We were dropping our daughter off via Uber to the Superdome for the Taylor Swift concert. I noticed this place and said we can walk here in which we did. It was a fabulous find. We've been to distilleries and a few wineries on this trip, but no breweries--until we were Ubering to drop our daughter off for the Taylor Swift concert. I noticed a brewery just a block away from the Superdome, which made for a nice change of pace. I sampled a few beers: Struttin*, a Helles Lager at 5% ABV, brewed with Bavarian malted barley and lightly hopped with locally sourced Hersbrucker; Working Tile*, a West Coast IPA at 7% ABV, hopped with Citra and Centennial, and dry-hopped with Simcoe and Cascade; Electric Mayhem*, a Hazy IPA at 7% ABV, brewed with Citra hops and dry-hopped with Rieske; and finally, the cask ale While We're Young*, an English Ale served at room temperature, brewed with Maris Otter Malt and East Kent hops, as it should be. All the beers were solid, but I especially enjoyed the English Ale, although I ended up having a glass of the Hazy IPA--still my favorite. Great brewery with a spacious interior

Tonight was my first time coming in since Brewery Saint X opened. My friend and I came through of course since most places in the area are closed during this time. They have a late night happy hour 9:00 P.M.-11:00 P.M. The music is fire (Common & Outkast). The only downfall is happy hour menu only had one food item (dog of the day). The flavoring with the holy Trinity he was really good. However, it was a little tough to my liking because of the casing of the sausage. Once they smoke it (gets a little tougher). To be honest. The last time I came, I said I would never get the wings again. They were nice enough to give us complementary wings (not expecting that). They prepare the wings a little differently versus the last time I was here. I will literally come back just for the wings. Smoked BBQ wings A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. There's beer, frozen cocktail specials. I had the frozen pimms cup. The Pimms cups was nice and fresh I can taste the ginger, beer and cucumber. It was fresh and refreshing. I definitely got to come here more often late nights. Doing the day the vibe isn't so bad. But late night it's definitely up Our server Griffen was great! And well as Matt one of the managers.

This brewery was recommended by the nail shop around the corner. Cute vibe/ environment. Great staff. They were closed for a private event but accommodated us as soon as they flipped the place and were open. I'm not a huge beer drinker. But I tried to that I actually liked- Cypress and I believe charm school. Ordered green tomatoes. That were okay. You get a lot but I wish they would have come w/romoulade sauce. Tomatoes tasted as if they werent in season or weren't ripe enough. Beef fat fries and sauce were a delicious little bite. Feedback on other things ordered from the group. Boudin balls & the gumbo were just OK, lacked flavor. Wings- lemon pepper flavor was good. Smoked nicely. Shrimp dip- cold, Which we were not expecting. thought it would be like a hot cheesy. Seafood dip. More like a seafood salad which was disgusting. The crackers were good though. Overall, not a huge fan of the food l, but drinks and service were good!

Just what I needed to wrap up a 6 day visit to NOLA. The beer was local and delicious! I tried both the Folklore (I am here for Taylor Swift so it's a must) and the Pavilion. The Pavilion is by far my fav... so smooth! The Hot Green Tomatoes and Boudin Balls hit the spot for final Cajun fare. The HGT were sliced then and fried to perfection with Cajun seasoning on top. Yum! The Boudin Balls were bomb! They're weird to explain but if you don't love them yet give them a try. So good! The staff is chill and served me up a pint before they even opened. Oopsey! So kind.

Building is amazing firstly, very spacious & welcoming atmosphere. The service was great, I love a tap room vibe whilst trying new beers. The beers were ok, didn't really find one on this visit that stole my heart but I did try the smoked old fashion as a night cap & it was pretty good. I'll definitely swing by again one day to try some new releases & grab a bite to eat.

Really great food and drinks. Close enough to the sports venues for pre and post game drinks, and they hand out free beers whenever LSU scores a touchdown. This is definitely my new spot to watch the games. They've got a couple of really good beers on tap and a few frozen drinks to mix it up. The staff is super attentive and just fun to be around; top that off with the good food and cool crowd and you've got yourself a new local drinking spot. Only downside is, no NFL ticket so you're gonna watch whatever is on, but all the other perks make it worth it.

