I am so glad I found Rachel who saved me from terrible haircut this week! I got my haircut on Monday with another hair stylist at Best Hair Care in Tustin that I had no issues previously, but she really butchered my hair. I wanted to cry because my bangs were cut way too short (even though I told that stylist that I like bangs long) and the haircut was choppy and not even. I tried going to Supercuts Wednesday for a fix, and that stylist ended up recommending layers, aging my face. I wanted to hide from planet earth after these two cuts. So out of desperation, I looked on Yelp for a local stylist and found Rachel. She answered my message after hours and wanted me to send her photos of my bad haircut so she can understand my issue ahead of time. Today I got my haircut (3rd one in one week!) with Rachel. I really needed a haircut . Rachel could see me really fast. I have had some pixie cuts, but often they went much shorter than i had anticipated. Rachel listened carefully and took her time judging my hair. It is fine and very light. I know ,it starts just laying flat ,when it gets too long. There is some bob to it, and i believe easy to style. She did a great job. Shorter on top to give me volume. I can easily put some mouse in and that is it. I really loved it. Rachel is super sweet. When it comes to hair salon, I don't really mind not getting the "customer service" as long as my request is heard. I told her multiple times that I did not want to cut my hair too short even though my hair ends was damaged already, and no layers . I even showed her a specific photo, trimmed only. I left the salon very unhappy because my hair is too short + too many layers + the price. The price suddenly went up by $20. I recently had an appointment here for color and haircut and wanted to share some thoughts about my overall experience. First off, I really appreciated how Rachel was kind as soon as I walked in, especially with helping me with my things and getting settled. There was a bit of a language barrier but luckily her daughter was able to translate, which I'm extremely grateful for. Both Rachel and her daughter tried their best to address my concerns and help me understand my hair situation. Rachel was thorough with the hair coloring process consultation, which was nice too. As for the haircut, I'm not too happy about it because it was cut more than I wanted and I showed her very specific reference photos for the style and it didn't match well.
