Surf and Turf

I do recommend that you get a reservation, especially if you can request seating outside around dinner time so you can enjoy your meal while seeing the sunset. This was an absolutely amazing experience that my family got to have on Christmas Day. Our server was very kind and took care of us. The food was delicious. I loved how it was prepared and sent out in a timely manner. We were not steered wrong. Overall, this experience was quite lovely. The hostess was very kind along with the servers. They kept this restaurant very clean. Definitely check out Bridge Street Bistro.

Strawberry salad with chicken & a lot of it!

Attended a birthday dinner party on a Friday night. Parking is very tough to find & $$$. We paid $10 an hour to park a little further away & the parking right next to it was $16 an hour! You need to take an elevator or stairs to get to the restaurant which is very nice once you are in there & the beach views & sunset are fantastic. Menu is very limited & very pricey. The martini prices were good - $10. They make a delicious espresso martini! I ordered the strawberry salad with chicken & they give you a lot of chicken. It was good but the salad was heavily dressed. Others in the group got fish which looked fantastic as it should be for $45! Others kept it light like me with salads. Two people tried the pasta - they thought it was just OK & one persons pasta came out lukewarm. Our waiter was great with our large table & very patient. Doubt I would go again but the sunset views were spectacular!

Genuinely felt bamboozled after booking on OpenTable. The photos made it seem like this place was a fine-dining seafood on the beach... not so much. Our food was disappointing -- I sent the grouper back twice because of quality. The $18 shrimp cocktail was 4 shrimp on a plate. Just not great at all. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the strawberry ice cream sandwich was super yummy!

This is medium?

I was excited to try something that seemed a bit nicer than the typical beach restaurants we've been to. If this meal had been the same price as the others, it would be fine, but we paid a lot for just okay food. I ordered the surf & turf ($48) and my daughter ordered the espresso-rubbed steak ($46). We both ordered them medium, and they were both well done. The Brussels sprouts were great. The risotto was bland, even after adding a lot of extra salt & pepper. The blackberry martini was fantastic, as was the service. But if you're charging that much for a steak, it should be at least close to cooked properly. I would've sent mine back if the rest of my party hadn't been halfway done eating by the time the server checked in (not the server's fault; the others just ate very quickly & I didn't want to hold everyone up).

Had a lovely Thanksgiving meal from this floor deck overlooking the Gulf. They were able to fit us in when I called for reservations. I later found out they are on Open Table as well. Buffet felt a little expensive at $40 but it had carved beef, turkey, salmon, stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc. We decided to order off menu for slightly more per person but got great filet mignon and lobster surf and turf. Thanks for a great Thanksgiving!

from the moment we walked in the hostess was rude and univiting. took 15 minutes to even get water at the table and then when they came she only brought two. food was bland and overpriced. one of the bussers started to clear our table while we were sitting still and hit my brother in laws elbow down purposefully so he could reach a plate. rude, uninviting and gross food. would not recommend. lastly it smelled like straight poop (disgusting i know). purely honest review so u DONT WASTE UR TIME!!! xoxo - gossip girl

My third time back here. First time was with Peggy's cousin and we went out on the deck had an awesome time. Second time my better have to decide not to join me and said bring something back good. Which I did grand slam home run This time we were out for a walk downtown. We wandered over here and I took her up for a view. The staff was handling a guest as we came in and did an excellent job. We were too early to seat at 5 o'clock when they started seating, had no reservation, and they set one for 5 o'clock . Oh well was me, we had a wait at the bar. I was heartbroken. The bartender served up a Mount Gay so much for being heartbroken. My girlfriend Peggy just rolled her eyes again. So I was looking at where we were going to be setting and it was very quiet out there unlike the bar there was a couple customers that were very loud I got on my knees and pleaded for mercy to be seated outside now before the 5 o'clock witching hour. The hostess was very gracious and understood the problem at the bar. She moved us outside. Peggy with her iced tea and me with Mount Gay Rum. Perfect a great ocean view. We had our beverages. I had this awesome looking woman sitting across from me. What more could a fella want? 5 o'clock showed up soon enough. My drink was half gone. I was thinking about the walk home should I enjoy another one of their beverages? I'll defer that answer for now. So 5 o'clock came and so did our waitress. She took an order for the fried cauliflower. It's awesome! Peggy said she doesn't know how we're going to eat our entrée? I said no problem will take it home with us the cauliflower that is although I just noticed she's sneaking more bites instead of saving it for the take-home. I had to shake my finger at her. She stuck her tongue out at me. I'm gonna quit now while I'm ahead. I did enjoy the seafood mac & cheese. And would get it again. We took home a piece of Keylime pie. Should've got two pieces it was that good. We're coming to the end of our travels here on Ana Maria Island. It will probably be a year before we get back again. Lots of great places to go. Hopefully your journey is good and you enjoy a meal here. It will be well worth your time.

