I like that a retired firefighter is the owner of the place. I like the fire fighter decor and pictures. However the pizza was not extraordinary. The crust and toppings were very good but the lack of pizza sauce made the pizza very dry and not extraordinary. read more

I drive to and from LA to SF about once a month. Every single time I do, I stop by Tony's and pick up 2 large pizzas because the pizzas are great! My family and I love these pizzas and they don't mind the 4 hr wait for me to bring it to them. They are even better when they arrive and will be quickly air-fried for that additional toastiness and crisp bits! Not oily, fresh ingredients, and straight forward service. The manager (I'm assuming she was the manager) stood out--she was super helpful, handling other customers' issues, complaints, and order changes with patience and professionalism. The food? I shared with a friend and had leftovers to take home. Total cost was about $35. I came during a weekday, so the service was quick and the employees were courteous. The place was clean, and I got my food in a short period of time after ordering. They have a separate area where the bar was and a TV on for entertainment. To start the prices are ridiculous. We paid 35 for a "Large" combo pizza. The pizza is really a medium. Chicken strips and wedges were both undercooked and overpriced- 16. The chicken strip looked and tasted like frozen strips from the market. The server didnt bring the food to our table. We were the only ones here. When he called me to get the pizza at the front counter he handed me a hot pan of pizza thus burning myself. Would highly recommend to not come. Me and the wife ate lunch here while at the outlets. Not many options but even if there was this is a solid choice. This restaurant was much larger than I expected. It's about the same size as a freestanding pizza parlor. They do have a bar. Not sure if full bar or just beer and wine. The staff were very friendly. We shared a small combo and breadsticks. The small was pretty good size and had 8 decent size slices. The pizza was better than average for sure. They packed on the toppings and the crust was very good. Also was not greasy at all. The breadsticks were much better than I was anticipating. The order came with about 10. While not the best pizza I've ever had it was better than mountain mikes or round table to me. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was very nice inside. Cost was about the same as a round table. Pizza breadsticks and drink ram me 30 but fed me and wife and had leftovers. The lettuce of the salad was fresh and the dressing was good. The breadsticks didn't have too much flavor but it was still decent. The pizza was decent as well, they didn't skimp on the pepperoni but there wasn't much of the mushroom. I like this Tony's above all others. The toppings are super generous and fresh. The crust for me is always soft and chewy, never tastes frozen. I like the zippy sauce too. Employees here are ok. Doing their job. The Mall at times is super quiet so if you pass inside here and see no pizza slices for sale, just ask. They half cook the pizzas and store them. They then finish the cooking process when you order. Keeps them from getting overcooked when reheated. Better value I suppose to buy the whole pie but.. we stick to slices and always get a couple before we leave. I would say at over $4 a slice, it runs about average cost compared to other places and quite convenient. read more

I picked up a Tony's Combo on my way home. The pizza restaurant is located inside the Tejon outlet center, next to Express Outlet Clothing Store. Upon entering, no one greeted me. Two employees were talking to a customer waiting for a pizza. I was at the register for a minute or two until I was finally greeted and my order was taken. Bad customer service and bad first impression. I ordered a Tony's Combo pizza. It's definitely filled with lots of fresh and flavorful ingredients. The crust is very buttery and semi-chewy (which I like). My husband, a huge pizza connoisseur, gave it 2 thumbs up, too. For a small, it's definitely enough for two people. We actually had leftovers the following morning. I am giving 4 stars ONLY for the pizza which I recommend. BUT they need to fix their customer service. With inflation and other options, bad customer service will drive customers to other options. read more
