Westside Family Health has been exceptional for our family. Dr. Javdan in particular has been…read moreincredibly helpful to us and our family, and we're very grateful for the care, guidance, and attention he has provided. What makes Westside Family Health especially different is that they are a nonprofit with a genuine focus on preventative care. They're not in the business of selling procedures or maximizing the number of services you receive. Their focus is on keeping you healthy, identifying problems early, and helping connect you with the right specialists when needed. In a healthcare system where financial incentives can too often influence care, it is incredibly reassuring to feel that the people advising you are looking first at your health and not their bottom line. They're also incredibly easy to work with--responsive, thoughtful, and very good at helping us navigate the healthcare system. We feel very fortunate to have Westside Family Health as part of our family's healthcare. Highly recommend.

I requested that the number please please be kept off my appointment notes and paperwork. It was front and center under my name. I just had a really bad fall and hurt my knee but I can't bring myself to come in to have it looked at because I feel so violated and unsafe from my treatment here. Patients have the right to decline being weighed, but this practice has surprise attack exam tables that weigh you without your consent.

Needless to say we went to UCLA and took care of us ASAP. She had an infection that needed medication. I cant imagine what would have happened if I had followed their advice and waited two weeks. I will never be back. One other thing I noticed with this clinic - Every time I take her in for something other than a physical they always referred me to a specialist. I ended up at a specialist for a sprained knee! The clinic we were referred to was shocked that we were sent to them for something so minor. Should have left after that visit and saved myself some $$$.

The appointment felt extremely rushed, leaving little room for questions or discussion. When questions were asked, the responses were delivered in a tasteless and dismissive manner, which made the experience uncomfortable as a parent. Dr. Monk came across as very condescending and lacked the warm, reassuring demeanor one would expect from a pediatric doctor. There was little empathy or effort to build rapport, and the overall interaction felt transactional rather than patient-centered. As a parent, it is important to feel heard and supported, especially when it comes to your child's care, and unfortunately, that was not the case during this visit. Due to this experience, I would not recommend her as a pediatric doctor to anyone's children.

I had some feeding issues with my daughter especially at the beginning, which I had never even imagined with my first. I really loved the fact that Dr. D was all about the well-being of my baby, but also me as a mother. Two areas of improvement I feel they could make is with their receptionist. If they could be more proactive about booking the next appointment upon parents walking out the door, this would be really helpful. Sometimes we forget about our next appointment, and then when we call back it is difficult to book as slots get filled up fast. Another area that I would really appreciate would be the time management. The wait time I've had averaged about 30-45 minutes after my scheduled time.