They have a few picnic tables out front and more seating inside. We got a parking spot no problem and went inside. It is an order at the counter place with a dark wood feel. This is not your typical BBQ place, their website describes their restaurant as fast casual + BBQ fusion. Many traditional BBQ items such as ribs and baked beans are not on the menu, yet they offer other items like a Cuban sandwich. I went BBQish and ordered their Double Brisket Burger, and Canadian with a large order of Poutine. I recommend checking out the menu before you go the first time just to make sure you see something you want. My brisket burger was very tender and easy to eat. I liked it even though the caramelized onion added a burnt taste. It was a lot of food. The flavor of the poutine was subtle, and was a lot of fries. High marks on their Cuban sandwich from my dinner companion. I liked the place, liked the people, liked the other customers who we chatted with. We are local but seldom make it out to the beach so nice vacation vibes rubbed off on us as well. We left full and happy.

We found the last street parking at 3:00 for lunch on a Saturday. After 3:30 it seemed like it was getting busier. The decor inside is nautical. The restaurant is right on the water and you watch people come and go on their boats. The bathrooms were clean and I appreciated seeing a changing table in the restroom. Food was good. Service was great. Dessert was best. We ordered: Grass-fed burger with truffle fries Kids Mac and Cheese Fried chicken sandwich "Burnt" cheesecake Mac and cheese was tasty... better than your standard kids meal in my opinion. Fried chicken was a little bland, but I appreciated that it wasn't oily at all. It tasted like a healthier chicken sandwich. I didn't care for the dipping sauce and was happy it came on the side. The slaw on it was also just ok. I wouldn't get it again but would maybe try it if they changed up the sauce or slaw. My husband loved the burger and I tried it also (it was tasty) Truffle fries were good but you have to like truffle. I was hesitant to get the cheesecake because of the "burnt" name but I'm glad we did because it was delicious. The vanilla ice cream was so good too. We skipped the toffee drizzle and so happy we did because it was delicious as is. It wasn't too sweet and both tasted homemade. Can't wait to come back and try some more on the menu!

We started with the kung pao calamari: a very interesting take in calamari. The sauce is sweet and the salad paired well, there was sadly much more salad than calamari but I enjoyed this appetizer. Burger: this was my favorite, it was cooked perfectly medium rare and the fries were really good. Baby back Ribs: the sauce was pretty sweet, it was the same one as the calamari, and also the same exact salad as the calamari, disappointed to see my entre was the same exact dish as the calamari but the sauce was on the ribs as well as the salad. It is more like an appetizer to be honest. Fried chicken: they were out of the chicken wings so they offered to use fried chicken breasts instead. The chicken itself was so dry and it had no flavor at all. Really disappointing. Nobu style sablefish: this was the only dish we really enjoyed, it was flavorful and nicely cooked. Would recommend this one Lobster mac and cheese: this one was okay, not a bad dish but needed more salt and felt a bit bland Basque cheesecake: another really disappointing dish, it tasted store bought and just thrown in the plate. Also disappointed that it claimed to be basque cheesecake but it was just a regular cheesecake so why call it basque Also worth noting that they were out of most of the dishes we originally wanted to order so we had to order something else. Get there early. The service was great, our server noticed we didn't like the cheesecake and took it off the check which I appreciated. I would come to this restaurant again but note that the food itself is not that most thought out and flavorful, the place relies on its physical presentation.

Absolutely -- corrected version:…read more The Doctor's Office was one of those meals where everything we ordered was memorable. Such a cool concept, but more importantly, the food and drinks absolutely delivered. We started with the Lobstercargots -- chunks of lobster baked in herbed garlic butter and served with fresh-baked focaccia for dipping. Forget escargot; this is the way to do it. The bread soaking up that garlic butter might have been worth the trip by itself. The Bistro Blue Tomato Soup was fantastic. Rich, smooth and full of flavor, with the signature syringe of Grey Goose. "Goose the soup!" Great presentation and even better soup. For the main course, the Famous Bistro Bouillabaisse was outstanding. Lobster tail, Gulf shrimp, grouper, mussels and clams in a saffron tomato broth, with more fresh-baked bread for dipping. Beautiful dish and absolutely delicious. And then there's the Street Corn Named Desire cocktail made with butter-washed tequila. What a drink! The street-corn garnish and seasoned rim make it one of the most creative cocktails I've had in a long time -- and it tastes as good as it looks. The Doctor's Office manages to be fun and clever without the concept overshadowing the food. Excellent meal, creative cocktails and great attention to detail. Definitely a place we'll come back to.

We had to finish with two dessert cocktails off the "clinical trials" menu, one was a tequila espresso martini, and one was a take on a Dubai chocolate martini. Perfect ending!
