I feel so misled by the comments on this site. This is probably the worst pizza I've ever had. The sauce is so overpoweringly SWEET that it made the slice inedible. If you like really, really, really sweet pizza sauce, you will like this. The toppings, in my case cheese and pepperoni, were mediocre, and definitely not worth the price. I think I paid over $20 for a medium pie so I expected the best. As a frame of reference for how they price things, if you order on the delivery apps, a 2 liter bottle of soda is $7. You read that correctly. The wings, which I paid over $15 for were mediocre. And the cinnamon sticks were just bad. They were really chewy and, I can't explain it, but the consistency/texture of them was just "odd." It wasn't an enjoyable eating experience. I was SO disappointed in Brick's because after tax and tip I paid over $57 and had an experience that was quite bad, and definitely not reflective of the good Yelp reviews. read more

As a transplanted NYer, I am on the hunt for great, and I mean great, pizza. Pizza that will keep me in this area, and not force me to trek back to the Big Apple just for some good Za. Brick's is OK. This is a pizza only place, which means they don't sell calzones or hot subs/heroes (depending on which side of Hudson you fellow transplants are from), but they do have wings. The staff is polite, friendly, and easy to understand. The delivery is fast, fresh, pizzas are hot, and there's no mess when you open the box. So why do I rate Brick's as OK? Brick's is solid and consistent, but again I am on the hunt for great pizza that I can write home about. The dough is thin crust, but that's where the similarities end. The crust, although thin and uniform, can be a bit chewy. The cheese is mozzarella or provolone, your choice when ordering, and the times that I have ordered has been quite uniformly burnt (as a visual only (and not to describe taste) think of the microwave pizzas that you place on the silver cardboard disks and how they come out burnt on top. The cheese doesn't ooze, so don't worry about burning your mouth trying to decide "can I get all the cheese in one bite, try and flip it back onto the slice with my mouth, or should I play it safe and pull back and guzzle my coke?" Speaking of slices, you can order medium, large, or x-large. I don't know why they use these sizes, but the slices are quite small and narrow. If there are toppings, then these slices will be loaded; and speaking of toppings, they are fresh and Brick's doesn't skimp on the good stuff. Brick's is OK, and when I need a quick pizza fix they'll have my business again, but my quest for great Za continues. read more

When in need of a quick and delicious pizza, this place delivers. I love their cheesy bread and can't order from here unless I get it with some garlic sauce . I'm giving them one star not because the pizza was not good. They need to have the people making the pizza wear hats and not rub their heads constantly. We were waiting for our order and watch one of the pizza makers rub and scratch his head . Very disturbing. We told the manager he did throw away the pizza he was working on At the time . I used to love ordering Brick's for delivery, but the last few times I have, it has taken an unacceptably long time to get here and the pizza has often been cold on arrival. As I type this, it has already been more than an hour since I ordered and still no pizza, despite being told when I ordered that it would be about 30 minutes. I called to tell Brick's this, thinking maybe at least I'd be offered a discount, but the woman on the phone just shrugged it off by saying it was a busy night. I've been to Brick's Pizza now a few times and their pizza is pretty good and consistent. I'm from NY and know that I will not find NY pizza down here in DC but Brick's isn't too bad when you just need a pie. They do use fresh mushrooms on their pizza instead of the awful canned mushrooms which is a definite plus. read more

Amazing service at this location! I ordered online through the Eat24 app and accidentally sent it to the Centreville location. When one of the employees discovered this, he started making the same order right away, and took care of contacting the other location to alert them, and offered me a free soda/water while I waited! I love Bricks. I live down the street and find the pizza to be far better than any of the big chains and better than Zpizza. The delivery is always at my house within 25 minutes piping hot. The delivery drivers are really nice and they allow me to take advantage of the coupons without giving them the coupons. Normally I order on Tuesdays when their pizzas are buy one get one free. I think their prices are very competitive and are below average. I can't say I have ever had any of the bad experiences that others posted and I would argue that it may have been an isolated incident. read more

I'll keep this short. Guy taking the order was very nice - gave me a lunch special even though it didn't technically apply when I ordered. Pizza was delivered within 25 minutes. Delivery driver was also very nice (recommended a few coupons as he left as well). Pizza was hot, fresh, and very good. I highly recommend this pizza place if you're in Arlington. I was staying at the Westin in Arlington and ordered a pie for delivery. The pizza and cokes arrived on time and was EXCELLENT! (if you like thin crust pizza). Cokes were ice cold too. Two big thumbs up from this guy if you're staying in the area and need a good warm meal. read more

