Everything we tried was really good. We started with the tenderloin squares. It was a Breaded Tenderloin just cut up. Feel it's over priced. It costs as much as getting a sandwich and fries. My husband got the Quesadilla Burger with upgraded fries to cheese fries. He enjoyed every bit of the burger. I got the Philly cheesesteak. The beef had good flavor (maybe a bit to much pepper). The bread was very soft and good amount of onions, peppers and cheese. I had the fries with it, just basic crinkles. read more

3.5 stars rating. The service was really good. The bartender was running the entire front end for the Sunday lunch crowd and she did a great job of keeping up and keeping us informed on our food progress. The problem was that the food entrees were disappointing. The breadsticks came out first as an appetizer (5 for $10). Sure, they were on the high end of prices, but these were delicious and baked perfectly! The cheese sauce that came with them was also quite good. We were off to a good start! My wife wanted the grilled chicken taco but not the taco shell, so they accommodated her request and put it on a plate. It looked appetizing and had a nice amount of veggies to go with the chicken. The problem was that the chicken was really dry. I tried a bite and agreed with her assessment. For my entree, I went with the Reuben and the Sidewinder fries as a side. The fries were perfect! Really liked those thick cut swirls of potato. But the Reuben was disappointing. First, the cheese they use had the same smell as the Kraft Parmesan cheese. I know it was Swiss and tasted okay, it was just this musty smell every time I lifted the sandwich up to take a bite. And the corned beef was just not cooked long enough. I knew it was okay to eat since beef goes through the curing process, but the beef was tough and had no juice. I've had really great Reuben style sandwiches at Turchetti's and the Bloomington Sandwich shop, so I know what a Reuben should/could be. It wasn't a bad sandwich, just not anything I could recommend. I went to Brickers Pub for the very first time Friday night. It had some tables and a bar area. When we got there there was one table available right by the door. But within a few minutes another table opened up and a couple seats at the bar. We chose to sit at the bar. The bartender said they didn't have a beer menu but did have two IPAs. I got the zombie dust though it is actually a pale ale. She asked if I wanted 16 or 22 (?) ounces. I said 16 but I'm pretty sure I got the larger size. The glass was huge. They do have the bottoms up glasses and system. The bartender was busy, but we never had to wait too long for another drink or even our check. Neither of us were hungry so we didn't try their food this time. I would definitely go back and next time get some food. read more

Food was a 3+, server was a 3 +, the atmosphere was a 1-. A table of six or eight we're so loud, screaming clapping whistling watching a basketball game. It was very disturbing for all others in the restaurant to hear themselves communicate. We asked them to please tone it down just a bit so we can hear each other and they were belligerent and rude and continued. We asked for the manager to speak to them, instead they moved us to another room. Other guests got up and left without even ordering food. When the manager (owner) said he was not going to ask them to tone it down because they were regulars and after all it was a bar. It said when an owner allows one small group to be offensive to all of his other patriots. I would not recommend this place if this is how he treats his patrons. read more

There's a juke box...but it's in the back room where there's nuttin goin on. There's tvs galore in the main area but no sound going on. No music at all...all your going to get here is people chattering and dishesclanking..sitting at the bar is so dull and boring. Bring your ear buds if your just coming for a beer. If you're looking for a place to smoke, drink and watch sports, this is probably the place for you. The atmosphere is pleasant, although smoky. If smoke is bothersome to you, it's best that you go somewhere else. The bar girls are cute and friendly. They take their jobs seriously, and the management seems to take their employees seriously as well. This is something I appreciate in an establishment, having spent many years in food service myself. The food is definitely good, although we are talking about bar food, here. It was surprisingly elegant looking when it arrived to our table. Which makes sense, as everything on the menu is around $10.00. I'll be back, if I'm ever this way again. read more

Brickers is one of our favorite places! We love their Southwestern Chicken salad, Southwestern chicken wrap, and BLTA wrap with sidewinder fries. They are doing curbside during the stay at home order so you don't even have to go in! They always provide great service and delicious food. I wish we lived closer and could go more often. read more

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in the Burg! Such a great place to go to with friends and hang out! We love sitting on their patio when it's warm outside. Their quesadilla burger and their southwest chicken wrap are personal favorites of my Husband and I! Their sidewinder fries are also a must try and are some of the best fries I've ever ate, hands down! Don't forget their yummy ranch too! Service is always great and super attentive as well! I came in tonight with a few friends who frequent this establishment. I've only been in a handful of times before tonight, but have always had a good time. That was NOT the case tonight. Our service, specifically Angelica, was awful. When she was not ignoring us, she was being flat out rude. This wasn't isolated to just our group, either. It seems to just be how she conducts business. It was even to the point that our group could hear her making rude remarks about us and other customers! She ignored allergy concerns which resulted in my friend not even eating her food. No compensation or remake was offered for that. My friends said this isn't normally the case when they come here, but I don't think I will be back as long as this person is there unless she is heavily coached. As someone who has worked in this industry for 20+ years, it was frankly outrageous. I know we're all struggling to find help, but THIS kind of employee is NOT helping in already tough times. I love coming to Brickers. Me and my girlfriend and another couple come here regularly. I don't usually leave reviews, positive or negative. But I have to, based on my experience. The server/manager Angelica was...very unprofessional. She made it a point to give me and the other male companion different attention than she did the females. It put us in a very uncomfortable situation. We ate, had a couple beers each, and left. Usually we would have spent hours at Brickers. Enjoying our night, and drinking. I hope that you are conscientiously aware of the people that you hire for your establishment. I'm sure that we will come back, but truly will not continue business there if she continues to treat guests in that manner. read more

We always get great food here! It's surprising since this is actually a bar! It's a nice place for my husband and I to grab a good bite to eat and have an adult beverage. First time here and right after the lockdown easing. Soooo impressed with their precautions: menu on line only, condiments and silverware only on request, half the tables have been removed and staff in masks. No touch handles on restroom doors have been installed. Also I believe I just had the best Reuben I've ever had. Good service. Impressed! read more

Best place in town to have a wrap. They have fries called the side winder fries that are really good. Great atmosphere for a game and great beer choices. I have tried tons of things on the menu and never been disappointed and neither has anyone I've went with. Nice place to go if you don't want kids around. read more

My wife and I came here with the family for dinner during a recent visit. I'm not sure what we were expecting, but we were disappointed. The place was really loud and filled with cigarette smoke. The menu, while seemingly large, didn't really have much in the way of lighter fare. The service was fine, but the food took a while and ended up being really greasy. This may be a good place to grab an after-work drink, but the cigarette smoke and the noise level, amongst other things, make it difficult to enjoy a meal. read more

First time we've ever been here. Ten of us in party and only one waitress working. She did a Great job. We never were out of drinks plus she was waiting on 5 other tables and bartending.
