Disappointed in our pizza tonight all around. We ordered and it said it would be delivered between 7:40-7:55pm. By 8:10pm the app said delivered (which it was not) and when we called they said it was at least 15-20 away still. By 8:25pm still no pizza. When we received the pizza it was clear it had been sitting out awhile. The cheese was just one giant piece and when you took a bite the cheese (all of it) pulled completely off the pizza. It was unenjoyable to say the least. Also, we've ordered before and this time I said to my husband the crust was thinner. Someone else made this comment as well that quality has gone down. Please hire more drivers or warn customers how long it will take. We would have saved the $10 in delivery fees and tips to go pick the food up (we live less than 5 minutes away) and actually had our food in a decent timeframe, hot and fresh. Had we known it would be this long never would've ordered from them tonight. We almost did Papa Johns but wanted to support small business. Sadly, it will be our last order from Bricks and we will no longer support this local spot. read more

Great little neighborhood pizza shop. Pizza was piping hot and fresh. If the weather is nice, you can eat it outside on the picnic benches.

Ordered pizza and wings for a staff lunch on the fly. The pizza was delicious!!! We had a pepperoni pizza and cheeseburger pizza with the buffalo wings. My only compliant is that the pizza was a bit greasy but some people like it like that. read more

Exellent pizza with quality ingredients. The gentleman who made our pizza and seemed to be the only person there was VERY personable and professional. his friendliness won us over. There appears to be a brotherly competition between the Arlington and the Centerville locations. We love the Centerville pizza, again because the owner brother is actively working and making the food. Pretty good pizza and free delivery. In my book, that's saying ALOT for Arlington. This place is located in the strip mall on Route 50 that has an Outback in the same group of shops. It's not gourmet or thin crust pizza... in terms of concept this is a bit closer to the takeout places in NY/NJ/Connecticut. The taste is closer to that style than say to Ledo's. It's not the perfect NY style pizza, but it gets the job done and satisfies the urge. Fair prices and friendly delivery people. Their website also has some coupons worth checking out. read more

Brick's is good, and definitely better than most of the chains, but not the best. Brick's pizza was solid - the bread was good and the cheese was nice, but I wasn't a huge fan of the sauce used. The end product was a pretty solid pie. The cinnamon sticks here aren't anything to call home about, so I wouldn't recommend ordering them. The price was a bit high for what I'm used to, but not exorbitant. I'd probably order again, especially given how late this place is open. read more

The food: I FINALLY found my go-to pizza delivery in Arlington! The pizza is the best I've had in the area. I've ordered a medium pepperoni for a lazy night in with my boyfriend and two larges + cheesy bread for a Bachelor viewing of 6. Everyone loved it! Especially the bacon and pineapple - who knew! You can get a good thin crust from this place. However, their delivery sucks -- they never deliver when they say that they will. When I called after many late deliveries to let them know that this is unacceptable for the price that we are paying for the product, what sounded like a young girl did not hand the call to a manager. It's a decent pizza, certainly better than your big-chain places...but you really don't get a lot for your money. Online the posted prices are based on their version of a Medium Pizza for like 13.99. Who on earth calls a pizza shop and orders a medium? Nobody that I know. So, you call and make your order then decide on larges and before you know it you're paying $40 bucks for a pair of "large" pizzas...which are really mediums. So, it's sort of a bait-and-switch. It's a decent pizza if you are really craving one, but it's a lot pricier than what i expected for the size of the pie and the quality. I ordered a pizza pretty late (around 9 pm) on a week day, hoping to eat a quick meal before heading to bed for work the next day. We ordered and called in to change our order from a pick up to a delivery. I had to remind the girl on the phone to ask for our address (!!), which probably should have indicated what would happen next. We waited and nothing happened. Sure that if there was some problem they would have contacted us, we patiently waited until about 1.5 hours later when we called. I'll just post the conversation here: "Hello, Brick's Pizza." "Hi, I'm calling because we placed an order a little while ago and we just wanted to check to see if it was on the way." *No response, just fumbling as they pass the phone to some guy without explaining to me what's going on* "Hi, how may I help you?" *I repeat the inquiry* "Yeah... So our delivery driver didn't have your number, so when he showed up he had no one to call." Let me point out now that I had called them, so it should be on record, but even moreso, the person taking my information should be asking if this is something they don't record in store. At this point I was pretty devastated and hungry, so I ask what's going to come of the pizza. He says they can -Remake it and deliver it in "half an hour" - which in the unlikely event that is an accurate time estimate, would place delivery time around 11:30 pm. I have work the next day and it wasn't feasible for me to trust that they would actually show up this time, let alone continue waiting up for them, so I obviously refused. -Get a refund. This option doesn't actually make up for any of the hours I wasted on this whole process but at least I get the money back for the item they never delivered me. I thought they'd forgotten to send the refund, but sure enough we found a gift certificate mailed to us a few days later with a gift certificate for cheesy bread as well. We ordered online in advance and they showed up nearly on the dot and had no problem taking the gift certificates even though I forgot to mention it. The pizza was good, and cheesy bread was amazing. We've eaten here countless times, even before we found out about the Tuesday BOGO deal. I'm a sucker for pepperoni pizza, and I love theirs. My boyfriend likes their meat toppings. I'm also a huge fan of their cheesy bread, especially because their marinara sauce is so good. The tomato sauce on their pizza is also the main reason why I prefer to come here. I used to live across the street from this place, and I have to admit I loved it and may have ordered a few too many times from here for my health. That said, it is a reliable pizza place if you are nearby. If you have other pizza locations closer to you (other than a national chain like Domino's or Pizza Hut), you can probably skip the longer adventure. The pizza is pretty expensive if you are ordering large pizzas for a group of friends, but if you get their lunch special of a medium two-topping pizza and two sodas then it's worth the trip. read more