We have not ordered here in a few years. I remember the crust was really crunchy and the sauce was very tart. They do have cheese sticks and they are very good. Unlike Dominos they do not have cinnamon sticks. Pizza is very chewy. read more

I have tried most of the pizza delivery options in the Courthouse/Clarendon area, and Brick's is by far my favorite. I order from them about once a week, and am never disappointed. I usually order a pizza with traditional crust, which is soft but crisp. The ratio of crust to sauce/cheese/toppings is perfect for my taste. Their breadsticks are also ADDICTIVE. You can order online or over the phone, but to get their specials I think you have to order over the phone. read more

Fantastic Pizza! The crust is crunchy on the outside but doughy on the inside and if you love delicious sauce then this is your place. Sometimes they get busy and it takes a little over a half hour to get to you, but it's a small joint off Rt. 50 catering to Arlington, DC, and Falls Church, so keep that in mind. It's a non greasy, tasty, medium crust kind of pizza with sweet tomato sauce. We've been ordering for the past two years with excellent consistency. Check it out. Do not eat here. You will become sick. I have ordered from here twice and both times have become sick. The quality of the ingredients is very poor. The cheese is especially bad as it has a rubber like taste to it. After the pizza is cooked it looks like a low quality microwavable pizza. As a result, I had diarrhea like symptoms for over three hours. As a smaller and independent pizza place I am assuming that higher than average prices and lower than average ingredients are needed to maintain profit margins. Brick's pizza is fantastic. In fact, you won't get many cheesy breadsticks or pizzas as good as Brick's. I live a short distance from Brick's and that makes me incredibly grateful. My friends and I decided to go and grab something to eat after a long hike around Lubber Run. We went into Brick's and asked for cheesy breadsticks, garlic bread and a small pizza. Surprisingly, the man at the desk gave each of us a free drink with a smile. In minutes we were given our delicious food which we took back to eat. The service doesn't get any better and neither does the food! And one thing's for sure- everything is home-made. Absolutely delicious. The staff is pleasant and the pizza was well prepared. The dough was perfect and not burnt like some other places I have been too. I ordered pepperoni and sausage with extra sauce and a white pizza with spinach and feta. The pizza was not greasy or overly oily. Both were perfect and tasted even better the next day. I am a pizza fanatic, I have been to every pizza place in and around Arlington and I must say that Arlington isn't the place to go if you are looking for an out of this world pizza. With that said however there are one or two places where you will find a decent pie. One of them is Bricks Pizza. Located off Route 50 in arlington forest, it's quite a refreshing alternative to typical carry out pizza places. The pizzas are simple, no chefs with big fancy hats, no wood burning ovens or cheesy italian music in the background(no pun intended). The menu is modest, featuring your typical types of toppings and specialty pizzas, such as the traditional margherita, hawaiian, three cheese and so on and so forth. It is solely a carry out restaurant so there arent too many people working there at one time. I live in the area and go there about once or twice a month and i have never had a problem with service. Other things on over are cheesy bread, bread sticks and chicken wings. It won't be your most authentic pizza experience but it will appease a quick pizza fix. This is my wife's and mine go to for a good quick pizza. I wish they had other menu items. They are lightening fast, once we got our pizza in 18 min. the average is 22 minutes, we do live close so that helps. Not to worry the pizza is well cooked. Only once in 4 years have they messed up an order and they more than made up for it, gave it to us for free, fixed the order, then credited us for another free pizza. The pizza is very good, not the best but better than most delivery around, it's more than reliable, and is a staple to our dinners. The toppings are tasty. I just wish they had a few more menu items. Resist corporate pizza-- Buy local, Buy Brick's! Besides that pithy philosophy, this is GREAT pizza anyway! Over the last four years, I've had every pie here at least once and there's not a single one that I wouldn't recommend. Lots of variety. When I'm in the mood, my favorite is the Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger with jalapenos. Otherwise, the Arlingtonian and the Ballston are my go-to's (sometimes thin crust, sometimes not). It's take out, but if you love a hot pizza right out of the oven, their complex has nice tables outside. Finally, not that it's related to pizza, but I'm always amazed by all the high school and college youth working their butts off in this place. It's promising and inspiring. Brick's might be the biggest and best Arlington 'training camp' for the *real world* that these kids will ever get. But, I don't have to compromise my taste to support that and the local business preference. Finally, if you ever have any problems, the management is fast and generous to correct anything and win you over (that's rare in NoVA isn't it?). read more
