There was also a little bin of pins and stuff, so I grabbed myself a few of those. The staff up front talked to me a bit and when I'd mentioned my husband collects board games and retro games, they pointed me toward another shop in the little mall behind the DQ. Now that the business has closed, we've learned how they really treat their customers. Upon scheduling a pick up (which was a WEEK LONG WINDOW), I was told to pay the final invoice via check so I wrote the pick-up rep a paper check. Then a couple of days later we were charged the same amount on our credit card. When I called to ask what the charge was, I was told that it was an accident since we were on auto-pay and they would mail our check back with our deposit. THEN they cashed our check. Then I emailed and called and called. Finally, I got a call back and guess what? The check was coming in the mail. HAHA! What a lie. I've been emailing and emailing and guess what? Nothing. It's been about 6 weeks... BEWARE!!! THIS COMPANY WILL BE A NIGHTMARE AFTER YOUR FIRST DELIVERY! Please, just find another company.

The brewing operation includes seven tanks, giving visitors a glimpse into the production side of the business. For anyone interested in seeing more behind the scenes, Greenwood Brewing does offer brewery tours. There isn't a set tour schedule, so it's best to ask staff about availability when you visit. One feature I thought was especially cool was the live Instagram follower counter displayed behind the bar. Watching the number update in real time was a fun and unique touch that added to the brewery's modern, community-focused atmosphere. We passed AZ Wilderness and saw how busy they were so we stopped at Greenwood as they were less busy and we had never tried their beer before. My parents prefer IPA's and are tough critics, however, they liked the IPA's so much they bought a pack to take home. I'm not a huge beer drinker so I ordered the seltzer on tap and it was good + refreshing. My husband also ordered the Mango Lassi and loved it. We spoke to the staff member on site who I believe said they've been around for 6 years or so. Greenwood definitely deserves more hype as not only were their beers good but they have cute seating arrangements with an open courtyard. When this happens it seems the whole patio is taken up and occupied for the evening. It has a bar out on the patio but it is small area to move around the two tall long tables when they are occupied.
