Brian is by far the best colorist and hair stylist. My friend recommended him a few years ago when I had a botched color job and he fixed my hair and made it look amazing and I've refused to see anyone else since then. I don't even live in the OC anymore and fly back to see him to update/color/cut my hair. My sister flies from the east coast to get hair fixed by him when she is disloyal and gets her hair done by someone else back in her hometown city (Boston). In addition to his quality work, he is very efficient as well - but still keeping in line with doing a great job. Brian's work is high quality in an appropriate amount of time so you don't have to block off an entire afternoon for your appointment. I can't imagine going anywhere else now as spending hours at a salon seems painful. He's very personable and it's easy to make and change appointments. He always works with me when I have a tight travel schedule. I don't know how he remembers details of my personal life with all the other clients but he always asks about my family, friends, personal life as well. I never go to the same hair stylist b/c I never really do anything drastic and I'm not that picky. My main concern is that my hair is versatile, so it looks just as good styled or not styled, up or down. So I bounce around from salon to salon trying to find a hair stylist that is able to make sense of my inspo pics that show probably 3+ different things I THINK I want (in terms of bangs, layer type, and style) b/c I honestly have no idea how to explain hair styles. Ana cut, colored and styled my hair after over a year since my last visit to a hair salon and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out!!! I have thick wavy asian hair that has gone through its fair share of boxed dyes, toners etc and after nearly two years of dousing it in purple shampoo my hair was fried and all different shades of brassy lol. Ana convinced me to do a natural ash brown balayage rather than the charcoal blue that my hair could not realistically achieve at this point and I am so happy I trusted her judgement. Got a men's haircut and it was quick and easy done in 15 minutes. Would recommend for people that are in a rush!

This was my first time getting my hair dyed professionally and I had an amazing experience. First off, due to COVID-19, you are not allowed inside the building unless you have an appointment, so Ana met me outside and led my inside to the salon. The chairs are spaced apart and the salon is following the COVID-19 sanitary guidelines. Ana was my stylist and she was exceptional. I showed her a picture of what I was hoping for, which was a deep brown color. My hair was a lighter brown. She worked her magic on my hair and transformed it into exactly what I was wanting. She trimmed my hair and curled it after she was done coloring it and my hair looks GREAT! I was able to get my hair dyed, cut, and styled in a little over an hour. Before I left, Ana told me the color number and brand she used on my hair so I could purchase the products on Amazon to do the hair dye process at home in case the salons shut down again. Talk about a stylist who cares about her clients! :) Everyone in the salon was super nice and talkative. I can't wait to go back again. read more
