Most amazing, comforting vet I've ever known. The front staff is the best and they all really love every pet that comes through the door.

They had great availability and were able to get us in within the same week! The team was very nice and able to share in detail all the services available. The staff was nice and welcoming, and the lobby was clean and well kept. I brought my dog in for a nail trim, which they handled quickly and professionally. The only hiccup was with the walk-in policy. Online, nail trims are listed as a walk-in service, so I stopped by assuming it would be straightforward. When I arrived, they explained that walk-ins are only allowed during certain hours on certain days. To their credit, they made an exception since they weren't busy at that moment, which I appreciated. That said, it was a little frustrating because that information isn't listed on Yelp or their website -- it's only posted on a sign inside the shop. I'd still come back because the service itself was good, the staff was kind, and the prices are fair. I'd just recommend calling ahead to confirm hours if you're planning to use a walk-in service. Suggestion for the owners: it would really help customers if the website and Yelp page clearly listed the walk-in hours so people know what to expect before they arrive. TL;DR: Affordable, clean, and friendly dog grooming spot with convenient parking. Just call ahead if you're planning to walk in for services like nail trims, since the walk-in hours aren't currently listed online.

After having a…read morebad experience with a self-employed sitter, spotty availability with another self-employed sitter, and then deciding not to travel altogether, Leila and her amazing team at Precious Pet Care showed me that their high standard of care meant I could be at ease and take vacations again! I was referred to Precious Pet Care by a dog trainer I know. I was interested in their Golden Overnight Care services, a 24-hour service where the sitter is with my babies all day! In particular, my dogs are extremely attached as they are used to coming to work with me and generally being around me 24/7, so this type of sitter service was a must! I was given a link to request a meet & greet and schedule the days a sitter was needed in my home and met with my assigned sitter, Kate, prior to my requested days. Ever the worrier about my dogs, cats, birds, and guinea pigs that I would be apart from, Kate handled my bombarding her with information in good stride. During my vacation, I was pleased to see that she sent numerous photos, videos, and updates daily! Kate made me feel completely at ease while I was away and was such a great communicator. Upon my return, all my critters were happy, and the house was neat and clean! Kate made sure to take the trash out and clean up after herself as well. Truly a 5-star experience! I would highly recommend their Golden Overnight Care services to anyone who wants to enjoy peace of mind on their next getaway! Thank you to Leila, Kate, and the entire Precious Pet Care Team!

Our fur baby is our entire world & having a wedding without him wasn't an option but we also wanted to enjoy the day & remain present; by having Leila, it gave us the freedom to enjoy our day while also having our sweet boy involved in the big moments. Our dog, Dave, was fed, given plenty of water, walked, and even took a nice nap while watching a movie with Leila. As if that wasn't enough, the day after we received multiple updates on how Dave's evening was followed by MANY photos! Our baby boy was given his own personal photoshoot and it truly captured how the day looked from his eyes. I cannot thank Precious Pet Care enough for everything they gave us & Dave on our special day! HIGHLY recommend!

I honestly probably wouldn't have gotten back to it and just have lost the name of the business except that Nancy called me that same day to set up my appointment! She was very nice and friendly, but even better, accommodating! She came by to meet the cats and learn the layout etc. and ended up staying for a whole hour (I love to talk about my cats). I was very impressed by how professional and thorough she was. Honestly she could not have done a better job. We had her visit twice a day to give medicine to one of the cats which was a relief for us to have someone else do. Every day I got an email with a picture and update which I thought was unnecessary but actually really enjoyed and got to look forward to. She put in obvious extra effort to befriend the cats and I was impressed that she managed to get close even to our shy cat. This business is just a lifesaver! The prices are beyond reasonable and the quality of service they provide is just insane! They obviously love animals and know how to handle pretty much anything. They take down very thorough information so if anything comes up they can take care of it. I think our cats missed Nancy when she stopped coming. They will be happy to see her when we go out of town again. Your pets are in the best hands with Furry People Pet Sitting. I am so glad we found them and no longer have to worry about making friends come check our pets, etc. They also include mail, plant watering, and other services I had never even thought of as part of the visit. Upon checking into the "hotel" we requested to see the area he would be staying in. His "hotel" room wasn't the greatest digs but it was clean and dry. As we were filling out the paper work for him to stay the lady must have asked us 4 times if they were responsible for feeding him while there. Seriously! I started to wonder then if he was going to even get fed for the next two days. I dismissed the horrible feeling and chalked it up to separation anxiety since I had never left my dog with a stranger or a "hotel" before. The part that disgusts me the most is when we returned to pick him up neither the same woman who checked us in nor the teenage boy who brought him out said anything about our dog being injured. As we were walking him to the car we noticed he was limping on his back leg. We immediately went back inside and asked why he was limping. The lady never really said much but the boy said our dog got his foot caught in the door as he was bringing him out and he was only bleeding a little. I looked at this punk kid and the lady and said "A little! Why on earth would you even think about letting us walk out the door and not even mention the fact that my dog just got injured in your facility only a matter of mere minutes ago!!" NEVER AGAIN! Would we even dream of taking our dog here!!!

However, Christine was able to work her magic to get Sadie engaged every day while we were on vacation. It is a huge relief to know that while we are gone, she isn't hiding and sleeping 24/7, sad and depressed. Sadie played with Christine, ate her wet food daily, and posed for photos to send to mom;-). Not only do I feel that Sadie was in great hands, but Christine went above and beyond to help with a few items around the house such as grabbing mail, cleaning up after Sadie's bulimic tendencies, and perhaps most importantly, feeding the outdoor cat "Blue" that we've semi-adopted in the last few months. And not only did we get daily photos and texts to update us on Sadie, we also got a few updates and photos on Blue, too! I love traveling but hate leaving Sadie. Now that I no longer live in my old place or in the area, I feel more comfortable writing this…read more Jeremy walked my dog for a few months after I moved to San Diego. He did a fine job, and I didn't have any major issues. My only issue in the beginning was that he told me AFTER our meet and greet that the time clock for walks starts when he walks into the building. I showed him the entrance closer to my place (which is right by the entrance), but he wasn't using that one at first. While I had wished that he communicated this during our meet and greet, I wasn't upset by it after we had established a steady routine. A few weeks/months after I settled into my new job, I had been granted the ability to work from home full time with a few occasional sporadic days in the office. I texted him to tell him that I won't need a walker after a certain date and explained that I'll be WFH. I even told him that I'd still like to reach out on days I'd have to be in-office. Later that day, he called to "ask" me what he did wrong. His tone was extremely confrontational and aggressive. I reiterated that I don't need a walker anymore because my situation had changed. He kept demanding an explanation. Honestly, I felt really put off by this. I had to tell him several times that it's because the situation had changed and it took multiple attempts to get him off the phone. He kept trying to push me because he didn't seem to believe me. Honestly, I don't care if he did. Before this conversation, I probably would have asked him to walk my dog on the days that I'd be in the office, but this made me so uncomfortable. Over the period of several months, he occasionally texted and/or called to ask me if we had any dog walking needs. I didn't answer, but eventually texted him to tell him that we did not. I understand his wanting a "reason" to try to improve. However, I gave him a reason. And even if I didn't, I don't necessarily owe him one to the point where he has to demand one repeatedly.