The pizza's just not that great here. Admittedly, I got a tomato, broccoli, and Italian sausage pizza, which is weird (trying to keep it healthy...and sausage-y). The tomatoes were way past their prime, there were about three pieces of broccoli on it, and the sausage was not good quality sausage. The breadsticks were pretty good, but tiny. Seriously, a breadstick the size of a French fry does not count as one slice. Also, when I tried to use the coupons on the web site, as suggested by other reviews, they advised me that those coupons were outdated and that the price had gone up for the deal I wanted. Not a huge thing, as I can afford the extra $2, but still kind of annoying. I mean, if you have to tell people that those deals no longer apply, then you need to update your damn web site. On the plus side, the delivery was really fast. However, with all the other quality choices for pizza out there, it probably wasn't good enough for me to ever order from here again. read more

No-brainer food and the Brick's Pizza coupon was in the door as I walked in from the airport... they boasted "voted best in Arlington" which made me wonder if it was Arlington, TEXAS. The pizza is like Pizza Hut pizza without the grease. I didn't want to eat more -- a bad sign. I ordered the pasta shells just for yelp. I got four shells and the "meat" sauce was actually mini-meatballs in red sauce (as in pellet sized). The shells were fine. I ate them after I extracted them from the mini-meatball hordes. I think rarely, if ever, have they taken the full 30 minutes they quoted to deliver, even on the weekend nights, and it is always steaming hot. Personally much prefer the thin crust to the regular. One piece of advice, the "online ordering" appears to be through a third-party website which has had a glitch or two when we've used it (a reason I'm only giving 4 stars), so we always call in. Bricks is good but just a little too dough-y. We've had their Spicy Chicken Pizza a ton over the years--it's a must try, and their cheese is above average. Sauce is oddly a little too sweet too--like the add to much sugar? Let's put it this way... i'll pick Bricks every time versus the major delivery chains, and it's top 10 delivery in Arlington, but I like the leftovers a lot better crispy & heated up in my own oven @ 350 degrees for 10 minutes the next day. read more

