Second, there are a ton of employees and it's like being in Grand Central Station because they are all running back and forth really fast. I was sitting in a room with the door open and I felt like that episode in Twilight Zone of the freak that everyone looks at because they literally stopped and looked on their way by. I even mentioned that to the guy that was helping me. I've never had that experience before. When I booked the appointment they didn't tell me that the dilation would last 3 to 5 hours and I would have really liked to have known that and would have made arrangements for drop off and pick up since driving home in traffic with the sun in my eyes was a challenge. At the end I got Dr. Besser and I really like him. Good doctor that showed me the pics of my eyes and answered my questions so for him, I will recommend.

Found this entire experience very professional, assuring and helpful. I was not kept waiting long…read more The doctor was charming, knowledgeable and kind. He spent a good amount of time with me and answered all my questions. Really helped address the issues I was having. I found the care to be exceptional. My only real issue was with his assistant who did my intake. He was a bit overly inquisitive about unrelated medical issues and medications. And I'm not particularly shy or private during medical visits. While I do appreciate a solid work up and documented medical history, there's a fine line between getting too nosy and asking about unrelated personal issues during an ophthalmology appointment. Also, the doctor dilated my pupils without any warning or discussion which made it challenging for me to drive home. I would've appreciated a heads up and being advised that I wouldn't be able to see clearly for well over an hour. I have since referred him to friends, so the issues were relatively minor compared to the level of care and expertise.

They are all attentive and uplifting and they treat all of their patients with integrity. Antonio Perallta, 310-749-7747, d_zirkler@yahoo.com,…read more Date: May 21, 2026 Dear Dr. Daniel Krivoy, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unacceptable treatment I received from your administrative team today, May 21, 2026, and to request an immediate resolution regarding my scheduling status. Earlier today, I contacted your office to confirm an upcoming appointment. The representative I spoke with was unable to provide clear communication or explain the purpose of the visit. Furthermore, she inaccurately claimed that I had cancelled the appointment myself. When I questioned this, she attempted to explain the situation using dense medical terminology that was difficult to comprehend and adopted a highly condescending and upsetting tone. Seeking a resolution, I subsequently spoke with the individuals identifying themselves as your office manager. Disappointingly, this manager prioritized protecting her employee's behavior over resolving my scheduling issue, completely invalidating my experience as a patient. As a patient of your practice, I expect clear, accurate, and respectful communication. Professionalism is vital in a healthcare setting, and the dismissive attitude displayed by both the front-desk staff and office management has severely compromised my confidence in your clinic's administrative operations. To resolve this matter, I request the following actions: 1. A clear, jargon-free explanation of my current appointment status and its original purpose. 2. A formal review of the handling of my call by both the representative and the office manager. 3. Written confirmation that my patient file accurately reflects that I did *not* cancel my own appointment. I value the medical care provided by all physicians, but I cannot tolerate being treated with disrespect by the staff. I look forward to your prompt response to resolve this matter. Sincerely, Antonio Peralta Hopefully, bringing this directly to you will result in clear answers from you.

First she called both of us "old bags." Hello? This is not professional or appropriate. Then when she left the room but was within sight and earshot she told the other workers there, "Old Bags reunite.' Who does this? She acts nice and then has absolutely no sensor with how she comes across to a patient and says insulting things. I told her that I didn't consider myself an old bag. She really shouldn't be working anymore if she can't control her mouth. I have never had anyone speak to me like this! If she considers herself an old bag that's Her problem. But she should never ever say that to a patient, that a patient is an old bag just because she feels like she is one. I can't help but wonder if there's a cognitive impairment with this person. I would hope the medical profession would have her get that checked out. Because usually people with cognitive impairment start verbalizing things that are not appropriate socially.
