I can't believe they're taxing at this Taco Bell. I drove here on my way back home to visit my family in the bay from LA. Tell me why the usual cheesy bean and rice burrito is $4 and the cheesy double beef burrito is $4. Insane!!! why is the cheesy bean and rice burrito way more than usual. It's normally $1.49 at every other Taco Bell I've been to. My order came out to $9 I could've gone to chipotle at that point and would've gotten more protein and more portion for just $1 more. Granted the burritos were bigger but I came to Taco Bell for a quick value meal. Very disappointed. Also rice was hard and chips in the double beef burrito were stale. This Bell is located and operated by the TA Center. Hubby is the TBell fan, I never eat there and he was upset that the Bean Burritos normally on 99c menu to $1.49 was a whopping $3.99 / with Tax $4.27! Nevertheless he was hungry and ultimately decided to give them the business. It was larger ie more filling than normal and it took 5+ mins. He says it should be a Zero bc of price, hardly fare when it tasted the same to him and more filled than typical.Took longer likely because slightly understaffed, not uncommon with Covid. There are tables outside that were in the shade of the bldg at 10:30AM with sun behind the bldg. Tables were all open for indoor dining. Btw also run by TA and located within, a Burger King (no impossible variety here), Subway $6 for half and Popeyes about $10 for 3pc boneless meal. The Pizza Hut was closed. Location offers TA benefits of gas @ same stop that were at regular prices, plenty of bathrooms and lots of other drink, Snack, ice cream, etc options. Best to find the next stop if you are counting on regular prices and on a budget. read more

$30 for 3 bean burritos and a bowl... that was the 2nd red flag after a super long time. When we questioned the price the guy said it's a franchise and they're allowed to charge that much. After waiting 10 mins at the window a guy comes up to tell us the potatoes are out (we added potatoes to everything) he asked if we wanted something instead so we asked for extra burritos. Got our food and everything was wrong, the bowl was missing 90% of what comes on it, the beans were burnt and they put cheese on one of the burritos even though we clearly said no cheese. Honestly one of the worst meals I've ever had, it was inedible but I was so hungry and it was our only chance to stop I ate a few bites and now I feel sick. Not a pleasant experience at all! I rarely rate a business this low. We ordered 3 tacos, a burrito and a large beverage. The total came to 24.00 dollars... we were floored, asked about it, the server was rude. Didn't realize that some restaurants can charge more than others. The food was messy and felt thrown together to add insult to injury. The taco truck down the street that was not there this trip has much better, authentic and delicious tacos for much less $ and appreciate their customers.. I travel between between Northern and Southern CA once or twice a month and have attempted to patronize this Taco Bell location at least 3 times but have only succeeded once. Last night at 7pm the open sign was on, but the store was closed and dark inside. The time before that, it was 5 minutes before closing time, but they had already closed. The one time we were actually able to order, the prices were two to three times as much as they are at other locations. Taco Bell corporate should really take a look at this location. I read the reviews prior to venturing in, but the heart wanted what it wanted, and a crunchwrap supreme was on my mind. Ordered, and it took a REALLY long time to receive the food. I'm talking, one order in front of me sit and wait 10 minutes for the food. Taco Bells are usually quick.. this one was definitely not. As a previous reviewer mentioned, it appeared they did not drain the fat from the meat so the crunchwrap and tacos that were ordered were literally dripping and becoming soggy. Pretty gross. The Crunchwrap was also not properly sealed and had a huge gaping hole at the bottom. Luckily I was not eating on the go and eating there, because otherwise that would have caused an extremely messy situation for the car. The whole point of ordering that creation is to have something relatively un-messy. The cheese was not melted in the quesadilla and was actually cold. We're traveling long distances on the road, and with traveling, it can sometimes become very monotonous, so when pulling in to stretch and get a bite to eat, I would hope to have a good experience. When we checked our order after it was completed (always do this folks..) we weren't surprised to see one of the chicken taco 4 packs wasn't even there, and they gave us those -atrocious- "cinnamon twists". So, naturally, we informed the clerk, Roshell, about her mistake and she simply stated "oh, yeah I know.." and didn't even apologize or at least ATTEMPT to correct her mistake. Then to top it off the cook, she was about middle aged with ash blonde hair, simply stated "oh well... keep the twists then". Sad.. but we actually had to direct her to correct our order. I have had taco Bell In some pretty bad places, but this one takes the cake. Not only did they have all the time in the world to cook my food due to a non existent line, but I even told them, specifically, to take their time. Lo and behold we get our food back and it looks like roadkill. The food was cold, not even cooked with the proper recipe. The people in the resteraunt were extremely unprofessional and didn't even know how to cook anything. After a gruesome labor day week of hiking, my friends stopped by here to get some gas and a quick dinner since we were all getting hangry. This Taco Bell is connected to the whole gas station store with Pizza Hut, Subway, and Burger King right next to each other. Place is filled with people trying to use the restrooms, and there's always a line for it. I'm surprised that there aren't any reviews for this place. Sure, it's a typical Taco Bell, BUT the catch is that THIS PLACE DOES NOT SELL FRENCH FRIES. I had to go to the Burger King next door as the cashier suggested. I was surprised when she told me that, and felt awkward for thinking I knew the menu well enough without my glasses. You have been warned fellow road travelers. There was no one in line, so I walked up and ordered; they served my baja blast freeze within two minutes and then my burrito came shortly after. Another stall among a group of fast food joints banded together at a gas station rest stop. So you have options....its just too bad they're all just junk food. They did make me wait a long considering there were very little guests in total and were spread out among other stalls.
