark beans, both iced and hot options. They provide single origin coffee, organic ingredients, vegan foods, and even have options for kids. One thing that impressed me was that their pour over stations were equipped with Acaia Pearl scales. They also have Mahlkonig E64 GBW scales, arguably one of the most accurate commercial grinders on the market, and a San Remo F18 3 group machine. Very high end equipment all around. Love to see that.
