The Warehouse at Luigi's is the perfect event space!…read more I've now attended the Kern Athletic Fencing Foundation's (KAFF) annual gala here for six years, and somehow, every year gets better! The Warehouse is a separate space from Luigi's restaurant and functions beautifully as an event venue. The atmosphere is warm, spacious, and perfectly suited for an evening like this. KAFF's gala is an annual fundraiser supporting their fencers, with a major focus on their parafencers. The evening goes beyond just dinner and fundraising. KAFF's president shares the organization's mission and vision, followed by a live demonstration featuring some of their young student fencers and parafencers. It's such a wonderful way to actually see the athletes and the sport in action and understand what this organization is all about. And this year's event was extra special with Bakersfield Mayor Karen Goh in attendance! The service is consistently excellent. The staff are always smiling, attentive, and incredibly accommodating, paying attention to every detail and making sure dietary needs are taken care of. They keep the food flowing and the drinks pouring throughout the evening, which makes such a difference during a large event. After six years of attending this gala here, it's easy to see why KAFF continues to choose Luigi's restaurant. It's a wonderful space for bringing the community together, celebrating these athletes, and supporting such a meaningful organization. Looking forward to year seven!