Started with fish dip and red cabbage salad. Super flavorful and delicious. Smoked brisket old fashioned and a frozen pimms. Then we had turkey BLT and fried eggplant sammich. Yummm! Along with a couple different beers to try. Wonderful experience and friendly, fun staff! Will be back! Enough tv's for sport watching as well.

    Chicken sandwich

The drinks are fabulous, but the food was not as awesome. Boudin balls are not very flavorful. The chicken sandwich is very small, but is tasty. The hot sausage sandwich is tasty as well, the bread was soft. The mac and cheese had no flavor, I was so disappointed about this one. The server was very kind. The ambiance is super nice.

Went here for a beer and ended up being here for a beer, a bite, and some frozen drinks as well. We began with a Pimms frozen cup and beer. Then added a pick a pepper with fish dip and ritz crackers... gone. Next a plate with some of the sausage from the BBQ place attached to this. It was photo day!! We were gifted two more frozen cocktails and beer. Sam was our bartender who educated us on NOLA customs. This was an amazing afternoon! Go here!! Have fun!!

The atmosphere was very nice! It felt more of a restaurant than a brewery. Very big, and open. The food was really good! I LOVED the smoked chicken wings. We also got the beef fat fries, tasty but little too salty! The service was decent, and the beers were okay. Nothing too special, so I had to order an espresso martini. Which was average.

I hosted a private event at Saint X Brewery for a company dinner during a conference at the Hyatt Regency across the street so it was a very convenient location. They gave us use of a whole room with windows and our own bartender and server. The food was delicious and the cocktails were fun and unique. I think due to the size of our party (40) it would have been better having two servers as she was a bit flustered. The room was clean and well lit, but the bench seating is not very comfortable.

For now, I'll just settle with a visit anytime I'm around the Irish Channel. The brewery is a wide-open warehouse that's set up in a way to accommodate both patrons and brewing operations. They have a great selection of merch, as well as games and events throughout the year. I wish I had thought to ask for a tour on this last trip just to get a closer look, but I can save that for another time. I truly appreciate the wide variety of beers that Urban South has on tap. You can take any kind of beer drinker to their taproom and everyone will be able to find something that they'll enjoy. Sours are my first choice beer-wise and that Lime Cucumber Gose or the Rocket Pop are always winners. On top of beer, they also brew hard seltzers, non-alcoholic versions of their core beers, a line of THC seltzers, as well as create hard iced tea and house seltzer cocktails. I'm so happy to have made it over to the taproom for Mardi Gras this year to grab a 4-pk of Carnival Time (the sour series made with Dong Phoung king cake). There are four different flavors - traditional, almond, coconut, and strawberry - of which I am highly anticipating on drinking.

Walking up from the water the first thing you see is this gigantic New Orleans mural and it's indicative of the brewery inside the same building - huge warehouse, it even has camper parked inside with a bar that extends much of the back wall. There are picnic tables so plenty of seating. I was there an early Monday afternoon so it wasn't busy at all, but I could imagine it being filled with lines to satisfy throngs of partygoers. There are five vertically placed flat-panel monitors with a variety of drink-menu options. I chose to get a flight of beers I hadn't had previously which ended up being 4 varietals of their King Cake Ale: * Cake Ale - Pale Ale - Other 6% - Creamy pale, almost registers as a fruited sour, sweet body with notes of almond, amaretto, cinnamon and vanilla. 4/5 * Coconut King Cake Ale - Pale Ale - Other 6% - Milky coconut in this almost tart King Cale ale, getting notes of both raw and toasted coconut, almond, amaretto, sweet vanilla and cinnamon. 4.3/5 * Almond Crème Strawberry King Cake Ale - Pale Ale - Other 6% - Creamy body with distinct almond note followed by vanilla and cinnamon. 4.2/5 * Strawberry King Cake Ale - Pale Ale - Other 6% - Fruity tart strawberry in this pale ale, finishes fruity and sweet, a touch dry. 4.1/5 Overall I enjoyed the beers I had - all very drinkable. The cinnamon was a bit much all at once, these are almost dessert beers and better taken in small amounts after you've slammed a few of their staple beers, in my opinion, but I'm still very glad I had them. The staff and service was good with an efficient demeanor - I think if they were slightly friendlier I might have stuck around and tried more of what they offered but as my second brewery (and plans for more exploration in the evening) I decided to keep things neat with this single flight. Afterwards I walked back up to St Charles and took a short nap and got cleaned up for evening shenanigans.