My delivery experience: The pizza itself is a standard good pizza. Personally, I thought the bread was quite good. I also really liked their bread sticks -soft on the inside, slightly crisp on the outside. The marinara sauce that comes with is very good. In my opinion, Brick's deserves a solid 4 stars because of the good delivery service. Both the pizza and bread sticks were delivered fresh and hot in a fairly quick 33 minutes. My pizza arrived looking as though it had been handled with good care. I recommend Brick's as a good delivery option for those who live in the area. Without any reservation, hesitation, or equivocation, I absolutely positively will NEVER AGAIN order from, eat at, or recommend this Brick's Pizza location so long as it is run by a manager named Delfhlton (assuming he even gave me the correct spelling which I wrote down). Here's what happened. On 05/05/20 at 4:29pm I placed an order for delivery (one x-large pizza with chicken wings) and informed the very nice young man taking the order that I was very particular about my order being correct and that this was my first time ordering after seeing their reviews and if he would be patient with me - which he agreed to and was. When my order arrived, the amount seemed higher than I had originally thought, but not wanting to waste the delivery drivers time (he didn't know the correct price either), I paid and tipped him. I then checked my receipt against the (here is the critical point) pricing that was on the website ( I NOW know I was re-linked to having been rudely informed by this manager they didn't have a website - which they do, but when you click on delivery you are then re-linked elsewhere!) and realized I had been overcharged by $3.00! Am I to do investigative work prior to delivery orders now? I then immediately contacted this location asking for the manager who was unavailable at the time and subsequently left my number and respectfully asked for a return call to work things out, and even leaving a few options I'd be open to. Moreover, I left this message with Mirko, who had originally taken my order and had CONFIRMED the pricing over the phone (from this re-linked website) prior to my order. At this point you probably can guess I didn't receive a call at this point. So today, 05/07/20, I called and this guy answered and I asked what was the name and spelling of the manager and was told "Delfhlton". I asked if I could speak with him and he identified himself as the manager. This is where things took a turn for the worse. each time I tried to explain what happened, this so-called "manager" would interrupt me, deflect, make excuses for (even said regarding Mirko, "he's just a kid" when I mentioned he confirmed the pricing) and essentially holding me accountable stating, and I quote, "I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE PRICING" when I mentioned I'd think that he would and maybe should be checking to be sure they were correct. Needless to say he kept reiterating how much he didn't care and that there pricing was what it was. Thus realizing his head was as hard as the first name of this establishment, I told him i would post a YELP review and let everyone know. This is exactly why so many potentially good businesses FAIL. It is because of BAD hire's like him that are more interested in PROFIT, than PRINCIPLES AND GOOD PRACTICES which last a whole lot longer than and actually contribute to more profits. I would hope that whoever may read this should strongly consider buying at other pizza locations of which there are many, before giving their money over to someone who CLEARLY could give a you know what, than to provide good service and growing a business in good faith. And to demean Mirko the way he did is deplorable. Mirko provided me the absolute best in service being patient, a great listener, and in caring and making sure my order right! Unfortunately his manager is ALL WRONG and should be strongly disciplined, suspeneded or even FIRED for his lack of people skills and professionalism. And all while businesses are hurting to stay open during the pandemic! the arrogance and nerve of this "poor business representative" And thanks for reading this lengthy review. Pizzas are decent, but nothing to write home about. Dough is often undercooked and toppings are of average quality. What took the review from three to two stars is the service. I live right near the store so I typically pick it up myself. On more than one occasion, I've sat around the counter for 5-10 minutes before anyone acknowledges my presence. Yes, they have seen me there. If I was there to actually place an order (I order before I walk there), I'd have walked out. Again, this has happened on more than one occasion. The cheesy bread was just that: melted cheese on top of bread. It lacked flavor and the slices were more like slivers. The meat pizza was filled substantially with ingredients but it was better after being refrigerated and reheated. The BBQ chicken pizza was misleading. BBQ chicken pizza's usually have BBQ sauce instead of red sauce, but their version had red sauce and the only sign of BBQ sauce came from the brownish diced chicken. I guess the chicken was marinated in BBQ sauce? The pizza was also dry, which I don't understand because if you claim to be "Arlington's Best Pizza" then you should be churning out awesome pizza every time. Timely delivery... it's amazing how many pizza places screw this up, but thankfully, our pizza from Brick's has arrived on time in both cases where we ordered it. The pizza itself was quite good... not spectacular, but pretty decent. Wasn't a huge fan of the crust, but the sauce and toppings were great. The wings we ordered were also good. My friends and I were trying to find a pizza joint that was still open after midnight on the way back from DC. Z Pizza was closed, but we found a jewel right off of 50 towards Falls Church. We rolled in and ordered the x-large Ballston (feta, spinach and tomatoes). It was ready in 10 min. and was so delish! We quickly devoured our pie outside while the guy working was closing up. We used to LOVE Brick's. Been going there for years. Sadly, things have changed. No more succulent, delicious pizza. Several months ago we noticed the sauce had changed. Then started the erratic quality in general. Then it was overdone. Now, the crust is thinner and there are less toppings on each pizza, even though our order stayed the same. And so, it is no longer our go to. We are leaving --- after many years. So sad to see things deteriorate while the price goes ever higher. read more
